My wife and I recently moved into a new home and needed internet. In Vicksburg, we found two…read moreoptions: AT&T or Vicksburg Video. We asked around and read some online reviews and eventually decided to go with AT&T. That was a big mistake. As always, AT&T has the worst customer service. You never speak to the same person, and you always are talking to someone in Asia. We signed up for 5mbps for $30 a month. The technician came a day late, and when he was here he refused to put the inside modem hook-up where I wanted unless I paid ~ $125. Therefore, the Gateway was left in a back bedroom making the wifi service in the living room very weak. Then we got the first bill and it was 33% more than expected because they didn't mention on the phone during the 3 separate conversations we had with AT&T customer service that there was a $10 equipment fee. Furthermore, we are not allowed to use our own equipment. Totally ridiculous. This is when we decided to take a chance and try Vicksburg Video. The salesperson on the phone was exceptional. I will only pay $40/month for 12 months and receive 50mbps (which has been totally reliable since having it installed) and only $20 to install. On top of it all, I am not in a contract for the first 12 months. I can cancel at any time! Its great. Lastly, the person who did the installation, her name is Dana, did an excellent job. She went above and beyond what any technician I have had in the past would do to ensure that I was satisfied with the installation. She crawled under the house, climbed a telephone pole and then waited to ensure the internet was working properly before she left for the day. Outstanding job.

This all occurred on May 22. I have mad numerous calls to AT&T Customer Service, have outstanding ticket. AT&T can't even get the bury cable company to return calls or emails to them. Risk Management does not return calls and there are no upline supervisors to speak to. What a joke.
