You know, this place is hit or miss, but Im giving it 4 stars because when you score--you REALLY score. We found the most beautiful travertine tile for the shower and bathroom floor at this place for a killer price. It looks beautiful and knowing that I paid 40% less than the tile stores/home depot makes me grin each and every time I step foot in there! Does Grossman have everything you need like a homedepot or lowes? Probably not, but it is certainly worth a drive. Are they the most knowledgeable team? No, not at all. Stopped by today for the first time in years. They are becoming more of a kitchen showplace for renovations but had a good supply of flooring and other miscellaneous bath items. I was looking for minor things which in the past you could always count on Grossmans to have for cheap $. Prices here are VERY reasonable. John took his time showing and explaining everything to me. He was very knowledgeable and professional, quite rare in some of these big box stores. I will definitely be back. We had a solid experience here. We were remodeling our kitchen, and I'd definitely recommend Grossman's for their cabinets. Their selection wasn't as large as some of the big box stores, but they had about two dozen different styles to choose from, which was more than enough. All beautiful hardwood - not cheapo particle board. We got the Shaker Cherry cabinets, and they look like something out of a Better Homes & Garden catalog. Their hardwood cabinets were priced on-par (or lower) with the low-end pressboard you'd find at Home Depot or Lowes, but are as attractive and as well-built as the medium-high end stuff you'd find there. It looks like my contractors might not have installed my lazy susan properly, and it broke a couple of months after installation. They stood behind their product and offered me a replacement on the spot, no questions asked. They definitely cater to contractors and as you might expect, the experience as a homeowner was a little rougher around the edges than you'd get at the big-box stores. But if you go in expecting that, you'll see a diamond in the rough. read more

We were running late. Traffic was heavier than expected. My wife called to see if they could stay open a few more minutes after the normal closing time. The manager agreed - said that they were usually there until a quarter past the hour, anyway. As it turned out, we were 25 minutes late but the manager and another associate let us in, had the material waiting (we had provided the SKU), took our credit card payment and even helped load the car. I visited this store for the first time recently and was very happy with it. People should definitely go here before buying anything at a big box store. The prices are much better. Yes, it is less of a selection but I actually liked their selection of things like backsplash and cabinet hardware more. And I saved a ton. I wasn't planning to remodel the bathrooms yet but when I do, I will definitely get the vanity and sinks here. The sinks in particular were nice granite and great prices. read more

I've saved so much over the last year by going to Grossman's. Saved 3k in a kitchen remodel alone. Same quality as the "cabinet professional" that came to my house. I actually like the design the Grossman's team came up with better! I got taller wall cabinets (36") and a better layout for a huge savings! The reps were extremely helpful with the purchase and pickup process. The place is not the cleanest, most organized or have the best service, but the prices and quality of materials make up for it ten fold. I have renovated multiple kitchens and bathrooms using Grossman's cabinets/vanities and have never received a complaint. The materials are solid wood, look great and last forever. read more

Well, if your looking for a great deal on primer or paint, in 5 gallon buckets, that you don't need to tint, you've found the right store!!!! If you don't need much help deciding what it is that you need, because you have the knowledge of what stuff is, you've found the right store. If you need help carrying your items to the car or truck, you've found the right store. The first time that my wife and I went to this store we found a bargin. We ran into some complications about the purchase. We left the store and vowed never to return. After an angry email was sent to the corporate office, I was contacted immediately by the director of marketing who forwarded a copy of the email to the district manager. The district manager contacted me via cell phone and resolved the issue right then and there. Their professionalism was impressive enough to change my mind about shopping there again.
