Well, these Mohawk hardwoods already have numerous nicks- way more than my previous homes on-site finished hardwood floors. Also , they have this low sheen that is IMPOSSIBlE to keep clean looking. I think the top finish is too soft. I would NOT recommend Mohawk engineered floors. This, after spending $12,000 for them. Would not use or recommend Mohawk hardwoods.

Horrible experience with a Byrom Constructed House…read more This builder built my house. Within a short time of moving in, the BRAND NEW house started leaking/POURING water. The builder did come out on numerous trips and purported to fix the problem each time. All to no avail. The house still leaks. Frustrated with the builder's efforts, I have replaced the roof that was not ready to be replaced in hopes of fixing the problem--the roof was not the problem however. My next step is the replace the windows on the upper floors that I believe were not properly sealed. Overall, I would not use this builder to EVER build anything for me.
