I initially booked an appointment here for extension consultation after following them on social media back in 2022 when Alex did my hair and Kayla did my makeup for a wedding I was standing up in and they blew me away! I wasn't the bride but could have been with the care and precision with which they executed my look for the day. After that wedding I began following them both and their business page and when Alex posted looking for clients wanting to try vivid colors paired with extensions I jumped on it. That was August 2024 and I haven't looked back since! She initially did an amazing sunset themed color using custom dyed Envie hand tied weft extensions that had me getting compliments everywhere I went! Since then she has somehow managed to outdo herself with every change in color! These extensions are the real deal. They move with you instead of you having to move around them. They make wearing your hair up a realistic possibility which can be difficult with extensions. I'm now on my second set of 24" extensions and it is the one luxury that I keep indulging in! This time she took me back to my roots with a deep brown/black base with intermixed calico-inspired extensions (blonde/auburn). To say I feel like a goddess every time I walk out of there is an understatement. Pricing is fair and you're always given a realistic timeline for appointments. Alex is so easy to chat with throughout my appointment and Kayla (boss lady) and the rest of the gals are always so welcoming and sweet! It was incredibly frustrating that they didn't take credit cards, and that this wasn't very clear on their website. I went here for Sabrina Tucker. Without her, there wasn't a lot of redeeming aspects of the salon. While waiting for an appointment, I was asked to move so they could take a photo of a different client's hair. It felt weird, and like they should have a designated spot for photos that would require asking waiting clients to move. It honestly made me feel less valuable than the person be photographed (I was asked to move across the room). Also, the more I think about it, the more upset I am that when my partner came in for a men's haircut from Kevin, he left INJURED. That's not OK. I mentioned it to the front desk staff when at my appointment after the last update, and I didn't even get an apology. Not OK. Not OK at all.
