I figured that maybe my tire rim was bent and asked them to take a look at it. They took off my tire and checked it for leaks and of course there was one. They took the tire off the rim, fixed the rim, put the tire back on and out the door I went all in 25 minutes. $17.95 for fixing a bent rim is not that bad of a deal.

I was expecting him to own up to the mistake and take care of the problem. Not the case. Instead I was told that it would cost me $120 and two hours of work to get my window to roll up (a crank window by the way). I was shocked and outraged. I asked "are you seriously going to charge me for breaking my window? His response was "well we don't work for free." I never raised my voice although I was furious. I immediately drove my car to Cook Collision Repair in Mahomet and they had the window fixed in 30 minutes and charged me $50. I will never take any of my cars to Community Tire again.

We found that the leak was in the back of the van and they were able to make a crafty fix without having to replace the entire system and got it done in a day. They were honest and reasonably priced. The estimate came up more than twice as high that we had got from another shop in the area! I ask the lady on the phone what they were doing to the car? It wasn't anything different from the other shop, but more than twice the cost of the other shop. I told the lady that they are completely too high and out of line! How can they expect an student to pay this kind of repair bill ? This is an old car that is probably worth less than their repair bill! By the way beware this shop charges for estimates too, the other shop didn't charge us anything! They charged my son $71 dollars for the estimate. Don't take your car there unless you want to be taken to the cleaners!
