Love this place!!!!! I am a very avid fisherman and I absolutely love the fishing section from the rods, reels to the large amount of tackle it's amazing I wish we had this in Jersey! The workers were very nice not sure why they have so many 1 star reviews! Couldn't suggest this place more if you are an outdoors person it's great!

Cabela's is an awesome place to stop!! the taxidermy is truly something amazing, they have various displays all throughout the store and all are great! The aquarium and fish in the pond area is also amazing! The store is truly huge and an awesome place to explore, I totally recommend it!

Open some registers, hire some employees!

They have a large selection of stuff but the bathrooms are bad and the line just to get to a cash register is very long. I don't think they respect their customers very much.

This store is huge and they have everything you need, want and can dream of for the outdoors. I could spend alot of time in here. It was clean and well kept and the selections were broad. I tell you they have EVERYTHING in this store. They also have an upstairs that I didn't even make it do because we were traveling. The check outline was quite long but moved fast. I bought a Northface shirt and it was reasonably priced.

I bought my first handgun today at 25--a M&P 9 Shield EZ. While I was excited about this milestone, the experience left me a bit uneasy. The customer service wasn't great. The salesperson wasn't very helpful or forthcoming with information. Another customer even commented that, as a man, I should already know what I wanted when I came in, which added to the pressure. The person behind the counter chuckled at that comment but didn't step in to offer support or guidance, which was disappointing for a first-time buyer like me. Despite all this, they followed protocol, did the background check, and everything went smoothly on that front. But the expectation that I should already be knowledgeable just didn't sit right with me. It made me feel like I wasn't in the right place.

Park your RV, Go look around, enjoy the eye candy, buy what you need and what you desire, get snacks, ask for help, scan the Clearance section (they have at least 6 locations), and then your 4 hour trip is good to go! You can find what you want for a great price.

On the counter is the two lines of guns you have to wait it left background check line right inspection line

I have came to this location multiple times to buy a firearm. Over the course of the three times that I came to this Hamburg location, I have waited a minimum of 3 hours and this last time pushing 6 hours. After asking questions over the course of these three times I have gotten clarification: Step one wait in line to look at, select or pick up an online order. Step two Fill out the online background check application. Step three Wait your turn in line, for them to get to your firearm. ******Now this is where I want to bring clarification to their process -you filled out the background check, using the computer. -Cabela's does not submit the background check until they get to your gun, in the physical line. -At this point your probably been in line for anywhere from 45 minutes (at the least) to about 2-3 hours or even more. Step four They file the background check which takes on a good day about 15 minutes. *** during this time, is where all the wasted time is spent. It seems that the person at the counter is waiting by the computer to see if you get approved, if you do great! But you could be put into pending, if your put into pending then they put your firearm and paperwork on the back shelf, and move onto another customer. Then after they finish with their next customer a Cabela's worker will check to see if any of the pending people are approved, and grab that persons firearm and paper work and finally move to the next step. Step five You sign your name to their computer as well as sign their safety waver with 3 questions and get a "double double" a coworker checking the information that was entered on the screen. Normally about 10-15 minutes Step six They put your gun back on the other side of the counter. At this point you think your in the home stretch, wrong. There is typically one or two people checking over all the paperwork on average this takes about 10 minutes per gun in line. So if you see 6 other firearms figure you have about 30 minutes to 1 hour before you can finally get checked out. Step seven You pay and finally you get to leave Now I'd like to give my criticisms 1- there is not enough chairs. *****you often see people leaning on the skids of products and display racks. Elderly people not having any availability of seats. If you were lucky enough to get a seat, when you get called up to the desk your most likely loose your seat. 2. You can be here for hours and I mean hours I was here for 6 hours today. they do not supply water, or have vending machines with snacks, or even a simple water fountain and the bathroom is in the front of the store, combined with the lack clarification as to their whole process. You think it'll just be a little longer and try and hold it. Along with the fear that if you leave to go in search of something or the bathroom you'll be called and loose your place in line. 3. There is no explanation of the process. You are lead to believe that the wait time is because of the background check. But the main wait is waiting your turn in line to get to the back ground check. **** there has to be a more streamlined way. 4. Their should be a screen letting you know your place in line, as well as the status of your background check, and an estimated time. So that you can go and browse the store, find refreshments and use the bathroom. 5. The counter people not calling names Loud enough. ****I've been through this process a decent amount of time and have hours of people waiting. Some time the workers will look at the ID and see the person and keep calling the name to soft and then stand there and get irritated.

[1091] 6/2020 We love visiting this location since it's huge with so many options. The parking lot is huge so you know it gets packed. They have tons of options for any type of sport or outdoor activity. The staff is very friendly. I visited during the pandemic and be aware you are not required to wear a mask but if you are then they are not enforcing. Many people without masks

Very cool place. I go there about once a year to stock up on fishing supplies. I spend hours looking around at all the cool items.

I visited Camping World (CW) - Hamburg and looked at 3 RVs they had on site. I had a top one of those three, but I really had my eyes set on a New 2026 Forest River Wildwood X-Lite 263BHLX that was at another Camping World in Apollo, PA (3 hours away from me). It was the only model in the state. I came to an agreement with CW - Hamburg to put $2,000 down and they would bring the RV from Apollo to Hamburg for free. After the RV arrived, I would inspect it and, if everything looked good, I would purchase it. Hamburg put in a request to have the RV transferred from Apollo to Hamburg. Once it was in transit, it changed on the Camping World website from being available at Apollo with a listed price to having a "Deal Pending" status without a price shown and the location being listed as Hamburg instead of Apollo. Stock # 2619362 for RV listed on Camping World website. I was told it would take about a week for it to arrive. This was around Thursday, July 30th. I got a call the following Monday, August 3rd, and was informed that the RV had arrived, however there was a problem. I was told that the Apollo dealership did not inform the Hamburg dealership that there was extensive water damage to the RV. So much so, that the RV could not pass their presale inspection before it was sold to me. I was then asked if I wanted to purchase the other model I was looking at. It was a 2027 RV and cost several thousand dollars more. I told them that I would need to take the rest of the week to think about it. During that week, I decided to visit a smaller, local RV dealership and looked at a New 2027 Forest River Wildwood X-Lite 263BHLX. I decided to go with this dealership and get the 2027 Wildwood. I called CW - Hamburg on Thursday, August 6th, and informed them that I would be going with another dealership and asked for my $2,000 down payment to be returned. It took a couple days, but I did get my full $2,000 down payment back into my bank account. Meanwhile, the next day after telling CW - Hamburg that I was going with another dealership, on Friday August 7th, CW - Hamburg had the RV I had intended to purchase up on their website without a "Deal Pending" status and a price shown, indicating that it was available to purchase. It was listed with the same Stock Number (2619362) as the one I was intending to purchase. So, it appears that they either: A) Lied to me about the water damage in order to get me to buy a more expensive model. Or B) Listed the RV for sale, even though it had "extensive water damage," without letting it be known on the website to anyone looking to purchase it. Either way, it is a scumbag move and completely unprofessional. If you are looking to buy an RV, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE.

I appreciate how honest the gentleman who helped me was. He actually recommended I try some guns out at Relic Firing Line before committing to buying anything at this shop. He seemed genuinely interested in making sure I got the right thing for my needs. The prices were not the best compared to what I saw elsewhere online but the location and service were good so paying some extra was worth it to me at the time. I will definitely return. Based on the reviews it seems other people had poor experiences here, which is unfortunate. I had a good experience with all staff there. The sign at the sales desk was drawn in ballpoint pen, so not prominent unless you are up close. Not going back.
