Bad bad business. I'm so disappointed. I paid money to have my son's guitar fixed and sold in the…read moreshop but after months of it sitting and not being sold we brought it home. My son played it once and it broke. The owner then called me 4 days later and told me I owe more money for the repairs. That was never discussed beyond what I already paid. I told him initially I was not putting any more money into the guitar than what was paid and in fact what we had discussed was not even fixed properly. He then accused my son of maybe doing something to break the guitar. No sir. Very bad business. You should be ashamed of yourself and maybe talk to your repair men to make sure they know what they're doing. How dare you send back a broken guitar and call asking for more money!!!! I'm the one who lost money. Poor repair and poor business. Never again.

Today was the final straw. After the owner insults me and my child in front of several customers by blaming us for the the instrument that has not been repaired properly. Instead of any kind of customer service and apologies he acts like he's doing us a favor. Refused to refund the broken instrument he sold me. I would recommend you go anywhere else for your music needs. I honestly don't expect much from a music store and this place really is the bottom.

Stop by this place since my boyfriend want to get cajon bag to protect his instrument. Upon…read morearrival, a group of staff were talking to each other and not paying attention who is coming. My boyfriend and I were walking around in aisle looking for the cajon bag many times. No one came to assist us. We try to flag the staff down in front by waving our hands and the group of staff ignored our needs as they were testing out a new guitar joking around. I literally had to call at them and one of them look like they are tired of their job. The girl with a black ponytail asked, what do you want looking pissed off because she had to break away from her group. The attitude is no good from her. She said go inside the cajon room and it will be there, immediately went back talking with the group. The fact that I had to wave and call at them loudly to get their attention is such a big disgrace. I never have to do that before at any Guitar Center I've been to in Montebello or Riverside. All I really want is for the staff to help me when my boyfriend is trying to purchase something for his instrument. After my boyfriend purchase the item, the girl cashier who has straight blonde hair went straight to talking to her coworkers. I mean, come on I had to call her out where is my receipt? Her face is so mad at me just because I asked for my receipt. What if the bag is broken or my boyfriend do not like it? Like what people say if you don't do your job properly, you will do it twice. The overall customer service experience at this location is relatively bad. The company needs to learn how to train their employees on how to become active at customer service. I understand how there are slow days but become considerate toward customers. We are the one who put sales into your business so it is running smoother.
