DO NOT HIRE ANYONE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! I was quoted a price and a few hours prior to the work that was to be performed I received a text from Michael, the owners son stating his father wanted more money. Prior to the quote the son visited my home to assess the work to be done. He didn't have the equipment needed to complete the job. I was told I would have to pay an additional $150.00 for them to rent the scaffold. I stated I have a scaffold they could use. The same scaffold can be rented at Home Depot for $39. The job was to replace two ceiling light fixtures with new ones. I was told it would take 4 hours to do so. I would NEVER recommend anyone to utilize their services unless you are okay with being ripped off, experience bad customer service and like doing business with flakey people. I would not have given any stars but Yelp requires at least one star. DO NOT HIRE!!!!!

I called these guys in a panic because my thermostat kept going out in the middle of summer (I had the a/c guy out here the day prior for the same issue, but to no resolve). Michael squeezed me in for the same day and troubleshooted everything until he figured out that when Tesla installed our new solar system, they did not install the new breaker correctly; and the breaker was literally melting inside the panel, causing it to spark and short. To put it nicely, it's a good thing our house didn't burn down... Anyway, Michael was super friendly and professional every time I contacted him. He got out here quickly, figured out what the issue was, and came back the same evening to fix it. Super thankful for C&S Electric! read more

Let me start with saying that from the initial phone call to coming to my house these guys are top notch electricians and overall stellar customer service! We called Friday and Michael came out Monday and texted us when he was enroute to our house, just to keep us in the loop. He came in assessed the issue and in less than 45 minutes he was able to get my garage back in action! He was extremely friendly, very attentive and knew exactly what he was doing! I called C&S Electric due to an electrical issue, bad switch, I thought. They indicated they do not charge for a diagnosis for Apple Valley residents. Michael came the next day. He would have come the same day but there was a mixup with my phone. Anyway, he did the diagnosis and it turned out to be a bad breaker. He indicated he could fix it the same day. I was very happy with his knowledge, professionalism and timing of work done. If you have an electrical issue I would strongly suggest you contact them. read more

I needed an outlet for a sauna. I called 2 different companies they either never called me back or canceled last min. When I called C&S and they booked me for the following week and got my outlet put in in a few hours for a reasonable price. I will be definitely getting more work done soon. read more

Called up C&S Electric to repair an outlet that had caught fire. My man MIKE came out and quickly summarized what repairs were necessary. He gave me a great quote and I accepted. He was extremely efficient but also very thorough. He ensured everything looked good as well as made sure everything was working well. He had a great personality and was very professional. He discussed possible options of placement of the ports since the roof and outer walling might pose an issue, but he was able to find good placement of my ports. Job was done quick and easy in less than 2 hours. Aside from making a hole in the wall for the ethernet port placement, no additional breakage of the wall was necessary. Ricardo did say that in some cases, depending on the walling and roofs, breakage of the wall would be necessary for some people, but not mine fortunately. Ricardo and is colleague were awesome, professional yet friendly and personable. They cleaned up after themselves and did an overall fantastic job to make any streaks or scrapes anywhere. HIGHLY recommended if you are looking to have ethernet ports installed that extend from your main router/modem that go through the wall/roof so you don't have ethernet cords lying around on the floor.

On top of that, I just received a letter from this manager saying they were going to raise my monthly rate! Seems like they are in the business of billing but not honoring their contract. The Assistant: A creepy man in a cowboy hat, constantly attempting to hug me full front and also side arm. He landed a few kisses on my head and face. He told me over and over that he loved me and he tried to get me to write down his phone number to call him personally. "Don't tell the boss he doesn't like it when I do this." No kidding! I felt UNSAFE in my own home. I consider this behavior harassment and I spoke to John about it. The assistant wasn't present at the subsequent visits. Thank you, John. Communication: John was over 2 1-2 hours late for two of our three meetings. Read that again. 2.5 hours late twice, texting me at the time he was supposed to show up. For our third meeting I had to coax him into coming at our agreed upon time. He contacted me to say he'd be late and I convinced him that he needed to show up at our agreed time. Furthermore, John told me the work would take an hour, two at the most. At the first visit, the job took 8 hours for two men to do. The work was very unsatisfactory, so John came back a second time. He said it would take at the most 2 hours. It was an 8 1/2 hour day and the work was not satisfactory when he left my house. On the third and final day John said it should take an hour, two at the most. We know what that means ... ELEVEN hours later my Business Manager sent John home. Conclusion: If John couldn't get a simple paint job right in 26 hours, he never will. The most disturbing part of all was that he couldn't see or identify the errors. We kept asking him, "what do you think needs to be corrected," and he couldn't tell us more than the areas I'd already pointed out. I'll share some photos. Can you see what went wrong? If so, you're several steps ahead of John and his creepy assistant.

I also had one who ghosted me twice. MTE Electric was my very last bid and I have to say the best was saved for last. Mike was the most knowledgeable out of the bunch. Mike did a great job explaining different options on the outcome of the exterior outlets. He gave me two separate estimates. Speaking of estimates his estimate was the most professional estimate I have ever seen from any contractor. He emailed my estimate and it was detailed out from labor, individual parts needed all the way down to the screws. His estimate was not the cheapest but it was very competitive. I am confident we hired the most knowledgeable, qualified electrician. Mike did a great job with the install, everything came out clean and professional looking. I was so pleased I actually added another outlet before he left. So happy to have such a great electrician added to our list of contractors. Don't hesitate to give them a try.

I called EZ Garage Door and they met all these requirements with flying colors. I contacted EZ and its owner, Robert, responded immediately. He was on vacation but scheduled me the next day after his vacation ended. He offered me a free inspection to find the problem I was having, but I already was planning to have a new opener installed. As a courtesy, he sent me a list of openers I could have installed, with the total OTD price for whichever one I chose. He had at least 7-8 to choose from. He installs only quality brands and is very knowledgeable of what each can do, which depends on what you want the new opener to do. He arrived at the scheduled time and was ready to install immediately, since I had already chosen the opener I wanted. Robert is extremely knowledgeable and very prepared to do the job. He had to work around a "remodel in process", but had no issues or problems with the situation. He said it would take about 90 minutes to complete the job: 60 to complete the installation and 30 to explain any and all nuances of my new opener. The installation was very clean and professional. I not only want quality but appearance as well. It must be good AND look good. Robert was excellent! It looks clean. He spent the last few minutes explaining all the new functions of my new opener and how to use them. If you haven't purchased an opener in years, BE READY FOR AN EXPERIENCE! They have modernized the opener to meet today's automation. My business with EZ Garage Doors was a great experience. Robert is young, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. He's clean, organized and leaves no trace of even being here. He truly deserves a 5 star rating, and if you're looking to replace or upgrade your opener, this is the place to go. I needed an outlet added to my backyard. I had been calling around to get quotes. I left C&S Electric a voicemail. They texted me apologizing for missing my call and inquired about what I needed. I text them my request and they called me immediately to set up a free consultation within a couple of days. They came out, assessed the situation, walked me through everything they were doing and gave me a quote with materials included. I was very satisfied with the quote and told them I would be interested in them doing the job. They advised me they could do it in a couple of days. They came to my house, did the work in a quick and professional manner. They went well beyond my expectations in answering all my questions and concerns. I had two rooms in my home that lost power in the outlets suddenly . I have never really had any electrical problems and didn't know who to call. My mother sent me a link to C&S on Yelp and I called for a free estimate. I received such awesome service from C&S I just had to post a review.
