Small update. As pointed out by the new shop we had to take our vehicle to, Thoma billed our insurance for work THEY NEVER DID. This place is a fraud and I will make sure to be in touch with my insurance about this fraudulent claim. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If I could give negative stars I would. Wife, son, and I were coming back from spring break and, as we went down the highway, suddenly there was a tire (rim and all) directly in the road in front of us. Concrete divider on one side, other drivers on the other so, well, we hit it. The tire hit us like a train and took out the front, passenger corner of our van before ledging itself beneath the tie rod / linkage under the van... Window washer fluid was pouring out onto the pavement and we were stuck. For the next several hours we sat in the median of the highway going through MUCH drama with the insurance company and tow companies but that is another story altogether. Finally, we got our vehicle towed to Thoma. We were told it would be awhile to fix it and was dependant on how fast they could get the parts and whatnot. Understandable. As we live 5.5 hours away from Thoma, we got a rental car and continued on our way home. We called several times about the status of the vehicle, parts, etc but the person we needed to talk to was always busy or gone. (Sam) We never got any calls back and, thus, never knew the status of anything until they texted to say the vehicle was fixed. YAY ! So we drive 5.5 hours back down to Thoma and see the van and it looked nice. They did a great job with the painting of the new parts and it matched perfectly. A mechanic had just returned with it from a small test drive and said it was smoothe as butter. We were so happy to have our baby back ! So we head home and, about 4 hours into the trip, a piece of trim from the front passenger side just fell off... on the highway !! Just POOF and gone ! Red flag !!! Oh well, just trim and we are not going to turn around and drive 4 hours back to Thoma and then have to get a car to come home and then go back. So I notice the light for washer fluid was on. I joked and said "What ? They couldn't refill the washer fluid ?" So we get home and I grab a jug of washewr fluid I had in the shed and start pouring it in and it poured right out onto the ground. THEY NEVER EVEN FIXED IT !!!!!!! I mean...seriously ????!!! My wife contacted her insurance and whatnot and is still dealing with them. A day or 2 later, the front end started making a loud CLUNK sound when we would first get in, start it up, and turn the wheel. Did not happen all the time and seemed more like the first time we used the van after sitting for a bit. This DID NOT ever happen before and the sound was coming from, you guessed it, the front passenger side. Now, as of today, the steering is getting loose.. lots of play in the steering wheel to the point where you have to turn it quite a bit before the wheels actually turn. VERY VERY unsafe and, from what I can tell, it is on its way to the front end failing and, more than likely, while on the road which, needless to say is VERY dangerous and I don't even want to think of what could happen to my wife and son. I don't know if they are this irresponsible and shotty with locals or just with people they know are probably not going to drive back from another state to have them refix things they SHOULD HAVE fixed right the first time but DO NOT TRUST THEM !! NOT AT ALL !! The wife is still going back and forth with insurance since they are clueless how to work this since they paid Thoma and now would need to send to someone local and fix what Thoma messed up. We have no choice but to drive the vehicle... but, trust me, if anything happens to my family because of a failure in their work, the lawsuit will be high and swift !

I hit a deer with my F 150 and it broke almost every thing in the front end. My truck was in the Thoma auto body shop for maybe three weeks and when It was done it looked awesome. Thank you Thoma auto body shop for taking care of my truck.Thank you Wayne for taking care of me.

    Rust coming back through.

I brought my van into have some damaged fixed on the bumper from a small accident. While I was there I requested that they would fix a small rust issue. The estimate for that was around $500. That would include replacing the metal and repainting in the area. They fixed it it looked good until a couple months later. The paint began to bubble and it was clear that the issue was back. I brought it back in and they said that something must not have been done right and so they fixed it again. Around four months later the issue returned. When I went back to show them, I was told that rust repairs do not come with a warranty. Well I understand that is their policy, I do not understand how a company can charge $500 to repair something and be fine when the repair fails within a years time. I am very unsatisfied with the outcome and feel that I wasted my money.

Great service! They did a wonderful job repairing a cosmetic dent on my 2019 Honda Sport. I highly recommend this place!

Randy, the owner, was flexible with the times I could bring it in for an estimate. They did an excellent job repairing my car and finished it a day earlier than they promised. I needed some other bodywork done, which was unrelated to the claim from the person who backed into me. This bodywork was on the front bumper of my car, resulting from a youngster who fell off of his scooter and caused the scooter to put a huge dent in my front bumper. Randy said he would fix that big dent himself and I could pay him instead of having to file a claim with my insurance company, as the youngster was only about 11 years old and I didn't get the contact information for his parents. He charged me a very reasonable price for the front bumper and did a great job on it too. My car also needed some intense cleaning on the interior due to the fabric of the seats, which stains easier than I have ever seen anything stain! I have tried to clean it myself about 30 times using many types of upholstery repair and natural substances. All that happened is that the stains spread out more. Randy said he has an excellent detailer who will definitely be able to get all those stands up and clean other things on the interior. He said he would arrange to contact him and schedule it while my car was in his shop for repairs. The detailer's name is Paul Johnson, who I had heard of before due to the great work he does! And he did an awesome job with the interior, including the trunk! My car looked like a brand new car! All of that work was finished in four days! They are very hard workers and don't take advantage of people!

Needed some bodywork in my car. Was done quickly! Looks like new. Friendly, flexible service.read more

It did something that appears to me to be defrauding State Farm Insurance. SUMMARY Rivercenter Collision accepted an approved estimate and service itemization from State Farm. After that, and without my knowledge, Rivercenter decided to do much less work but charged the same price as the estimate. The estimate included painting and blending a quarter panel and rear door, as well as replacing the racing stripe. Not only did Rivercenter not inform me, prior to doing the lesser work, but also the company did not inform State Farm so that my insurance company would decrease the approved cost. Note, had they needed to do more work, Rivercenter would have issued a supplemental estimate. But because supplemental would have meant less money, Rivercenter purposely did not file one. Rivercenter mysteriously did less work and suggested popping out a small dent compost as much as a repair and paint job. Thru failed to notifying as to their divergence rom the estimate until it was competed and during the process of me receiving my car. Hence, I believe the company defrauded State Farm. I'm filing documentation, recommending Riverside Collision never be placed in State Farm's preferred vendor list. I have documentation to prove what happened. NOTE: I had this work done 500 miles from where I live, in the Greater Washington DC area. I noted my dispute on their paperwork and my receipt. Any other action would have placed me in a hardship situation as I needed to return home. DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY THAT ENGAGES IN, WHAT I CLEARLY BELIEVE IS, FRAUDULENT PRACTICES.
