Scheduling service took awhile to do granted the week was mostly rainy but communication would be nice. The biggest issue I have with Simpson Tree Service was the way they trimmed our oak tree. It has been lion tailed. One of the branches shoots so far out to the left that it looks it will snap in the next storm. read more

I called Simpson Tree Service on a Sunday afternoon, expecting to be called back on Monday. And they called me back within about 15 minutes, I sent them some pictures and they gave me an estimate over email within 30 minutes, I excepted there price and they were at my house at 1:00 pm on Monday (the exact time they said they would be here). They cleaned up a huge Oak tree and 3 other smaller trees and were done by 3:30. They cleaned up better than when they got there. Would highly recommend this 27 year old company and I will be using them again. read more

My appointment was tentatively scheduled for late this week. Sunday night Cammy text me and said we'll be there at noon Monday. Monday morning he text to tell me the crew was running early and be there soon. Guys arrived at 1030AM and did 2 large Oak Trees and a Bradford Pear tree. The Oak Trees needs lots of work but they were finished in one hour! Yard was cleaned and crew was packed up and leaving by 1130AM. All members of crew worked every minute they were here. I've been doing business periodically with Simpson's since they started in the late nineties. They have consistently been professional, friendly, and reliable. This most recent time, they removed and ground three trees (including one that was hard to get to, between a fence and a light pole) and trimmed six others. This is the second time I have used this company. The first time was after Harvey when a large tree was in distress and was threatening to fall on my house. They arrived and did a great job of taking the tree down and cleaning up. They were very professional, skilled and had the appropriate equipment and labor to do the job. Reviewer Mel B. is correct. The lady when calling the main # who works for them comes off rude. Brandon by the way looked like he was on drugs when he came out to give us a quote informed us on what will be done. On the day of they only performed half of what he promised. I paid $600 and the service only did a $300 job on my huge tree. It's been 2 weeks and I'm still waiting for a call back from Simpson Serv. Also, as I was outside another tree service co. nearby cutting my neighbors tree asked me if I needed a good cut. I was shock only because Simpson Tree Serv. just came out. If another service is telling me something, Its clear I'm not the only one who believes the job was not completed. read more

We moved to a new neighborhood, and for the first time we now have mature tall trees to care for. Nick Simpson and his crew removed a diseased 40 year old Live Oak that had a vertical split in the trunk. It was a hazard to my home and to the neighbors adjacent to my property. I'm a Repeat Customer with Simpson's - I flip houses, and use all sorts of tradesman. Simpson's is by far the most professional. Their communication was professional, polite and clear, they came when they said they would, they did the job we agreed upon, and the cost was exactly what they said it would be. My trees overhang my neighbor's yard, and their team was very respectful with neighbors. They cleaned up EVERYTHING (including blowing away leaves). This is a local, family owned business - the sons are now working in the field and VERY knowledgeable and VERY professional. They took time to talk with me as a customer - learn what I wanted, discuss what could be done to save the tree, what steps we could take even if it didn't generate them business. I'm not sure why the previous owner had the negative experience, but it certainly didn't match EITHER of my experiences with Simpsons. I would most definitely use them again read more

I made an appointment with Simpson to remove large roots on a tree. The lady on the phone does come off a little terse when you speak with her. She kept butting in so much I could barely explain what I needed. She kept repeating "call a foundation person!" My appointment was for late Tuesday afternoon on 7/13/16. I called around 4:30 PM to make sure they were coming out and was told we were on the schedule. My husband and I waited and waited until 9:00PM. No one ever came. We received no phone call from them that day or the next morning. The main reason I contacted them is because they were listed in the Sienna Plantation Bulletin. My advice is to always check the reviews first! read more

I used their website to request an estimate which included sending pictures of the trees. On the same day, I received a response with a very competitive price. A day later I got a date and time when the crew could come out and do the job. They arrived on the appointed day, explained exactly how they would trim the trees and got to work. The crew went about clearing the tree's interior and limbs overhanging the house and street. The crew was obviously very experienced and knew exactly what they were doing as each person set about doing tasks involved in expertly trimming the trees.
