Random stranger (Santiago) in HD told me there was other custom cabinet stores in the area as I was looking perplexed in the bathroom cabinet aisle. He didn't have a bane but I looked up cabinets and found this location. I live an hour away and had driven out to another custom cabinet place that had less than stellar custom options for an unreasonable price point that excluded handles and tops. Anyway, I was pleasantly treated by David who was occupied with a customer and his extensive interview questions. I patiently clutched the show room and waited until it was my turn. I explained my urgent dilemma to secure a 48incb vanity and timing wasn't going to work. However I also explained my future kitchen and bathroom needs. David was not only informative but he was highly patient with my inquiries and helping educate me about their products/process and options. Although I left empty handed with not solving my current issue, I left very excited about returning back and checking out the San Gabriel location. David's customer service skills were great as he was solo and had to also handle phone calls and a delivery while I was there and all were handed with the same level of attention and courteousness. He even explained closet options which was not on my radar to do list but it's now on my want list. Why I wanted to acknowledge this is because this was not like a "salesman" type of experience at all despite the fact that you know remodeling abd custom cabinets are not cheap. I explained I was remodeling an entire home so I have to be budget conscious and he was able to show me options that I'm very excited about. Anyway, David was truly a blessing encounter as my day started off disappointing and I still didn't resolved my current issue and now I had an hour drive back home in heavy traffic but I left very excited!! I'll for sure return to check out the other location where David's normally based. read more

This company is SO GOOD that I've hired them THREE TIMES already: once for a kitchen remodel, once for a master bath remodel (which included matching closet cabinets in a side nook area) and once for an ADU. Everyone is wonderful, but Lily in particular is able to work with your floorplan and come up with a great design, and Tony and the installers are hard-working and efficient! Anyone needing cabinets for their kitchen or bathroom, don't hesitate. Their prices are amazing and the quality is top-notch. Their prices for SOLID WOOD cabinets are better than other places' prices for fake laminate! Regarding "Annie's" negative review below, she's either confusing them with another store, (maybe she called someplace else and got confused between stores?) or she is willfully mis-representing the situation. Go to their website -- there is NO mention of tiles anywhere on the website, the website ONLY shows cabinets and cabinet-related accessories (e.g. pull hardware, sinks, counter-tops) and the NAME OF THE STORE IS "CABINET CITY". Why is she so upset that a store called CABINET city does not sell floor tiles -- they clearly don't even pretend to, it's not anywhere on their website, etc. It's like going to a Mexican restaurant and being angry that they don't sell flat-screen TVs? Like...huh? They do indeed have an entire side showroom of bathroom cabinets, so I have no idea what she is going on about. I also am a little confused by the other reviewer from farther back complaining that they don't do installation? They totally do? And the price is so good and the quality is terrific. It's true that they don't do the *plumbing* part of installing the water supply but... wouldn't you want a licensed plumber [with insurance] to do that ? Just like you wouldn't want the plumber installing the cabinets? So that complaint was also a bit odd. Anyway, I tend to read all reviews for a purchase like this, so as a long-time multiple-order customer, I did want to address some of the negative reviews since I don't want them to dissuade anyone else. :) read more

I would highly recommend Cabinet City and the team over at the Rowland Heights location. We worked closely with David Chou and he was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He made improvement suggestions to our design that we would never have thought which made the kitchen 10 times better. He worked with us day and night to help solve problems with our layout measurements. Answering our phone calls, replying to all our emails. He went above and beyond to make sure we were getting the kitchen that we wanted. Once we finalized the design, they were quick to schedule the install and make it all come to life. She explained the pros and cons between natural and man-made materials, without trying to upsell The only thing is that they only sell the materials, you'd need an assembly team to install. I needed help removing cabinet trim around my microwave in order for my handy man to fix it. I called and spoke to Alvin and he found someone in my area and scheduled the visit. The cabinet installers came and removed the trim without damaging the surrounding cabinets. I will be calling them back to put new trim once my microwave is fixed. This time a bathroom and laundry room renovation was done. My project team consisted of David Chou - customer service/project coordinator, team Tang & Sofie - cabinet installer, Mr. Yang - countertop installer and I believe Alvin is the location manager. David made the process easy by communicating every step of the way. He was patient and answered my million and one questions with much enthusiasm and passion. I'm blown away by his work ethic and discipline for his young age. Outstanding before, during and after service. I had an issue with a door, it was a bigger door that tends to warp. Once the installation was done a team was sent to fix the issue. When they realized the door needs replacing a new door was ordered and David was on top of it provided me updates and timelines. This is the kind of service you need in all sectors, companies that keep their promise and stay on top to benefit the customer. So if you want the best ask for David Chou! Alvin the manager must be mentioned for giving me a return customer discount making this project possible. Team Tang and Sofie, husband wife duo was the cutest couple. Had a small hiccup receiving the wrong slab but Mr. Yang personally escorted me to the warehouse and made sure I picked something I'm happy with. Advised me against when I didn't want 4 inch back splash on the sides of my vanity and helped me understand the benefit which I'm thankful for. He did an excellent job with the countertops. Our friends strongly recommended this place for kitchen cabinet and bathroom vanity, so we went to check it out. My husband and I prefer lighter color, but we want something a little more special than simple white (no offense, white lovers!) . And we found this Bella color they offer! It is just stunning and exactly what we are looking for!! This store was packed and when it was finally our turn to get a quote, it's almost store closing time. We told Alvin that we drove an hour to the store with a baby and he was soooooo nice to stay OT, patiently help us finish our cabinet design, and provided the quote for us, which is a very reasonable price! When we went into the shop they were attentive and nice, the price was reasonable and were able to ship it to us in NorCal. So why the low rating? So whenever something ships, there will be some damages on products which is understandable. We sent pictures, tried calling, went to the website (which is a bit poorly made) and had no response. There was such a big difference before and after they made the sale. Really nice to get our business and once they had it took no effort to keep it. We still are waiting for someone to reach out to us about our damages. The website... oh the website. We went to the website to get directions for assembly. It was so bad we could not understand it.
