We got a quote from Home Depot to reface our cabinets for $16K. Instead we got a full cabinet remodel and a new countertop from Cabinets to Go for $8K. Which is pretty damn awesome! We just purchased our first home and we were in over our heads making choices left and right (new floors, new lighting, new appliances etc.) We had very little idea if we were doing the right things, and if we were doing them right. But Nate (who is the mgr at the Woburn store but was at the Braintree store), made it SO EASY. Using the measurements we had (which were far from exact) and some photos he whipped up a quick visualization of what our kitchen could look like. This included knocking out a pantry, adding new drawers and new cabinets. Then he used the visual to help us pick out cabinets, handles and other details. With the first design, we didn't have enough countertop space to work with their fabricator (they needed at least 25 sq ft.) but Nate walked us through how we could find stone remnants and contractors to get that work done. Ultimately, with his help, we decided on a second design that made better use of the space and qualified us for their stone contractor. He was courteous, patient and LIGHTNING FAST with bringing our vision to life. As new homeowners, we cannot recommend his service enough! read more

This is the worst cabinet dealer hands down. They delivered part of my order. They lost some of my pieces. They found them a couple days later. They said they were delivering them right away. A couple days pass and I have to continue calling the store 3 times a day for a whole week. Finally they tell me two stops and they will drop my parts next. Nothing. Next day they tell me I'm the next stop. Nothing. Next day they tell me I'm the first stop. They finally dropped off my parts today. They dropped the wrong crown molding. BUYER BEWARE! I had a great experience with Cedric at the Woburn store but my complaint falls within the delivery. The shipping company told me they would deliver between 12-3 yet showed up at 6:30 pm and shorted me 1 cabinet. I immediately emailed Nate the manager in Woburn who didn't even respond. I called customer service and after speaking to many reps they ordered me a replacement. Here we are almost a month later and i still have no cabinet. Everyone I spoke to just passes the blame. At this point I'm probably going to need to take legal action. I. would never recommend them or use them again. Customer service and follow up are terrible but they are quick to take your money. DO NOT PURCHASE CABINETS FROM THIS COMPANY. Their costumer service is just TERRIBLE and the quality of the product very POOR. You will get STUCK with a defective product! We purchased kitchen cabinets from them. 1 Cabinet door and one Drawer came defective. We purchased 3 months ago, still don't have the replacement parts, they (one of them being Brittany Jaske) are ignoring our calls and wont even respond to our emails, even though the cabinets came defective and do come with life time warranty. We cannot use the cabinet or the drawer. It is upsetting to purchase a brand new kitchen and not be able to use it. We are now considering legal action. While purchasing the kitchen, they were not very professional and were not upfront about the what they had and didnt have for sizes. However the follow up with the store and the issues that were not resolved, have made me re-think if I would work with Cabinets to go in the future. Cabinets To Go is hardly "to go". Be warned - there is no cash and carry. You have to order everything. And then you can't pick it up at this Woburn location. You either have to drive to Braintree or NH to pick up. I ordered a simple bathroom vanity that would be available to pick up in NH on Oct 19. When I called on Oct 18, to find out what time I could come get it, I was told it wouldn't actually be available until Nov 8! I could not wait the additional 3 weeks to get it, as my bathroom was already torn apart. So, I cancelled my order on Oct 18, with all assurances my credit card would be fully refunded. It did take 2 weeks and 3 phone calls, but I did eventually get my refund. In the meantime, I found a comparable vanity at Lowes (ready "to go" at that moment!) and it was about $80 less... Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to Cabinets to Go, nor would I recommend it. read more

It took over 2 months for my cabinets to come in and when they did no one called me. On top of that they double charged me some items. I complained and complained. Over two months now and I have only received half my money back. When you call them they state they will call you back and never do. You have to keep chasing after them. Same thing with emails. Honestly considered giving this location one star. But the quality of the cabinets was good for the price. The issues I had was with Jackson and John themselves. When I first arrived Jackson was great. Helped me design a great set up and for my small kitchen. Gave me a great price and clear quote of what I was getting. Unfortunately there system was having issues so I returned the next day to finish up and placed my order. Everything started out smooth and my order was set to arrive in Manchester NH in two weeks. Later that day I realized my base sink cabinet was missing from the order sheet. I called Jackson and he said he would correct it and send me a corrected order form. I never received the email so I went back to the store the next day and he had not even done it. He then fixed the order and confirmed the Manchester nh pick up. Unfortunately the two week mark fell on a holiday week(Labor Day) so the delivery was delayed a week. Not a big deal but a little bit of a hassle. Finally after calling them the next week I was told my order had arrived in Manchester and I was all set to go pick it up. I drove up to Manchester only To find out that my order was not there at all. It was delivered to the Braintree location. I was also told by the workers in manchester(who were very helpful despite my situation being crappy) that my base 24 cabinet was not in the order and they were out of stock. I immediately called Jackson and explained the situation and he said he would call me back. After an hour of not hearing back I called back. Spoke to John who told me he would call and find out about the 24 inch base cabinet and get back to me. He never did. I called again and was told that they would order another and it would be up the following week. They offered to deliver the cabinets there were in Braintree to me for free. And to call back the next day to set it up. I called the next day and John said he would call me back with the info I needed. I again received no call and decided to go into the store the next morning when I got off work. In the store John was very dismissive and barely seemed to care that they had me drive a half hour for nothing. He tried calling the delivery guy who scheduled everything but couldn't reach him. He gave me his number and said to call him later today and that he would get in touch with him before then. When i called the delivery guy he was very nice but said he never heard from John at all. So he would get in touch with him and get back to me. I called John again, he was with a customer and said he would call me back. He never did. Again. I decided just to skip over them and drive to Braintree to get my order. All the workers in Braintree were great and helpful. I got my order and a week later I picked up my last cabinet that came in. I cannot stress enough to avoid these terrible guys. Once they had my money they couldn't have done less to help me with order. Never call you back. And are completely dismissive. I never asked for money back or anything special. Just decent customer service. To call me back and act like the cares at all. Do not use this location. Jackson although nice and professional, also didn't call me back once and didn't fix the order when he said he would. read more

We recently used cabinets to go for a kitchen remodel and had a great experience. Kim was our layout designer and created a beautiful design that fit the space perfectly. The cabinets come unassembled so you have to build them yourself. This sounds worse than it actually is. Once you build one cabinet they all go together quite easily. Expect a half hour assembling each cabinet at the most. We got quotes from Lowes and Home Depot that were more than double what we paid at cabinets to go. The cabinets from Home Depot were mdf where the cabinets Kim set us up with were solid birch. All the drawers and doors are soft close and the hardware looks great. I would definitely buy from cabinets to go again. I highly recommend this place and I highly recommend Kim or John in Woburn for your new cabinets. read more

A kitchen remodel is already somewhat stressful. Dealing with this company, from status updates that always went unanswered, from a 6 week manufacturing time up to 3 months, the delivery (which I paid an additional $500 to have them brought into my condo) was incomplete (parts delivered to wrong address) then to tell me that I must have misplaced them, then to make me drive to pick them up. Any money saved using this company is not worth all of the trouble in dealing with them. Go anywhere else. read more

Never buy Pre-Finished Hardwood Flooring from Cabinets To Go! I bought Pre-Finished Hickory for $2.49/sq ft. Thinking it was a great deal I bought more than I needed. John assured me that I'd be able to sell the extra for a profit (cuz price was so low). Vast majority of the pieces were all short 2nds. Ugh! The floor installers were so angry they wouldn't look at me. The finish is thin and spotty. So I asked my contractor have an extra coat of polyurethane. He explained that pre-finished flooring is almost impossible to re-enforce with an additional coat of poly unless you strip the entire floor which is a difficult and expensive. John at CTG should have informed about the short pieces which made labor cost skyrocket and the look is entirely different. Never buy hardwood flooring here. read more

I'm only giving two stars because our cabinets are beautiful! We had a horrible experience with the people who work there, with the exception of Kim, she was great. John was rude from the moment we met and Jackson, who we were working with, could never give us a straight answer. We were told our cabinets would be done by the last weekend in March. That weekend came and went and they weren't even put together. We called multiple times to find out what was going on and John asked "what we wanted him to do about it?". I ended up calling corporate and they must have gotten on their case because they showed up the next day and got everything installed in 3 days. After speaking with corporate, they had someone call me who was in touch with our installer and she was also extremely rude, basically accusing us of lying. I would never recommend them to anyone. The entire process was so disappointing and I wish we just spent more to have someone else do it. But like I said, the cabinets are beautiful and we are happy with them. read more

All I can say is this is the store to go if you want quick design help and delivery in affordable prices. I went to this store for my kitchen cabinetry and quartz countertop. Kim was our designer and she gave us valuable inputs which we didn't know as first time home owners. I usually ask many questions as this is my first renovation experience and John & Kim have always been patient to answer everything. They were honest about quartz countertops that they are stain resistant but not stain proof. I liked a white quartz for our countertop but I was concerned about stains. John gladly let us to do some stain testing on their samples when I asked for, not sure how many stores would let you do it and those stains came off like a charm. We changed our countertop selection twice before having the template done and John & Kim were very helpful in doing that. We tried big box stores before going here and I was frustrated with how slow/unhelpful people were. I can't appreciate John and Kim enough for their help in designing and selecting the right cabinet / countertop matching our wants. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone without thinking. About the cabinet delivery, I am happy with how they were delivered around the promised time. About the product quality, they look sturdy and modern. The design, quality, and price make these cabinets a fantastic purchase. I am yet to receive the quartz counter top, can't speak of it now. read more

Do not buy anything from Cabinets to Go in Woburn, MA!! THE worst customer service I have EVER dealt with!! Save yourself the aggravation!! So, the cabinet to go (Woburn, MA) saga continues...Finally, after almost three weeks, my granite is being installed. Great, right??? NOT! The installers (sub contractors for the granite company), show up at 4:45 pm Friday afternoon. It doesn't take them long to discover that the base cabinet that holds the double sink is 4 1/2" too short! Yup, that's right folks, it doesn't fit. So Kimberly at Cabinets to Go in Woburn, who I have on speed dial is phoned. After I explain my plight to her, she calmly puts me on hold. Of course she's calm, it's not her kitchen. She hasn't been living without a kitchen for 3 weeks with no sink or doing her dishes in the bathroom sink. She is like ok we can just order a smaller sink! Well that's all well and good but that changes my entire kitchen and delays the counter tops even longer, as they would have to re cut that whole area. Other option is to slide all my already installed and in place base cabinets over 4" to make the sink fit BUT again, then I'll need a new, bigger, sink base, which has to be ordered AND adds to the sq footage of my granite, meaning you guessed it, NO counter tops again for God knows how long, PLUS we had a new window installed weeks ago to be CENTERED over said kitchen sink and if I choose this option, again no granite yet and then the window is not centered!! So now for the sake of getting this done, not having to send my granite back and not moving my cabinets and having an off center window, I opted for the installers to cut down the sides of my brand new cabinets (basically a hack job),to somehow make the too small sink fit! Oh, and did I mention that the granite was all polished on the WRONG side, so they are doing an "on site" polishing as they install?!?! So people, spread the word. DO NOT patronize Cabinets To Go in Woburn. They suck, their customer service sucks and they act like none of this is a big deal. Kimberly and John, the so called manager, don't have a clue.
