The vibration was bad enough I didn't want to keep driving. I exited i-70 in Byers, CO where I met a local ​ who mentioned John's service in Strasburg. I got a room in Byers, CO. Monday morning I cautiously drove to John's. As the tech started working to find the problem, my thoughts were initially a bad wheel bearing, the tech found loose lug nuts!! He tightened up and checked all wheels, which were all good. I paid $35 and tipped the tech and we were back on the road headed for Florida. We managed to get the car to Kats-Kevin Auto shop and thought they could fix the issue since they knew EXACTLY what was wrong. Alan, the mechanic we worked with the first day, promised he was going to order a new pump, get it swapped out, and good to get back on the road by noon the next day. We get to the shop around noon as promised and Alan tells us he does not do what he said he was going to do. Instead, he simply did an oil change thinking that would fix the issue. No call or anything about the change of plans. We get on the road and car goes out again. Instantly take it back to the shop so they could do what they originally said they were going to do. We had to wait a few more hours for them to finally get it fixed. A week goes by and the car dies on us again. We take it to the nearest auto shop and they diagnosed the car with the same issue, low pressure fuel pump. After the new shop completed the job, they showed us the pump that was on the car from Kats Kevin's and it did not look new whatsoever. We paid for an oil change and for a fuel pump to be replaced when an oil change wasn't even needed and the replacement wasn't done properly. This place is horrible and scammed us out of money. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

On the way home it was obvious the problems still existed. Check engine light still on, brakes were so hard it continued to roll even after mashing down on them as hard as possible. Very dangerous situation. Can not drive without brakes and it could have turned into a very dangerous situation. They are going to get someone killed. My neighbor warned me about this company and I should have listened. All I needed was an oil…read morechange. They botched that and our car emptied out of oil in the middle of nowhere. We had it towed to the nearest dealership. They checked it out and refilled the oil. Said that the engine still ran. But it ran rough, getting worse and worse over the course of a couple months. We took it to the local dealership, who found a bunch of metal in the oil pan and said that we needed a new engine.  Burroughs agreed to replace the engine, but held on to our vehicle for SIX MONTHS. They must have been looking for the cheapest thing they could dump on me because the new engine feels like a garbage disposal compared to the silk that the old one was.  To add insult to injury, they broke the driver's side window and left it poorly covered, exposed to the dust and weather. And it looks like they banged another vehicle into the back of our car, denting and scratching the rear door.  When my fiancée picked up the car, the owner, Mike, was rude and dismissive to her, shrugging off responsibility for the window and not even mentioning the rear damage.  His obnoxious attitude of acting like he's doing us a big favor while taking as little responsibility as possible was infuriating.
