In the heart of saint sauver you'll fine a million places to eat which all look fantastic but one restaurant stuck out to me with it's beautiful blue building and opened windows. It was our first time hearing about this place so we weren't sure what to expect but it met our standard and that some. We decided to pick up some pitas to go as we didn't want to miss the sun and water as it was a gorgeous day. We got the chicken gyro the pork souvlaki and the lamb mix gyro pitas. Prices were fair $10 per pita. We didn't get any sides as we already had our salad made and just needed a few sandwiches to feed our belly. Restaurant inside is well decorated with a great vibe. Food looked great and smelt even better. I'm happy I discovered this place and I'll be back for sure.

They were French speakers but were fluent in English. My accent amused them. I ordered a McKeown Cidre Pomme. Very nice and smooth. Didn't have that sharp tang that many ciders have. Going local I ordered the Poutine. Fries were covered in brown gravy with cheese curds. Amazing flavor. Don't know why we don't have this in Texas. We also ordered the charcuterie platter. Large amount of food for the price. Multiple selection of meats and cheeses. Great flavors and I highly recommend it especially for table sharing. Fantastic pub experience. My friend insisted we go eat their pizza after hearing it was run by a Southern French Family from Marseille and that they did specialty pizzas from that region, well my friend wasn't wrong.....it was amazing. The open kitchen is fully visible from the bar. The staff were all very professional, and while we try to speak French as much as we can, their English was great, so communicating was easy. We started with a couple of beautiful cocktails, and a snack of celeriac chips with a dipping sauce. Wow! I'd never had that before, and was surprised at how good they were. Then we each got the table d'hote which is a special being run in conjunction with a bunch of other restaurants in town. There were two items for starter, main, and one dessert, so we got one of each. The starters were a duck tartare, and mozzarella di bufala with roasted squash. Both were delicious. Our mains were a pork belly with zucchini, petal salad, cranberry gastrique sauce, and homemade pappardelle Bolognaise of tomato and beef short ribs ragout. Also both superb. Dessert was pain perdue (French toast) but not like you're thinking. Excellent! I think we've found a new favorite here in town. Highest recommendation.

I ordered the filet mignon with butterfly shrimp. The shrimp was split open but still had the shell / legs on it. I don't believe the steak was actually a filet and was definitely overcooked. I had ordered potatoes too in lieu of fries and never received them. I asked the waitress about them. She apologized and said they would be right out but I never got them. They were on the bill and I had asked that they be removed. My daughter and boyfriend's meals were just ok. No real flavor. Overall it was disappointing and overpriced for un flavorful food. I would not go back or recommend.
