Gwen does a fantastic job on her tans and lashes! The tanning solution she uses is perfect and the lashes are absolutely gorgeous. She has quite the talent for both. Tanning- You will look natural, not have that awful tan smell, it doesn't rub off on sheets and clothing, you can even shower within a couple hours without loosing color. She comes with a pop up tent so you can be sprayed anywhere inside or outside without getting the tanning solution all over. Gwen makes sure you're completely comfortable and explains the entire process to you before she begins. I'd say the tan lasts a solid week without any fading (I find that moisturizing after showering helps retain your color and not spending too much time in a pool or bath). Even after the tan begins to fade it's such a natural color that you can barley tell, you want be blotchy and splotchy like with some tans. Lashes- O M G lashes are to die for. She will do them as dramatic or as natural as you want. I really baby my lashes when she does them (washing around the eye area very carefully, not wearing a drop of mascara, trying to not sleep on my face) I've actually had them last for almost 5 weeks (like I said baby them)! I was skeptical about airbrush tanning because I have had some horrible experiences with the machines at tanning salons. I always had streaks and my hands would come out so blotchy! I took the chance with Faux Glaux and I have to say I am now addicted. I absolutely LOVED my tan and Gwen! The spray tans themselves were good however, Gwen booked the wrong appointment date and was unable to provide her tan services for a wedding I was attending. Normally it wouldn't have been a big deal but it was a family wedding. I tried at the last minute to run and find another place. Gwen apologized and offered a free tan. When I tried to receive the tan, Gwen did not make good on her word. Although it was a long time in between sessions, it was very unprofessional not to keep her word and try to keep a customer over 1 spray tan. It's a shame bc the tans were nice but I guess her customers are easily replaceable. Really sucky customer service. Not the way to treat paying customers. read more

I was referred to Gwen the week I planned to leave for Miami - I had planned to schedule a spray tan but lost track of time. I wanted to avoid a machine spray at all costs so I posted a Facebook status for help and referrals for a "hand" sprayer and 9/10 suggestions (from all different groups of friends) was Gwen! Even with such short notice, Gwen somehow fit me in her schedule and came to me! I had 2 bachelorette parties within 3 weeks of each other and only 2 weeks after the second bachelorette party were the weddings (back to back weekends!) - I got a total of 4 tans by Gwen. With the sprays being so close I was worried my tan would start to look blotchy or turn orange, but that was certainly NOT the case. My tan looked just as good the 4th day as it did the first!! I was a golden brown and was very happy with how naturally tan I looked, especially in pictures. The results of each tan lasted at least 7 full days. if not longer.
