My review simply pointed out that she was charged for small braids and a blow dry WITHOUT being informed those would cost extra. Also if it was informed then they need to add it to the service list which they have not. Her hair was already relaxed and straightened, and there was zero communication about additional charges until checkout. This kind of pricing surprise is misleading and unacceptable. What's worse is that instead of taking accountability and improving their customer communication, they chose to silence me. That speaks volumes about how they handle constructive criticism. A professional business should prioritize transparency and integrity and take accountability, not shy away and hid from all there problems If you're running a business, it's your responsibility to be upfront about costs-not quietly add charges on the side and wait till it's time to pay to speak up! My mother in law left crying upset how Ms Fox left her hair. She then called the salon today to speak with the owner Paula Britt to explain what happened but paula did not apologized for anything that happened. She actually asked for proof of a before and after Picture and then said " theirs always two versions" she didn't make her feel as a customer heard! and was unapologetic about the situation. All she did was defend her stylist and not care how my mother in law felt about how Ms Fox left her hair. She didn't want a refund! all she wanted was to be heard. I probably would have been fine without an appointment, but they were pretty busy by the time I left around 4, so it's probably good to call ahead if you go later in the day. The two ladies who braided my hair were pretty nice, and the shop was pretty clean. My hair wasn't braided so tight that I couldn't sleep that night, so that was nice. I was charged $90 for the crochet braids, and it took about 3 and 1/2 hours. I will warn that if you have natural hair that you should probably straighten it before you have it done here. I had my hair freshly washed and stretched with two strand twists, but the lady braiding my hair still tried to blow dry it straighter and run a small tooth comb through it. Both of those aren't the greatest for natural hair since the point of the braids is to protect your hair from damage and breakage, but at least I know for next time.
