They seem to have a maze of an entrance for the exit of the store almost like a spin door but it's a door with a one way in and one way out kinda maze . I think they are more focused on anyone taking this vs the actual space the store is pretty tight for walking around.

The inside of the store is BIG and I had no idea of where to look. I went to the front and asked for help and the cashier told me exactly where to go to find it and her recommended aisle was accurate. I think it was 8 or 9. After finding exactly what I needed, I got in line and was able to find a bamboo brush for laying edges. The cashier checked me out and told me about the free rewards program, so I signed up. The service was great and it was a lot of things to choose from, such as costume jewelry, hair products, braiding hair and cute accessories. I hadn't been in the store in over 7 years, and this experience made me want to come back the next time I need something.

I walked in and was surprised at the number of people in the store within an hour of opening on Sunday. The store layout is all about testers. You test items with the provided tester implements. They have a lot of lip gloss, balms and lipsticks and liners. There are also fragrance testers. Of course their goal is to get you to buy multiple items and the average cost per item is about $20. After a few minutes an associate came over to assist. She was very friendly and offered some suggestions because at that point I was not impressed with the offerings. Not anything particular, they don't have any colors or features you can't find in other products so I probably need to do research on the brand to figure out the hype. The associate was kind and I ended up buying a lip cream and a pair socks. With tax and all I probably spent right at $30. I'll post pics of the lip cream (G Suit in Shift) when I wear it but it's just a new brand not anything fancy. Probably not a return visit on the horizon but mostly because I honestly have no desire for a $24+ lip gloss habit.

Just keep in mind that they may not be familiar with the FF product line . Before visiting I took the shade - matching quiz online and narrowed my foundation down to two shades . After testing them in person, I found my perfect match . Pure Brown is the shade that I purchased. Fashion Fair brings back so many memories for me . It reminds me of a time when femininity was celebrated and when women of color had very few inclusive beauty options available to them . I remember wearing Chocolate Raspberry lipstick at 17 years old and admiring the iconic pink compacts on my mother's vanity . I couldn't wait until I was old enough to wear more of the products myself. One of the things I appreciate most about Fashion Fair today' is that the products are cruelty free and formulated without many of the harmful ingredients found in most cosmetics. The associate at the Clinique counter was more than happy to help me complete my purchase , and I left with a perfect match for my complexion . It's wonderful to see this historic brand continuing to serve generations of women . The stylist wanted to look and check my texture to determine color process before the color appointment. $165!!! Charged for a wash & silk press...or color consultation. She never told me the cost, I felt like that would have been a nice courtesy. I knew it would be pricey, but $165...I felt was unarmed robbery. She later contacted me for the color analysis...would be another $750. Which included $60 for "extra product use" because I have shoulder length hair. The stylist was nice but deceitful! Never again!
