I was lucky to find a new Mexican restaurant on Venice Island. There aren't many options like this around, and Cabo Breeze definitely fills the southern tip of Baja vibe gap that we have here. But rather than traveling to Mexico, it's located in a convenient strip mall right in the center of the island, it's easy to find with plenty of free off-street parking. We arrived early, at 4:45 on a Saturday evening, and the place was already packed. I think we grabbed the last available table, which tells me word about this place has already gotten out. Our server was friendly, prompt, and attentive. She immediately brought out a basket of warm chips with salsa. Then she surprised us with three additional, hotter versions of their house-made salsa. Everything tasted fresh and vibrant. Since this was my first visit, I decided to start with a simple meal and ordered the shredded beef enchiladas topped with cheese and tomatillo sauce. The plate came with generous portions of rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made from scratch. Cabo Breeze has a great dinner menu with plenty to choose from, so I'm already looking forward to returning to try something new. You'll find this restaurant is a welcome addition to Venice Island's dining scene. Enjoy!

Carne Asada needed a little more salt but it was cooked perfect. Chicken Fajita was awesome. they asked about what i would like to keep in it and i was able to remove peppers minus just a couple i asked for. Waitress was very nice and attentive. all tables were being utilized so that alone should show that the place is pretty good.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and couldn't be more satisfied. The food was tasty l, insanely hot and couldn't have come out faster. I definitely will be back for dinner to try some of the other options.

This is an upscale Mexican restaurant in Venice, Florida. It used to be the old Chuck and Ale. It's decorated very nicely inside with a Mexican flare and outside. They have a little cabana where you can bring your dog. The service has always been great. We can't get away from all of the seafood Mexican options. All in the tamales are fantastic as well my wife loves the seafood tacos the ceviche and I can't pronounce it but it's shrimp in a red or green sauce. It's delicious. The bean and cheese dip will feed six people. It's huge. We've been there at least six or seven times now it's definitely on my list of go to.

Loved this place and great to see something at this premise that people are loving. It was PACKED and they opened 2 months ago. Their margs and foods and very good, and you for the amount you get, it's definitely worth it. The portions are HUGE. Overall we will be back often, I'm excited. They have a cabana area where a band could play and hopefully in the foreseeable future, they will have some bands here.

This soup is a full meal! Cabo Breeze does not disappoint! The bartender, Chris is amazing!!! Take a seat at the bar if there's an empty seat! I don't have a picture of the refried beans, but they are the best ever!

    Taco Salad. Huge!

Looking for good Mexican food and drink? With a great value for the price? This could be the place for you. Our server was friendly and attentive. As small venue that is low key with some Mexican touches. Outdoor patio is available. You won't come home hungry!

Veggie fajitas with all the toppings. Very fresh.

Second time there. First for hubby who dies for a good plan ole ground beef taco. He wasn't disappointed. Chose 2 hard corn and 1 soft corn for his shells. Got all the "fixings". He first made a meal out of the fresh tortilla chips and salsa that are complimentary. Thank you. We each had the house margaritas standard and good. I ordered the vegetable fajitas. I made two more meals out of the left overs. Bonus, it includes their fresh guacamole, sour cream fresh diced tomatoes/onion. Along with rice and beans. Very good flavor. Did not need any protein. Service was very good, we were there after the lunch crowd. I know it gets busy so plan accordingly.

Tried Cabo Breeze for the first time and loved it. It was busy, but not crowded. Our server Alli was very attentive and super sweet. The food was fantastic. I had a chorizo taco and a beef burrito. The chorizo taco was so good and the burrito was good as well. The red sauce is a little on the sweet side but that was quickly remedied with their scratch made hot sauces. Very good and hot! (Took them home to try on everything). My husband had the quesabirria tacos and they were amazing. The white rice was shockingly good. Tons of flavor. Actually finished it, unlike other Mexican places where it stays on the plate. Drinks were reasonable and also good. We will definitely go back to try more of the menu.

I've been waiting for this place to open for a while. When I found out they were open it took me a day before getting in there for dinner. I was a little surprised to see how busy they were considering they had just opened three days ago. However, parking was a "Cabo Breeze" despite the crowd. We were seated quickly and our server came within a minute or two to greet us and take our drink orders. Neither of us had cocktails, but their drink menu was huge. We ended up ordering the veggie fajitas and Carnitas dinner. This was some of the best Mexican food I have had anywhere , and I relocated from Chicago! Looking around at some of the other tables there are so many amazing looking items to try. The ceviche is even served in a pineapple, what a beautiful presentation more akin to a 5 star resort than Venice. I think I know where Fridays Happy Hour is going to be....
