Well, I took my grandson to Cabo because we wanted a snorkel experience. We booked the Cabo Wave on the advice of the person at the excursion place at our resort and she said we'd be going to Chilean Beach which I know is an excellent snorkel spot. The boat was nice, the workers were excellent, and the food and beverages aboard the tour were good. All of that. They also took us out to the Arch for photos which was nice, too. However, once we got to the snorkel area, they gave us only a cheap mask and snorkel. We were about 300 yards from the beach and they had about 75 of us jump in deep choppy water and enclosed us in a small area for about 15-20 minutes. When I asked if we could get closer to the reef, I was given a hard no. We ended up seeing 5 fish each and nothing like we would have seen had we been closer to the beach. After that disappointment, they served a taco lunch which was tasty. But since the main purpose of my paying for the excursion was to snorkel at one of the best beaches, I give this company a huge BOO and a giant sad face. Had I known, I would have rented a car and driven to the beach myself. I guess it's a hard lesson learned and what a huge disappointment for my 9 year old grandson who was expecting to see lots of tropical fish. Had it not been for the good food and hard workers, I would have given ZERO stars. read more
