Received a card in the mail for free gel set, at first I thought wow, nothing is free, but I walked in my appointment was with the new owner Ellen, she did such a great job and was such a nice person, she didn't even try to upsell me on anything. Normally I have a very hard time keeping on tips, and dip it lifts which is why I waited a week to do this review and so far do good! She also gave a great shoulder massage! And when leaving she gave me a hug!! The only thing I hope the owner does in time is maybe some renovations to refresh it a little, which is why I didn't give 5 stars. read more

I had a horrible experience today at this place that really couldn't care less about their customers. Considering that they had a large sign requesting positive reviews from people to "build their online presence", I would probably make sure I offer at least good service... I asked for a basic manicure today to give my nails and break from Gel, they refused saying that they have no time for a "basic manicure". There were only two customers. Definitely my last time at a place that's fishing for money, not service. There are so many other wonderful nail places in the area. read more

I went to get a pedicure and the woman broke my nail. She continued to file it slanted and rounded where all of my nails are square. She then starts to speak Spanish to another employee, not realizing some of us are bilingual! Another staff member came over and offered to put gel on it. Not in a matter of "sorry", it was as if I was the bother. No apology. I have been coming here for many years, and this place has just gone down hill. Constant new staff and too many that are inexperienced. You made that my last time. read more

Went in a while ago and never got around to posting a review, but I I figured I might as well do so now. I had an appointment for an acrylic set, and still had leftover acrylic on my nails from a previous mani. The first thing my nail tech did when she sat me down was to remove the acrylic overlay since I wanted a new set, which was fine--until it became extremely painful. My nails were pretty damaged at this point but instead of stopping and trying a different method of removal when I was noticeably wincing/withdrawing my hand in pain, she just kept dremeling. She was very rough with my nails, and I ended up with soreness and swelling around my cuticles. I also felt like I was being rushed the entire way through and my tech didn't seem to care whether she was filing over my finger or not. She ended up becoming visibly impatient and annoyed, and at the end when I pointed out that she had missed a detail of the evil eye design she rolled her eyes at me and sighed. She didn't allow my nails enough time to dry, and some of the colors bled onto the rest of my nail when she applied the top coat. My nails did turn out alright--not that it mattered, since most of my nails ended up just breaking off within a week. The entire mani took around 2 hours even with how much she was rushing me, and on top of it all I was charged $145 FOR A SINGLE MANI. Horrible experience. read more

The girls giving the pedicures are great - I would definitely give them 5 stars. However, the man who greets you (owner??) is so rude to the girls working at the salon - it is actually uncomfortable to watch. So much that I'm not sure if I will be able to return and give him business any longer. Also he rarely has the air conditioner on so it is boiling hot in there. read more

This is my favorite spot for pedicures always super relaxing and they really go the extra mile. I'm on my feet a lot for work and my feet really show it so when I mentioned to the owner I was looking for an additional massage she was able to make several different recommendations at different price points. They also gave me a heated shoulder pad to help relieve tension in my back while I was getting my nails done. Everything is very clean and they use a lot of single use products so you don't have to worry about if everything is properly sanitized. I also really enjoyed the fact that it doesn't smell like a ton of chemicals, massage chairs are very comfortable, and my toes look super cute! read more

I used to go to this salon all the time and thought they had the best pedicures around. Today was not a good day-- apparently they have had a lot of turnover. The woman who was doing my nails filed them in such a way as there was a noticeable dip in every nail and some were just plain slanted. I have been getting my nails done for 40 years and this was a first for me. She began speaking in Spainish to another manicurist about how difficult I was being and I cautioned her about what she was saying because I understood what she was saying. I left the salon without getting my nails finished but paid for it with the gift certificate I had. Needless to say things have changed and not for the better. read more

Worst, racist and rudest Owners!. I don't understand by what standard do they measure the clients when they come in for services.. But they do, trust me!!!!. Went with my friends in casuals since was getting mani/ pedi, and the way they treated us was obnoxious. I asked about their Gel mani and the owner said: Dont bother, its not for you! Who in the world says these things to your clients. At this same time my friend who was drying her nails, unfortunately got her paint messed up as she was moving her hand out of the dryer. Owner was so mad and said, if it happens again, they wont fix it. WORST experience.. First time there was Saturday with my daughter. I must say I was really impressed with their pedicure and manicure. They didn't rush through the process and tipped it off the with the hot stone massage on your feet/legs and the soothing hot oil treatment on your heals. The guy who greeted us at the front desk was very helpful in matching my gel mani color with my regular pedi color. So far so good!! read more

My mother lives about half a mile from this salon so the convenience of this place is the first plus for her. She has never had any issues with this place. They are consistent and have never turned her or I away even when we have walked in and not made an appointment. The owners are always friendly and prompt. The pedicure is good as long as there is not a big line waiting for pedicures. I would go on an off hour so they can take their time and so you can enjoy the full experience. A pedi + mani is about 32 dollars which is average for the area. I do not know what it is, but NJ seems to provide less bang for your bucks when it comes to nail salons. I was recently in Atlanta and for a mani + pedi which is $30 you get a glass of wine, warming pads on your hands, and a full sea salt scrub. All this for only the basic package. There was also TVs playing HGTV everywhere so you were entertained the whole time instead of just having to read a magazine. Therefore, CC definitely delivers for the area but if they want to step up their game they should provide some extra add ons like they do in other states. Some of the girls are super nice but some seem like they would rather be anywhere else. Your service definitely depends on which girl you get. They also offer other services such as back massages. I once had one and it was pretty good for a nail salon. They also have other services such as eyebrow waxes and other typical salon services. Rude staff. If you don't speak Spanish don't bother going to this place. Took my daughter and 2 friends to celebrate her birthday last night 9/26/2014, what it was supposed to be a fun night turned into a bad experience for my daughter and her friends. The staff were speaking Spanish the whole time, talking unkind things about my daughter and her friends (about their toes, about the color they picked), little they knew my daughter's friend understood everything they were saying because she also speaks Spanish. They also broke my daughters friend toe in half, I started to wonder if they even have their license to be doing this. If they don't speak English how would they have passed the NJ test? It's a fine salon, but very basic service for a high price. Pedicures are $30 but they don't do razor or Abby other really effective treatment for rough feet. If you have naturally smooth feet (right), they'd be great. Hot stones, nice massage, but not particularly effective. read more

The first time I went here was w/ my daughter. We got the mani/pedi combo for $48. She had been here previously- this was my first time. The service was great. No complaints. Loved the hot stones, and attention to detail for the pedi. The next time we went- all down hill. I called & scheduled an apt for myself, daughter , and husband, we were going on vacay and everyone wanted to be pampered. We get there, on the Saturday morning somehow, my husbands apt was missing- how is this possible. I made them all in one call, and I spoke directly with the owner ( the guy) After about 2 minutes of back and forth at the front desk, and him telling me " no he's not on the books" they decided to take him "anyway"- which I KNOW you will because he HAS an appt. The pedi - great however, my mani was awful. I think the girl did not put a top coat on my nails because the next day, I had this weird film on my nails ( I had white polish) and it wouldn't come off. All I had done was my hair, used some gel and my nails were ruined day ONE into my vacay. I have used this gel b4 on my hair when I've gotten my nails done from previous salons and my mani is fine, so I know it's not the hair product. I was very disappointed. Nails looked horrible while on vacay, couldn't wait to come home and take it off. My pedi, went strong & long. so not sure what happened with the mani. Not sure if I'm going back after the apt mishap and their tone at that front desk( nasty and condescending - and its too bad, my first visit was so pleasant.
