After seeing my girlfriend's maternity shoot photos a couple of years ago I knew I wanted to use CM Elle Studios for a future shoot because everything was perfection. I will say it was hard to judge because my friend happens to be drop dead gorgeous but seriously, her photos were amazing. Not to mention the raving remarks that she had to say about how great it was to work with Christina. Here I am a few years later and I finally had the opportunity to try her out myself to take family photos and a pregnancy announcement. From the time that I reached out to Christina communication was easy. She was straightforward with pricing and making sure she was the right fit for my family and me. When we met for the first time during our shoot in Napa I wasn't expecting to vibe with someone so well. My husband and daughter both agreed that Christina made it so fun and effortless - we were probably laughing just about the entire time =) ! She guided all of us on what she thought would look best and how we should place our hands and our heads and our everything lol. I appreciated the direction - there's nothing worse than a photographer not telling you that your hand looks awkward or that your hair is out of place. I was lucky enough to have Christina do my Engagement Photos, Boudoir session, and wedding photos. I am beyond stunned by all Christina's work, and I am in absolute love with all of my photos. This review is specifically for the boudoir session. Getting prepared for my wedding, I knew this is something I REALLY wanted to do for my future husband. Actually getting behind the camera, and following through is where I wasn't sure if I had the guts to actually do this. However, after looking at a ton of Christina's boudoir photos on her website, and how amazingly beautiful and classy all of these women looked I knew I needed to do this & she needed to by my photographer. In the weeks/months prior to my session Christina helped me choose several outfits that complimented my body-type and gave my all sorts of ideas for colors, textures, jewelry, etc. When it came time for the actual session, I was so insanely nervous! However, as soon as I walked through the doors of her awesome studio, her energy completely lit up the room and I felt instantly comfortable. She is so fun to work with, makes you feel amazing, and really coaches you on how to pose to look your best. You might feel silly with some of the poses, but the second you see her work, you will understand why she made you laugh out loud like a lunatic or stick your chin so far out. The ordering session was so much fun as well, she brings up all of the images on her large flat screen for you to choose your favorites. (In my case, that was all of them) You decided what you want, how many, etc. She has lots of options for different packages! I first met Christina and found that she was a photographer that did amazing wedding and senior student photos. I began to follow her on Facebook and Instagram while keeping in touch with her. I saw that she opened her own studio and was shooting boudoir photos. I have always wanted to do a boudoir session and have looked at a number of photographers offering these types of photos. I was hesitant to book anyone as I never found exactly what I was looking for. I booked a session with Christina in January 2017. In addition to the photo session, Christina arranged for my hair and make-up to be done. I went to Christina's studio on the day of the shoot. I was nervous but Christina brought me into her wonderful studio and made me feel very comfortable. The hair/make-up artist was outstanding. I'm so glad she works with Christina. When I was ready, Christina took over and I could tell she really knows what she is doing. She posed me, gave me direction on how to look my best and made me feel like a real model! The session lasted 2+ hours in which I wore all of my outfits and used dozens of poses. Her studio has furniture (couch, bed, chair) and Christina uses some simple props to add interesting elements to the photos. A couple of weeks later, I went to Christina's studio to pick out the photos I wished to purchase. I was in awe of all of the photographs. Christina did a phenomenal job and I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of my photos. I could not be happier that I picked Christina for my boudoir session. She is an amazing artist and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a photographer. I have been wanting to do a boudoir shoot for a few years but couldn't find a photographer I loved. Searching Instagram one evening I stumbled upon Christina's site and fell in love with the composure of her photos! Christina was prompt with her correspondence while we worked to schedule an appointment and she had a hair and makeup gal to recommend. I had no idea who I was going to go to for hair/makeup so that was a huge relief! Leading up to our appointment, Christina was available via email and text to provide feedback on my outfit selections and confirmed my hair/makeup appointment (talk about a custom experience!). The morning of our shoot I knew I was in experienced hands and working with a quality team when the makeup artist mentioned certain tricks she uses when working with Christina, per her specific request, to ensure small details within the photos come out a certain way! My daughter received the best senior model experience photo shoot ever with Christina at C.M.Elle Studios. Approximately 6 years ago my daughter met Christina in dance class and discovered that she was shooting senior photos. She followed her work on social media and shared with me her desire to have her senior photo shoot with Christina. Our day Started off at our home with the hair and make up, matching outfits from edgy to casual elegance with some accessories. Destinations were also important to us. Some photos at home and most at my daughters grandparents vineyard just down the street. Even though I was the mom tagging along watching, and lending a hand when needed, it felt good being there to watch my daughter enjoy every moment. For me it was a mother and daughter experience. We had fun with the multiple outfit changes. Christina matched up a dainty dress with my daughters ballet pointe shoes and took the photos in the vineyard, so BREATHTAKING. From there an outfit change to a fun dress with a hat sitting in her grandfathers antique 53 MGTD convertible leading to another photo prop to enhance further family memories. Christina did a fabulous job at capturing my daughters personality and beauty. The next fun was going through the photos and getting an instant unison of oooh, aaaah, and OMG that is intense when the next photo came up on the slide show. I have known Christina for a while now. I did my first shoot with her almost 3 years ago, after really enjoying her work on social media. At this point, we didn't know each other but she made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She had great direction and was a lot of fun to work with. Fast forward to now, Christina recently shot a wedding I was in and the pictures came out AMAZING! I was so impressed with what she captured and how she captured it. Pictures are important for a wedding but being with friends and family is what it is all about and Christina was able to capture all of the family and bridal party pictures in a record time so that we could all go out and dance our butts off (which she also captured). When I got engaged, I tried to be a smart bride and look around but there was no comparison. We just had our engagement pictures with Christina and I think my fiance said it best, "I don't know how she made us look that good but she did a REALLY good job". Oh gosh where do I begin. I first met Christina via text messaging in July of 2014. I had just found out I was pregnant and a client of mine was getting her family photos done by Christina. First thing I did was look her up on Facebook and Instagram (I love researching, lol) and instantly fell in love with her work! I was really interested in doing a maternity photo session with my boyfriend and I since it was our first pregnancy. However, timing wasn't right and so I decided to not have Christina photograph me. Christina quickly contacted me and said it was a must that I have my pics taken since this was my first pregnancy and that the session was her gift to me (I mean, who does that?!)!! She has since done our family photos and my sons first birthday photo session. And I must say she is amazing, talented, a beautiful kind person and her work is impeccable! I had the the wonderful opportunity of working with Christina back in May. I wanted to surprise my husband with something for our wedding and decided to do a boudoir shoot. I looked around for photographers and absolutely fell in love with Christina's work, especially her Elle Division. It was sexy, classy, romantic, and it was exactly what I was looking for. I have to admit that once it was all booked I was nervous as much as I was excited. I knew that no matter what, my husband would love it but I was anxious thinking about wearing lingerie in front of someone I had never met before. DO NOT USE ANYONE ELSE! She is simply the best! My fiancé and I started using Christina when we were pregnant with our first daughter. I being pregnant knew I needed to remember the special time but was so unhappy (ladies you know what those hormones can do to you). On top of that, my fiancé is not a picture person...but we both sucked it up and booked a session. I was referred to Christina by 2 friends that had used her before, however I had never met her before our shoot. When we arrived to the shoot it was like we had known each other for years! She has a way of connecting with her clients and makes you feel so comfortable it is incredible. When I saw our pictures for the first time, I cried! I was so uncomfortable with the changes pregnancy had brought my body and seeing those pictures immediately made those feeling disappear! I have admired Christina's photos for a long time! I knew I wanted her to photograph my nursing graduation headshots even before I got into nursing school. As the time approached I became more and more nervous. I had major insecurities due to being a thick girl. I wasn't sure how I was going to photograph or if I was even going to be able to produce a good picture. Christina is very good with directions and tells you exactly what to do and how to do it. We did a lot of research in looking for the right photographer for our daughter's senior portraits. Christina was a perfect fit. Not only did she have someone that could do hair and makeup on the day of the photo shoot, she was also the perfect fashion consultant. From the time of booking, Christina worked with our daughter to determine her wants and desires. Prior to her sitting, Christina had our daughter send a few selfies of the outfits she was thinking about and made suggestions to enhance the look for the chosen settings. Not only that, when we got to the shoot, Christina pulled out hats, scarves, jewelry and lots of other goodies to help make the perfect outfit! Ok so I had to get on here and rave about Christina! My fiancé and I had our engagement session last night and it went so much better than we both anticipated! My day started with make up done by Gilda Haskins, who I know Christina uses a lot for her sessions and she absolutely made me feel gorgeous! She is really good at what she does! When I got home I couldn't believe how nervous I was! When got to the shoot location we took a shot or two to calms the nerves. I must admit it helped a lot. But once Christina got there and we went for our little trek to location we both felt at ease. Christina is VERY likable and made sure to just guide us through the whole process. We are not models by any means, but we certainly felt like we were once the shoot ended! She guided us through every pose and helped it feel natural. I will always remember the "ha ha" to get that great natural smile. We will absolutely be using her for our wedding photography next year and I hope I get to do a little boudoir shoot as well! I've wanted to do my senior pictures with Christina ever since I was in 7th grade when I heard about her photography business during one of her dance classes. Throughout the years I've been following Christina on social media and have admired her work. This has been one of the most enjoyable experiences throughout high school for me. And it's all because of Christina and her amazing skills. I never thought I would take Boudoir photos. All the ones I've seen before seemed tacky and too campy for me. So when my friend told me she was taking them and showed me Elle Division's Instagram, I was blown away. I had never seen photos like this - artistic, moody, subtlety sexy, timeless. I found myself constantly looking at her images. My anniversary was approaching, so it was the perfect time to take them. I did my senior session with Christina during the summer going into my senior year. Christina made me feel so comfortable in the environment. I had never done any professional pictures before so I didn't know what to expect, but Christina had told me she would capture all the best qualities of me and I feel as though she really did. I am not typically one to write reviews unless it is well deserved. Let me tell you, this lady deserves all the positive reviews she can get. Christina is WONDERFUL, and her photographs are like those out of magazines. I wanted a photographer who would not just capture staged photos of my son on his first birthday, but one who would capture our family's raw, true dynamics. We received this and more. I was so nervous going into the shoot, with a 1 year old and all. But I knew it would be a great experience as soon as I met Christina for the first time and my son adored her! I have had several photo shoots of my son throughout his life, but this was by far the most enjoyable, fun and successful shoot. Christina was patient, caring and so fun to work with.
