I began by thinking we might simply paint our cabinets, but soon realized it was possible to enhance the beauty of the kitchen, make it more functional and ultimately increase the value of our home. Martin, the owner, is amazing! He recognized my disability and was persistently pushing for better accessibility and function; deep drawers instead of overhead cabinets, pull out shelf for heavy mixer, folding cutting board installed perfectly for wheelchair height, a narrow (reachable) spice drawer and a custom pull-down overhead cabinet for items used ofen. Installers, Isaac, Efron, and Candido are not only pleasant, pleasing and polite, they work hard and cheerfully until the task is done perfectly. They were willing to go beyond my expectations by re-doing areas I damaged with my wheelchair. Tressa visited our home after the cabinets were completed to suggest paint colors for the kitchen that would coordinate and complement the open area. Prior to Cabinet Transformation the thermofoil on our 24 year old cabinet doors were peeling and it was an awful site. One company in California advised they could redo the thermofoil, but I would have to send them each door and the cost was astronomical to say the least($199 per door). Enter Cabinet Restorations, they were able to transform my kitchen, by replacing the doors, counter tops, sink, and back splash. Alberto was very meticulous and did an exceptional job.
