The massive oak had been overshadowing the magnolia for years, limiting its sunlight and airflow. Their crew carefully opened up the canopy while preserving the beauty and character of the oak. When they were finished, the canopy looked absolutely incredible--perfectly balanced and still the centerpiece of my property. Driving up to my home, it's the first thing you notice, and it honestly looks even more beautiful than before. Fast forward a few months, and I noticed several large dead limbs on the magnolia that never recovered. Torres Tree Service came in via a recommendation and they did a stellar job. Setting up an appointment for the initial consultation was incredibly easy. They were punctual, polite, and very professional throughout the process. They had insurance and charged just under a thousand to take down two crazy tall trees, grinding and mulching one into the ground. The lady boss running the show brought in several guys to help with sawing, hauling, clean up, grinding, and was not about wasting time. There was a lot of chainsaw action, climbing (#1), roping, and precision to ensure no pieces or debris fell into anyone else's yard. The whole ordeal was about 15 hours, split over the course of two days. The end result was so good for one of them, one would never know a large tree was there in the first place. Each tree was over 30 feet tall. One 60 year old pecan tree was of particular concern as it's large trunk was within 6 feet of the house with its branches extending over 40 feet in the air and covering 50% of the roof. Although I didn't identify to him certain specific branches on several of the trees that I particularly wanted removed, his crew showed up the next day on time and without any comments from me, removed every one that had I was concerned about and left all 5 trees in fantastic shape, and not a loose twig or leaf on the property. I have lived here 30 years and have my trees pruned every 3 years. Specialist without question was tops.
