This was an unplanned expense, so the ability to work with GreenSky was a big plus, too. The vinyl plank floor looks and feels great; now I wish I could have it in my kitchen and entry, too. Next time, when I hope I have a planned remodel, I will be calling Van Vleet Construction.

Chris spent almost 2 hours going over the new deck plan I had drawn up, and suggested some changes that would allow us to have a larger deck, and still stay within our budget. Our new deck is almost 10 feet above ground. The stairs go down to a 4x4 landing, and then make a 90 degree turn, and end up directly in front of our gate. The deck is beautiful, and rock solid. Chris and Darian were polite and professional throughout the entire project. Chris made sure that all of our needs were met, and gladly accomodated us on some last minute changes. Chris is a man of great integrity, and a hard worker, and we will be hiring him for future remodeling projects.

When I politely gave Lynn that feedback all she said was thanks and did not apologize. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if you have anything other than cookie cutter situations. They won't try to figure out how to make something work better if anything is remotely difficult.

The cabinets had many doors that were warped and needed to be replaced. It took three separate shipments to finally get the warped door issue resolved. When the replacements arrived, some were damaged, others were warped and there were doors that were usable. As mentioned, three shipments were needed to replace all the warped doors. I, the home owner, spent many hours trying to get Rosebud to make good on their product. I also took time to replace the cabinet doors. Another factory defect with the Rosebud Wood Products cabinets is blemishes at the corner and edge of some base cabinets and upper cabinets. These blemishes have no rough areas and no splinters. There is a finish coat over these damages suggesting that these are belt sander burns caused during production, the cabinet was then stained, varnished and sent out to the customer. I asked that Rosebud replace the damaged cabinets and provide the labor to do so. Rosebud offered to provide new cabinets only and have me sign off that Rosebud was not responsible for the damage. I declined and have not heard from Rosebud since I do not recommend buying Rosebud Wood Products.

Within 3-5 years every single piece is catastrophically failing: * Paint bubbling and peeling on untouched undersides, raised center panels, and even the permanently-installed cabinet boxes * Miter joints opening * Rails warping and MDF panels delaminating MasterBrand's official response (November 21, 2025 letter - see attached screenshots) denied it was a manufacturing defect, blamed me for "excessive moisture/water damage and normal wear," and offered to replace only 14 pieces (less than half) as a "one-time courtesy."They demanded I permanently waive my Lifetime Warranty rights by signing the letter, stated "no further parts will be provided," and refused to cover labor or guarantee color match. These cabinets fail multiple mandatory ANSI/KCMA A161.1 performance tests that StarMark advertises on every brochure and website: * 5.4.1 - Finish Adhesion * 5.3 - Front Joint Strength (open miters) * 5.8 - Shrinkage & Heat * 4.3.3 / 4.3.6 - Chemical & Humidity Resistance This is the exact same widespread defect hitting hundreds of 2019-2022 painted StarMark, Schuler, Omega, Diamond, and other MasterBrand lines. Search Houzz or Reddit - the photos are identical to mine. StarMark/MasterBrand knows these painted finishes are defective but refuses to stand behind the Lifetime Warranty they sold us. Instead they use fake "environmental damage" excuses and force customers to give up their legal rights for a partial, useless fix. I am currently escalating with KCMA (requesting certification suspension), New York Attorney General (§349 deceptive practices), FTC, and CFPB. Will update if they ever do the right thing.
