They sure do care...about getting paid. When I called to set up an appointment they spent 20…read moreminutes on the phone collecting my insurance info, billing info, backup insurance info and oh, yeah my issue. Then they spammed me online with the same insurance questions, super long health surveys, hippa disclosure and boilerplate liability waivers. Oh, and attach pictures of insurance cards. Later that day I get a phone call asking for more photos of insurance cards. Next morning I get another call. Can I come in early? Well, did you receive my referral, xray and have my insurance info ok? Um, dunno, can you come in earlier? When I arrive for my "consultation" appointment they ask for my payment information, identification, want to make copies of my insurance cards (4th time if you're counting). Then they wisk me into the x ray room. Why, I ask, since my dentist sent my day old xray to you? Well, we need a panoramic x-ray they say. Thanks for exposing me to more radiation and unnecessary medical procedures! A pano was not needed and could've been requested from my dentist. Then comes the dds... we'll pull the teeth out, do you want a local or be put out? I say, how's the xray look? Umm, its fine says he. Local or general? Hmm So now the insurance lady shows up. Well, your dental wont cover a general, that'll be $1200 out of pocket. Great, local is fine. Ok, so how are we paying today? $150 out of pocket for the xray he didn't look at and scheduled the appointment. At this point I have spent 4 hours across several days answering the same questions over and again. Not so much as a minute on my medical condition. That's what pain to expect before the actual procedure. Good luck and God Bless!

When Dr. Petrunich came in, he checked the tooth and quickly said that it looks as it hasn't fully grown out yet (not true as my referring dentist informed otherwise and I saw my xrays). I heard him whisper something to the dental assistant behind me. That made me feel very uncomfortable, made me wonder why he would whisper in the presence of a patient. He then began injecting numbing medicine. He gave me three injections (waited about a minute between each one. I had the feeling he was rushing as it was late in the afternoon) and numbing never happened. He eventually said he was going to tug on it a little to see if I would feel anything; it hurt as if metal was being pulled through my tooth. He then said that he is going to have to reschedule so they could put me to sleep. I have had several dental surgeries done in the past and never put to sleep or given anything to calm me. Ever since he pulled on my wisdom tooth, I have had random ear pain on that same side. I left Petrunich's office and scheduled an appointment with another dental surgeon I had seen in the past, even though he was now out of network. He immediately popped the wisdom tooth out within minutes. Never felt any pain or aches afterwards either.

Without a doubt, this is the best atmosphere for a dentist office that I've ever experienced! From…read morethe moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with smiling faces, a beautifully renovated office with the most modern technology in dentistry and even a 75 gallon freshwater aquarium! What better way to help you relax before a stressful dentist visit than to sit back and watch the fish swimming around. Better yet, if you have children, it's a great way to help distract them while you're waiting. Just pull up a chair next to the tank and let them get lost in the underwater world! Dr. Adey is a kind-hearted and hard working soul, who absolutely wants nothing but the best for his patients and staff. He is very intelligent, patient and helps explain everything going on during your visit and his attention to detail is second to none! The thoughtful and joyful assistants working with him are top notch and make you feel remembered every time you come back. They will surely have you laughing during your visit to help distract you from any worry. The entire team works well together and has a common goal to make everyone's experience the best it can be. The area surrounding the office is safe within the heart of Kennett Square with plenty of food/shopping options for you to enjoy before or after your visit. What more can you ask for in a dentist office! Hands down one of the best dentists in the entire Philadelphia area.

If you want to lose teeth for no reason, then this is the place for you!…read more Despite letting Dr.Adey know that one of your teeth is really bothering you, let it turn into an untreated infection and end up having to have it pulled and be in bed for a year (not kidding the pain pus fatigue and sinus infections are real!!!! Also eww--this could've totally been avoided.) because you don't know it, but your dentist knew you had an infection in that tooth--go to this practice! I have been in pain since late May (it's almost Christmas now)! I've been to the office twice within two weeks, within days of realizing something was really wrong--and they could've done SOMETHING. Given an antibiotic? No. Everything got much worse. If you want to pay for two visits, an emergency & a cleaning that cost around $400+ each and only have a $34,000 treatment plan handed to you and an X-ray done in those two appointments (no cleaning) then he's your guy! My new dentist is amazing. My real treatment plan price is $5,000, and much cheaper. There are much better dentists in the area. And out. If like me, you know have a complicated dental situation go to Innovative Dental! (YouTube!) I hate to be a Grinch and write this.. seriously I feel horrible... but given everyone in my life wants me to file a ...complaint, let's call it, that I have the paperwork to win in an instant I am not that rude of a human. I don't want that negativity. I just don't want what happened to me to happen to some other people!!! Believe it or not I have more stories but humans are humans and everyone's entitled to a mistake or two... or three..? Or at some point is it on the dentist? Especially when you've been taking good care of your dental health? Just remember, if you are in your late twenties have someee dry mouth but good dental hygiene (just recently had your first cavity) & want to have two (regular!) teeth pulled--here's your office. If you want to be waiting for an appointment for a painful crack in your tooth you got from your infected tooth running/moving into it (and then needing an orthodontist and not having a "bite") and are willing to go to the dentist twice and have nothing done but an X-ray (that cost more than most offices) and then ask when you can book to fix said painful (mentally & physically) problem.. (I have lost so much sleep since May 2020 when I started seeing this dentist I can't even begin to explain...) and are told in the beginning of June that you could be seen in September, maybe August (saying you will make time to come in anytime during their hours!), then this is your place. If you want to get records sent over to your new dentist and also a receipt that has lies written on it (apparently I had 6 no call no shows, a few in the same day!). Apparently I didn't not pay some bills, someone else did? ‍ Then this is the dentist for you! This is the dentist for nobody!!!!!!!! Please, parents--don't let your child's dental health get messed up! All humans! Please I am not writing this to be spiteful, I truly am not--I am only telling the absolute truth and not even all of it... he misses things, even things you point out! Then before you know it your embarrassingly at the oral surgeon twice in a year!? Aye. Hard not to write all of the other things that have happened to me. My friend also had to spend $27,000 fixing problems from this dentist. Please don't let what happened to me happen to you!!! And this office way overcharges, to to a nicer one with an award winning dentist even if you just go for cleanings! Believe me you don't want to have to go through getting your wisdom teeth out twice because they forgot one. Go to a place that puts money into their practice! Check out your smile destination .com Oh, and if I could give this no stars I wouldn't--I would give this establishment negative stars.

I wondered if it was to cover the screams of the patients. After 45 minutes of waiting, I was very overstimulated. The other 2 patients in the waiting room with me agreed. When I was finally escorted back, I asked the woman what was with the insanely loud music. She smiled and said, "We always play loud music." I waited in the chair for a few minutes, and heard the doctor down the hall laugh and say, "Well, I'll just turn it up, then!" He came into the room and asked how I was. I joked that I was a bit deaf from the music, but otherwise ok. I said that I had been expecting some relaxing spa type music. He said, "Well I've only had 3 patients complain about it in 5 years." I said, "Oh, well you must have some very kind patients who don't speak up about it." He said "It's a hippa thing." I gave him a skeptical look and said I'd been in many doctor's offices, all of which have hippa laws, and never heard loud music for privacy's sake. He said, "Don't blame me for your anxiety!" As another reviewer here said, VERY condescending. Medical conditions are not something a doctor should joke about, and even people who normally don't have anxiety are likely to experience it when faced with surgery. I said "I didn't have any anxiety until I sat through this jarring music for 45 minutes. Why are you such a D!*k?" I decided there was no way a man with this big of an ego and absolutely no willingness to hear other people's opinions was getting anywhere near me with a scalpel. I said "I think we're done here" and got up out of the chair. He started laughing to the women in the office across the hall. I said "Do you really think that's funny, or are you trying to save face with your employees?" He said "You can leave now." I assured him there was no way I would stay, and thanked the kind women in the office. The woman in the lobby said that her wife must be one of the only other three patients who complained about it in 5 years, so pretty doubtful that two of the three happened on the same day. I'm sure some people do love it, but those who don't should be able to express that and be heard, not talked down to and accused of a disorder. I don't care how good of a surgeon you are if you're not a decent person.
