Last…read moreyear, we got surprised with a tax bill that was about 50% higher than we'd paid the year previously. When we asked about the steep increased amount, we were told that we'd be given a 15% discount for being long-time clients of the firm. The discount amount was quoted at 5% vs. 15% we were just told we'd be given. It was not a promising start with the new owners for both the price hike and not being able (or willing) to calculate a discount amount correctly. Went elsewhere.
