We were initially given a window so we were delighted to be the first job of the day. There was a massive tree in our yard. So massive that neighbors finally became annoyed with the overhang of vines and weeds so it had to come down. The crew came prepared with all manner of tree cutting and disposal machinery and tools. The whole system involved several trucks that took up a good portion of the street. These guys were thorough and professional. Several cars had to be moved out of the way one of which was dead. No problem. They jumped it and moved it as well as another for a disabled neighbor and when the job was done they put the cars back in their original spaces. They cleaned constantly throughout the process. Living in a row home meant most of the trunk had to be carried out through the house. They handled that part just as well. Do read your contract, they spell out many specifics like how much of the trunk of our tree could be cut down because it had begun to grow into the fence. This should make clear your expectations. Highly recommended.

In addition to the quality of the actual work, I have also found it easy to communicate and work with those in the scheduling department as well as management. Whenever I email them, I routinely get a response in 24 hours (and often times within the same day). And on the day of the work, someone in a supervisory/management role will typically be on hand to make sure everyone is on the same page before the work gets started (especially if I have a specific request or if something has changed from the previous season). Our concern was possible future home damage from a storm and or heavy snow fall. Mr. Medino tagged the trees, and we agreed upon the price. He was working about 2 weeks out depending upon weather. I emailed his office a list of dates as I wanted to be at my home during the work. He contacted me 4 days prior by text along with a copy of his insurance which we requested. The crew of 6 arrived promptly at 8:00AM to our Voorhees Home. I was impressed by the meticulous attention to protecting our grass by placing rubber mats down for a large tree lift crane to get access to our rear property and avoiding sprinkler heads which I had tagged. The crew was well protected with hard hats and goggles. Safety for home and workers were important to us. They skillfully sectioned our over 30 feet scrub pines, fed them through their chipper on sight at the curb and then used the lift to prune back oak tree branches overhanging our driveway. A small section of our cedar fence had to be removed for access which they replaced at the end of the job. Stumps were ground flat. All debris were removed from the property and Mr. Tito inspected the job. We paid by Bank check. My husband and I give them 5 Stars. They have skilled workers, the correct equipment, and the expertise in their field. Joe dropped his crew off to handle a tricky clear out of a large tree that fell over in my yard…read more His crew did not do the work as Joe laid out. They left several large chunks of trunk (2 1/2 feet by 4' long) and said their saw chain broke but "don't worry they'll be back". They are still there. The biggest. most damaging problem is that instead of removing the fallen tree, they dumped a huge pile of trunk sections down an embankment at the rear of my property, then hid them with leafy branches. Joe took 3 weeks to return my call, and 2 months to come out and look at the problem. When he came out he said he didn't know what to do, but he'd call a guy. He came out with the guy, but they've never been back. He got sick. He got hurt. He was in rehab. Now, Joe does not seem to have a physical address where he can be reached, as my lawyer has tried. His website lists Elkins Park, but that is for a condo, where he has no connection for many years. There are many more reliable tree cutters than Joe Hughes Executive Branch- try someone else.
