I walked through the whole store looking through most of the racks and not once did they acknowledge I was there. Once I got to a rack near the counter I even asked how they were doing and neither one even looked my way. I was pretty hard to miss since my 6'5 husband was with me and we were talking the entire visit. I never write reviews but I felt very disrespected to the point I didn't even purchase a dress I had found because I did not want to force them to interact with me. And although I didn't purchase anything, the staff is friendly and knowledgable about all the products they offer. Now let's be honest, do I think it's a tad bit hipster? Of course. Should I drop the word 'Lumbersexual' in this review? Well, I just did. However, I'm truly happy Johnson City has a store like this and the folks behind it have a great story. The Fouled Anchor has gotten their flag and planted it firmly on Mount Masculinity and I love it. It is the epitome of manliness and Ron Burgundy would be pleased. As am I. Last visit this young fella went around and ask EVERYONE around me if they needed help, and not me. She was so helpful that there was no walking pass her with merchandise out the door without paying. So sucks to lose business because of service, but service is very important to me.
