A friend recommended this restaurant and it was definitely a nice dinner date while in the city. They offered us a menu in English and the waiter had good recommendations for food and drinks. The food is really good, and it's really fresh! The serving size is large! They have really good deserts as well. The deserts aren't too sweet, so you can eat more of it! i love cabanna so much. i've been to the one in Tijuana twice, but this was my first time at cabanna, guadalajara. it was phenomenal. the ambience was very calm yet chic and the waiters were so nice. i'm a vegetarian, so i asked what can i eat, and the waiter gave me a very thorough explanation of the menu. he was also very patient with me and all my questions. i was able to get one of the quesitaco just without the shrimp. they are super accommodating and i totally recommend this place! read more

When I go to Guadalajara, Mexico for business, I prefer to stay at the Ramada Encore Hotel, it's cheaper than RIU or other nice hotels, but this place has a great food court, sounded cheap like in the mall, but it's a very great food court. Restaurants here are quite nice although inexpensive compare to prices at the better restaurants in the states, the food is amazing. After a long day of work, the restaurants here fits the bill and the ambient for relaxation. Cabanna is replacement of the space of Black Angus last time I was here. It's a seafood fusion a la cart. The menu has many little dishes like appetizers for a small price, but it can add up because they're so good and light. All these little dishes are wonderful, the Marugo tuna teriyaki, the bluefin tuna tostada, the shrimp taco are so delicate, tasty and light, I couldn't refuse the seconds. The service is wonderful, attentive and quick. People are very polite. The place ambient is quite relaxing. Very quiet. I like good food, nice ambient and great people, this one has all. read more

AMAZING seafood!! Had the teriyaki tuna, the jicama taco, one of the ceviches. Everything was soooo good!! Also had a cocktail with hibiscus, can't remember the name but it was one of the specials being promoted at the time. Definitely recommend this place! read more

I tried the Taco Gobernador, Zara, Tiradito de Salmon. ALL SO GOOD! Highly recommend this place. I also asked for a flavored shot and they were nice enough to make me a "mango chamoy shot". The staff is so kind and attentive. I had a great time. read more

This is the second time we ate here this week. Food is very good overall and at a good price. Tacos and ceviche are good. We had this beet carpaccio which was amazing. I got the tuna carnitas which was amazing but some of the fish was bad so I sent it back (it happens). The tuna ceviche I had right before was great. Nice decor and service.
