I was hoping for a more detailed pedicure, especially since I don't use polish, and I ended up needing to finish some of the work myself at home. The price was decent, but I wish I had known ahead of time that services like detailed cleaning and callus removal are considered add-ons and cost extra. Walked in for a pedicure today, which they accommodated. I thought the service was adequate, nothing special. Then I got home to show my husband my pedicure and noticed he never put the final shine coat on one of my big toes. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I've been going to Arya Nail for years, and had good, and bad manicures and pedicures (came home one time to discover that the tech had forgotten to even paint one of my toes). The last time I had a cateye gel manicure there my nails were cut and filed at an angle, and even though I asked for them to be round, they were square with a barely rounded edge. The tech failed to create an cateye effect, so even though I paid an upcharge, I only received a basic gel manicure. I spoke to the manager who apologized and said I could come back to have them fixed, but since I didn't have time I ended up having to fix them myself. Today I made an appointment on their website with a tech that I know does a good job. When I arrived for the appointment another tech came to get me, and I explained that I had an appointment with someone else. The receptionist told me that I should have indicated the tech's name in the notes on the site, instead of selecting him and confirming that's who the appointment is with, as their site requires. She told me he wasn't' available. I asked to speak to a manager, but he wasn't in. I told her I'd like to call him tomorrow when he is there, but she refused to give me his name. I will not go back, and will offer an apology to all of my friends and family that I've sent there for services. read more

Was very disappointed in my appointment. I had a gel manicure with Helen. She rushed through the appointment. I was told it would take almost an hour. It took 25 minutes. She did not ask how I wanted my nails shaped. I needed to tell her and and she did not even pay attention to me and still shaped them a different way she was very demanding on putting my hands under the UV light I didn't even have a second to get them there, they were closing at 7 o'clock. My appointment was at 6 She obviously was only thinking of rushing through because the salon was closing although there was plenty of time. I did not even get a moisturizing massage at the end just an overall bad experience, not relaxing whatsoever if anything very stressful I will never go back read more

I'm from out of town, was visiting for a wedding. Me and two other girlfriends did a walk in on a Friday morning 30 min after they opened. They were already packed which is a good sign in my book. Novia was my nail artist. I asked for gel-x, short almond shaped with black French tips. She killed it! I'm so happy with my nails. This nail spa is clean and inviting. I have been going here for a few years and the quality , cleanliness and attitude of the staff has sharply declined. Recently, I have had multiple rude staff to myself and my daughter , as well as gel nails chipping and cracking quickly after the service . The final straw was when a technician, Ivy, did not soak my daughter's acrylics off. Instead she used an old metro card to rip them off her nails. Beware, this place is unsanitary and rude. New salon opened about six months ago. Walked in and got someone immediately but it was Friday afternoon at 3 so I'm sure it'll get busy later. I had a design in mind and showed JoJo the picture. I felt so bad because the process turned out more difficult than I thought. However she didn't give up. She kept trying and consulted her fellow technicians and finally got something similar to what I wanted. With your manicure it also comes with a 2 min neck/shoulder massage which is a treat. They have a rewards system that accumulates points to redeem discounts. It's an actual card you buy for $1. The only thing I would like is maybe adding online scheduling and have the reward card online also to save me from carrying the card. One thing I also noticed is they offer kids prices for manicures and pedicures. I saw at least 3 little girls came in with their moms which was the cutest thing! read more

WOW. I think I finally found my go-to nail salon. I called and made a same-day appt on a Sunday for a pedicure, which I was thrilled they were able to accommodate. Once I arrived, I asked if they had time for a gel manicure, which they did. The man at the receptionist desk went over prices with me: $30 for a regular pedicure and $45 for a French gel manicure. I ended up going for a $50 French dip powder manicure since it doesn't require putting your hands under the UV light. Crystal was my nail technician for both services. A good thing to note is that they use plastic liners for the tubs and the pedicure tools come packaged in a brand new, sanitized packet. The salon itself is very clean! I ended up upgrading to a $40 honey & coco spa pedicure, which included a 10 minute massage (on a timer) and hot stones. It was very relaxing! Moving on to the manicure, I came with bare nails, so there wasn't a removal process in my case. Crystal did a great job manicuring my nails & cuticles and overall just prepping them for the dip powder. She took her time and was very meticulous about getting the French lines perfect, which I appreciated. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the final results for both my spa pedicure and dip powder manicure were outstanding. I went here for a long time, but unfortunately cannot anymore. I went in for a dip manicure. The tech cut my finger (more than a nick, it needed multiple paper towels to stop the bleeding). I understand accidents happen, but no apology was given at any point by the tech or the manager. It was cleaned, but they were still going to proceed with the dip powder, which made me uncomfortable because the powder would get in the bloody finger. I was told it would not. I asked to switch to gel instead so we wouldn't have the issue. Eventually, they agreed. At the end of the service, I was told $35, the full price of a gel manicure. At this point I was frustrated, and asked for a discount considering I was just injured. I was told I was already getting a discount because they should have charged me for switching from dip to gel but they didn't. When I explained that that isn't really a discount in this scenario I was told that they usually tell customers to not move when they are using the drills- I was not moving. Eventually they went down to $28, but still never apologized for the cut. The manager refused to make eye contact with me throughout the discussion and it felt really disheartening how they handled the situation. I fully understand that mistakes happen, but it could have been handled a lot better. read more

Giving an updated review after going here for the last six months and couldn't be happier. There are plenty of other nail salons closer to my house but I drive 20 minutes to go to Arya nail salon. I get dip nails and sometimes painted toenails. I always call in advance to make an appointment with my favorite manicurists. Even went here with the moms and bridesmaids before my wedding and we had a great time. They are super clean, do a great job with the nails, and always have staff available. I was a first time customer last week and stumbled across Arya Nail Lounge when looking at the work of salons in the area since I just moved from North Jersey. I saw that they did beautiful designs and decided on them when looking at pictures of their work. Other salons I looked at either didn't do designs or didn't do them to the level I saw Arya does and I never do just plain polish. I went to Nicole and, as the pictures show, she absolutely nailed the design I wanted. In fact, I think mine might be better than my reference picture! I've been going to Arya for about 4 months now. After having a few average services, I started making appointments with Ivy. Ivy is fantastic with gel manicure and fill. I received a gift card for Christmas and made an appointment over the phone for a particular day time (day off from work). The shop called to confirm and changed my appointment with Ivy from 1pm to 2pm without my agreement. Eventually he (the employee) admitted they double booked. Zero apology. When I questioned it, he said we have many people that work here and it happens. So I agreed to 2pm. I have a problem with 1. having my appointment changed without acknowledging they made a mistake. 2. no apology. Since I like Ivy and the look of the salon, I'll keep going...for now. read more

The salon is nice and I enjoy the fact that they have a rewards program. However, I got dip nails and one of them cracked the night of (I had gotten them done that morning). So the next day I went in and asked them to fix it, and the woman made sure to tell me "they don't crack on their own usually, but we'll fix it this time" although the nail DID in fact crack on its own. Fast forward ONE week and there are 4 other nails that have cracks in them, 3 of them I did not notice when or how they cracked and the 4th one I was simply putting on my shoe and I felt the nail crack where there was normal/light pressure. Not sure if they didn't apply the dip nails correctly, or skipped a step in the process but I am VERY disappointed as I spent 85 dollars in there last weekend. Also, I am hesitant to go back and ask for them to be fixed as they were not very pleasant when I went back to fix the one that cracked the day of. Terrible customer service in my opinion and doesn't seem to be very good product they are using either considering I have 5 cracked nails within one week of leaving the salon. read more

The best nail salon I've ever been to hands down. Accommodating, attentive, everyone and every technician is great, they are precise and make sure to smooth out your nails and not leave bumps.
