Also, I have never had the opportunity to visit the Rustic Pear Salon but there is a stylist there, Kara Larson, who is so amazing that I just had to post this review to gush about her!!! The Rustic Pear Salon may be incredible but my five stars are for Kara. As they say in life, you need a good doctor, good mechanic and of course a great hair dresser....well that is Kara! She is a sweet soul who has a flair for hair! When I moved to Salt Lake City 6 years ago I found Kara. She did a wonderful job with my color, adding high and low lights to my hair. She was always willing to play with color changes, but only doing what you want! She cut and styled my hair so perfect that since she moved a year ago, I am still looking to find a replacement.....I now believe, she is irreplaceable. Kara is so talented and so amazing at what she does that I believe my only real option is to drive from Salt Lake to Twin Falls to have her do my hair!

The reason I rate a three is because what the salon offers as a pedicure, is not what I expect from a pedicure. They do not have the professional foot-baths and do not scrub and/or massage your feet. Sunday afternoon, not so much…read more Sorry the lady was nice at Impressions Hair & Spa but my eyes were allergic to the adhesive/glue/fumes from the extension. somehow I got double conjunctivitis in both eyes. I'm so grossed out. Immediately after I got my eyelashes done, my eyes would not stop watering. I could tell something was wrong wrong because they would not stop burning/watering. I got them done on Sunday by Sunday night I was calling around other eyelash extension places and this lady helped me from butterfly beauty in twin falls. Kudos to her for helping me, she told me to go to the doctor to get my eyes looked at because it wasn't normal. She said to go to the store and get Claritin and see if it was an allergic reaction. So I took the medicine and at least the watering stopped. Monday morning, I woke up to my eyes, matted shut and white thick stuff coming out of my eyes are used eyedrops however it did not work Tuesday morning. I went into my doctor. I paid 120 at impressions hair and spa. & gave the lady a 20$ dollar tip. Just for me to take a trip to the doctor. I'm just sharing my opinion & experience with you. Please be careful.

She was very meticulous when adding color to each layer of hair and her attention to the smallest details was phenomenal. For reference, I have very dark Asian hair so Joanne spent hours ensuring it got as light as I wanted. This was the first time I have gotten so many highlights and I walked out of the salon with a brand new look that I absolutely love and thank Joanne for working with me to get the exact style I wanted. As someone who visits from Seattle, I plan on going back to the Third Floor every time I am in the valley for anything from a cut to more color.
