I came in yesterday to get a pedicure with my mother-in-law and it was a horrible experience. I've been to CT many times before, but it seems like all the good nail techs have left. I had a heavier set woman with dark hair that was dyed blonde in some places, I did not catch her name, however she was horrible. First, she asked me if the water was too hot and I told her it was actually cold. She adjusted it and then it still remained cold. I paid for the Tropical Pedicure which included callus removal, but all that was used was jelly and a pumice stone and all calluses are still present even after I asked her to do whatever she needed to do make sure they are all gone because I wear heels for work and my feet needed the extra mile. For $77 with 20% tip this is just crazy to me. Then, when she was opening the new packet of tools to perform the pedicure she dropped an instrument on the ground (which was dirty as heck) and picked it back up, didn't sanitize it and it had other peoples hair hanging off it, which she used her gloved hand to remove and yet she continued with the dirty tool anyway. During the nail polish process she started out by wearing gloves, and then decided to take the gloves off and use her own finger nails to dig the pooling nail polish from my toenails. I walked out with streaky off-white nails from poor application, and my pinky toe on my right foot has so much polish on that it looks like a huge glob sitting on top of my toenail. Took my daughter to get her nails done on Friday since her birthday party was on Saturday. She was turning 7 years old. I did regular polish since I did not want to send her to school with such dark strong colors. First I was charged $35 ok I'm a regular customer there but I've payed $80 for a nail fill and polish on my toes gel on both. So $35 for a regular polish go a 7 year old yikes. But the next morning the polish on her toes had completely came off and some of her fingers were damaged. In the pictures you can see when we left my sister even carried her so her nails would not get damaged. I went the next day without my daughter since I had no time to take her again (that's why I took her on Friday) I was told by the owner nothing could be done that she was a baby and she could of been picking on them ‍ $35 dollars and this is what I got wow. Me and my mom will never be going back. Beware it might be do to over acetone polish being dry and old. I would know I'm a nail tech ‍ that likes to get pampered and wanted her daughter to be pampered for her birthday. read more

Avoid this location at all costs. There have been two times now where they upcharged my wife without warning. The nail technicians pretend like they don't understand you when you are speaking to them. Today my wife went to get a manicure and pedicure. She asked for a basic pedicure and manicure with no color. They did a poor job on the manicure and pedicure, leaving jagged edges. At the end of it, they told my wife the total was $118, for a "basic" manicure and pedicure with no color? When she asked why so expensive they daid they upgraded her to the most expensive one but still no color. Ridiculous! STAY AWAY from this place unless you like throwing your money away. I'm so mad I will probably not come back. I've been going to Denny and he does great nails but I took my mom to get a pedicure with Lisa and Peter and they gave us two pedicures for $190. Good service. I've gone to Rose twice now and she does good, really takes her time which I appreciate. I think the prices are a little high seeing as I would spend less in California for what I get here. It's about $35 difference. I'll continue to come however, because like I said they do good! I live super close to this nail salon, so it is so convenient. I really tried to be happy with my experiences. My first couple of pedicures were good. Then I decided to try the acrylic nails again. My first set was was applied super quick and were really thick. So next time, I asked for a different staff member. He was very nice and did a good job on my nail fill, but if you look at the picture I took, you will see that he cut my cuticles on 3 different fingers. So now I have nice nail, with lots of scabbing around the pretty nails. Ugh! Additionally, I am one who likes to know that there are measures being taken to keep tools clean and free of bacteria. I noticed that my technician just pulled out tools from a drawer, not from a sanitizer jar or using any other sanitizing measures. This really upset me when I realized he had cut me in so many places. I am afraid I will not be going back. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would... worst nails I've ever had. For starters the dip was pink instead of white. Not at all the color I chose. When I said something they made the remark that they would change it and they were sorry but it wasn't there fault that is was something wrong with their book. When it totally was... it wasn't my fault they were selling faulty product. After I had already been there an hour and a half getting my nails done I just said whatever I would keep the pink since I didn't have time to sit another hour and a half. Not only was the color wrong the nails look like absolute shit & look like huge globs on my fingers and are uneven and so so so thick. After all this they charged me full price and had the audacity to ask if I was going to tip. I don't know how this place has 5 stars reviews, I got my nails done for possible engagement pictures this week and I'm so embarrassed of them I may even cancel the pictures. First time here had a bad experience. Haven't had nails done since COVID, thought I'd start with CT nails. First set of nails, were with silver paper which were done with gel polish, it was shiny, similar to chrome, but different, never had paper tattooed to my nails before. The next day they started peeling, mind you, they charged me 40.00 for paper nails, I immediately called them to explain what was going on with my nails, of course they told me to come back and that they would take care of it, so I did, the nail tech was insisting I get a full set of the fake nails, I didn't want that, I wanted my regular nails done, so she recommended chrome polish, I agreed, thinking I was going there to get a service that they had messed up, I ended up paying another 35.00 which total 75. 00 in 2 days,... Danggg I could have gotten a mani and pedi for that much, so they did not compensate at all, even though all the great reviews, not saying they are not great, but my experience, I was not treated fairly I will not be going back... read more

I've been going to this nail bar for years I'm a regular and I tip well but since Christmas the quality of my nails and my service has declined severely nails breaking left and right and the newest set I got I asked for a design and had a picture the finished product was satisfactory but the black on the edges of my nails didn't last 24 hours till I had to get it fixed and now a little over a week I've lost two nails. this place does great pedicures and they are very kind, however I am very unhappy with how a situation was handled. I got my eyebrows done and she did them way too thin, over half of my eyebrow is gone and all I wanted was them for to be cleaned up just a bit. I instantly started crying because they are literally gone pretty much. I ran to the bathroom because I have very bad anxiety and being in a public place already gives me anxiety on top of what I'm going through with my eyebrows. She told me I wouldn't have to pay for my eyebrows which is good but I expected to not have to pay for the entire purchase (which was overpriced) I got my toes done as well as some regular polish on my fingers.
