I want you to know this so that when I write, "I trust Family Tails Pet Sitters without reservation," you'll understand how big that is. I worked with Family Tails for about five years and couldn't have been happier. I wish I could have brought them with me when I relocated. They provided weekday walks, overnights, occasional weekend walks, whatever I needed. If you're lucky enough to work with Wilson, I envy you. He became the second dad my dogs never had. You won't be surprised that my three guys eat different kibble, get different treats, and have daily meds. And they're no joy to manage on a walk in good weather - bad weather is as bad as you're imagining. Wilson handled all of this without a single complaint. In fact, people in my neighborhood would occasional comment on how great he was with my guys (and how much better they behaved for him than for me). I started off just needing a walk here or a walk there. Pretty soon, though, I was using them multiple times a week because they were so good. I bet you'll have a similar experience.

We made the right decision. The folks at Family Tails were amazing. When we got back we had notes of what happened on every visit and how the kitties were doing. Our cats were so happy and in good spirits, which is not at all how they usually are when we have gone out of town in the past. You can tell that they really care about these animals, and they get to know their personalities and likes and dislikes. I would love to use Family Tails for any of my future pet sitting needs, but unfortunately I moved across the country and they don't make house visits in Seattle. :( I can easily recommend them to anyone.

It was easy to schedule a "meet and greet" with Amy and Andrew, who are visiting our two dogs (a quiet 9-year old and a 5-year old with attitude; both sighthounds) about 3 times a week. Since then Amy and Andrew have taken care of our pups for the past month or so. They are both responsible and have the kind of calm personality that all dogs feel comfortable being around. They've followed all our instructions, provided very detailed updates and pictures, and taken good care of our doggies. So far I am very pleased with the service. We love our dogs like children and feel good about entrusting Amy and Andrew with their care.

I had ask that they only provide me with one one of their walkers that I had for the first 18 months, at least twice a week if possible. Their final response was " she is rarely available during the times I requested" ... I mean for the first 18 months she was available , and now she was not.... After numerous attempts to remedy this, they decided (Customer Service Agent Becca) to cut me and my dogs loose. I contacted them to give them "NOTICE"; that I would be looking for another service. I am a senior citizen wtih Dystolic Heart Failure. What a way to treat a senior citizen.. Terrible service... And the owner, did nothing, even though on her web page she states "If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with our service, we will correct it right away and offer a money-back guarantee". I did a lot of Googling and Yelping as it was hard to find a pet sitter that dealt with cats. I reached out to Furry Walks and they promptly responded back to me and then Andre, with FW&W, called. We talked for a few minutes and arranged an in-house visit where he could meet my cat and I could tell him about what he needs from a care perspective. When it actually came time for the sit Andre sent me an email every day summarizing how the cat was doing/acting and also included pictures. I have a very high-strung emotionally needy cat and he was more than willing to humor me with brushing and rubbing the cat. Overall I would highly recommend! The only complaint I have is that they did not mention there is a small surcharge for a weekend pet sit. It was only $5, though,and wouldn't have made me change my mind had I known in advance. And they were still more than worth it.
