The music, the view, the meal, and the crew are amazing! It is a MUST when we have guests visit. However, we learned to take our dinner break when the band goes on break. We use to have dinner at the beginning of the cruise, and we would miss the band. I was surprised how little the band played during the 3-hour cruise. Kinda Crazy. 5 STARS!!

Nice sunset cruise with vip seating. The lower vip deck offered a nice show and a good meal with a decent Méxican wine selection. The duration was a bit short but they offered air conditioning deck for vip guests only. Definitely worth a try!

This was absolutely one of the best things we did on this trip to Cabo. This is an evening dinner cruise that offers an indoor exquisite dinner and classic Mexican. Dancing show if you up for that package. My wife had Chateaubriand and I had lobster for dinner. The château Briand was exquisite, it was very tender and super flavorful. The lobster was a good size, and also just as tender melted in your mouth. The indoor set up as well done so you can see the sunset and the Cabo arch no matter where you are seated. The tour was approximately two hours, and started out with the band on top deck. With free drinks then after time, you're invited to go downstairs to enjoy your dinner and the sunset as well as a show with traditional Mexican dancers all in all great package for a couple wanting more low-key and romantic evening away from the routine nightlife in Cabo.

We had a great time. Not fancy in any way, so don't expect that. It's a very casual fun time. The food was actually better than we expected for a buffet. And the drinks were really good with a very accommodating staff. Not sure if they have different bands on the cruises that change out, but we got a rock band.....like AC/DC Rock. So not the most relaxing or dance music, but they were really good. Just not what we were expecting. But overall great time.

Before heading to La Paz, my friends and I decided to take a sunset cruise with Cabo Rey. The process of finding the boat and boarding was no issue. Very easy process. Once we boarded, since dinner was being served we were shown our table. But afterwards, we were free to go to the top deck for drinks, live music and views. The drinks were included in the package but they were incredibly sweet. Way too much sugar to the point they messed with our stomachs a bit. The live music was really nice and allowed for everyone to get up and dance. The big plus was seeing the rock formations and arches. And the boat would make a 369 turn to allow for everyone to get up close to the arches. As the sun started to set, it looked like it was going to be a beautiful sunset. Yet we were called down for dinner. And you cannot really see outside from the dinner hall. And dinner was not that good. But during dinner there was more live entertainment with traditional Mexican dancing and tango from Argentina. If you plan to take this cruise, if there is an option to pay to just visit the top deck drinks. Do that! Don't waste your money on food as you will not see a sunset on a sunset dinner cruise.

Absolutely fun and amazing dinner cruise. Nice boat with multiple levels and the party deck on the upper level with as much as you wanted to drink before dinner. Staff was friendly and cordial and quick to refill any drink if necessary. Dinner was excellent. Not something that you would expect in this type of venue. Salads and main courses along with dinner. All had excellent presentation and was cooked perfectly. The after dinner entertainment was authentic Mexican, dancing and the celebration of the Mexican culture. Everyone in our entire party agreed that this was a very good experience overall and would recommend it. This was our second time experiencing this dinner cruise and was just as good as the first time.

Not your panga open boat ride where you will get wet. This luxury cruiser has 3 decks, party music (think boomer stanards, with no garbled narrative to interfere) on the open top deck, with all drinks included. I booked the tour in January, the best month for whale watching, as an excursion from my giant cruise ship. All ships anchor offshore, which requires a local boat to transfer you ashore. The Cabrey docked an easy stroll away from where the tenders dropped us off so we didn't have to go through security. I raced to get a comfortable seat on the top deck, and a rum punch was thrust into my hand as soon as I sat. Beer and non-alcoholic drinks were also available at the bar. Fresh chips and salsa was also provided. We spent ample time ogling the arch before heading to open waters for the whale watching portion. Numerous whales breached, fluked, and skimmed the surface, providing plenty of photo ops for all aboard with ample deck space to roam from side to side, as opposed to fixed seating. A two hour tour, it was well worth it. Ample time to wander off the secure dock and into Cabo's shopping zone upon our return, but I jumped in line to get the tender back to the ship.

Great sunset cruise that included a buffet of chicken and steak fajitas and an open bar. I do advise purchasing this tour through the website themselves and not a third party because on the website I believe it was only $60 a person and I've seen it more expensive through a third party vendor. I do advise you to get there early to check in the line and get very long and they want you to stop and take photos that they can sell towards the end of the cruise as well. Since our trip was November, once a sign went down I definitely advise you to have a sweater or a jacket. If you're a person that tends to be cold like myself and I was prepared, I definitely recommend comfortable shoes as well. The boat gets a little unsteady so you don't want to have any accidents or any slip and falls while you're on vacation. The food was amazing. Authentic guacamole sour cream fajitas all you can eat even down to the dessert. That was yummy too. If you arrive early then you pretty much have a better option for where your seat will be located. I didn't want to be on the top level where the music was playing and everybody dancing drunk. I didn't want that so we actually sat in the back on the second level and it was perfect. We were the first ones to see the arch cuz the back of the boat actually hits the arch first. We got all our pictures that people are actually running to the back or we were. But we kind of positioned myself where we're in a friend and nobody could really get in front of us unless they really maneuver themselves. And I asked them to move after they were blocking my view but. It was a lovely cruise. I got phenomenal pictures and everybody was so nice to help. My husband and I take our photos

I went on the sunset dinner cruise to see the Arch and it was a blast. The boat is huge, multiple levels and lots of room to relax without feeling turbulence. There was a $2 per person port fee when we get on the boat, but otherwise the excursion was only $85 per person. That included unlimited drinks like pina colada & margaritas and a fajita dinner! All of the staff was very friendly and everyone on the boat was fun to talk with! They played upbeat music the whole time and we got very close to the arch. Everything was so beautiful at sunset! They took pictures of you entering the boat and in front of the arch that you could buy (optional). Very fun experience and a great way to see the famous arch!

I contacted them to cancel multiple times more than 24 hours in advance of our scheduled tour, but they refused to refund our money. Knowing it's a 20 minute walk from the place where the cruise ship tender drops you off to the place where the tour boats dock, we decided to scout it out the night before. The email from the company instructed us to check in at the Roger's office ("kiosko 2") to ensure we got the correctly-fitting snorkeling gear, so we went looking for the office using a map from the Roger's website and Google maps. We tried inputting the exact address from the email and asking everyone we could find at Puerto Paraiso mall, but when we went to the alleged office location, nothing was there. As a last ditch effort, on the way out of the mall, we paused and asked a random guy at a booth with ads for tours (mind you, nowhere did it say Roger's on it)! This booth was NOT located in the same spot indicated in the map on the Roger's website. However, this guy was somehow able to look up our reservation, and it was legit because he knew my name even though I never said it. He told us to just meet at the dock the next day - not to even worry about going to the "office" (wherever it may be). So that's what I would advise any future travelers to do - just go to Dock D, which isn't hard to find. Ahead of time, I had emailed the company and asked if I could add additional people to our tour and how to pay for them. I received a response indicating we would need to pay 35 per person and they could either send me a PayPal account to put the money in, or we could pay at the dock. When we got on the boat, we inquired about the two extra people and were told to pay 40 dollars. Thankfully I had the email from the company and I disputed this. I was given a roundabout explanation about how the corporate office is somewhere else in Mexico and sometimes there's miscommunication. This felt like an attempt to con more money out of us, but to their credit, they did honor the emailed price. The tour itself was great. We had Jonathan as the guide and Memo as the boat driver. Jonathan had great English skills and was knowledgeable. Our kids got to drive the boat, which had them laughing hysterically. They also dropped a couple members of our party off to snorkel in a designated spot, and the snorkel gear they provided seemed nicer than the cheap stuff we brought. At the end, they offered to drop us off closer to the cruise ship to help us avoid the 20-minute walk, but said it would be a $2 dock fee per person. We did take them up on that, as we had small kids in the party and didn't want them to have to do the walk in the hot sun. They do take pictures during the tour and offer you the chance to buy them at the end. Technically this is mentioned on the website, so it's not surprising. However, I will note that they offered us a discount on the photos at the end if we left them a review - lowering the price from 80 to 50 dollars. So, take that into account when you read other reviews. We declined. I recall when I was researching tour options that some other customers had mentioned their tours being outsourced to other people. There is definitely something odd with the "company." It presents itself on its website like a small business and frequent references are made to "our boat." But when you get to the dock, nothing says "Roger's" - no signage, no uniforms, etc. There's also more than one boat - another party was checking in at the exact same time as we were with the same people. It's almost like they've been bought out by a bigger conglomerate of tour operators. Perhaps this explains the conflicting information in some spots (i.e., the email confirmation saying to check in early at an office but a guy at a random kiosk that doesn't say Roger's on it somehow having our reservation and telling us to just go to the dock). Overall, we enjoyed the tour itself, but the issues with finding the location and being asked to pay different fees than we were quoted were off-putting.

The company Cabo Adventures is a total scam and preys on vulnerable families. I will NEVER use them again for any other activity despite us coming to Cabo every year. I encourage every one from Yelp not to use them as well. Each ticket cost over $200 per person to be part of a group dolphin experience. This is not even private. A child MUST be accompanied by an adult so that forces more people to join. You think after spending over $800 for 4 people they would treat us like royalty right? WRONG. They do not mention any photo pricing online because they don't want to scare you away before you purchase your tickets. But let me tell you, it's an all or nothing photo package (you cannot pick a few or buy per picture) and it was over $500!!!!!! The b*tch working at the photo center must get off on making kids cry because when you call her out on the ridiculous prices, she shuts off the computer, takes her booklet, and says "ok good bye, there's the door". They do not negotiate at all because they know you have no other option. It's truly heartless. How insulting after we just spent $800 just on the tickets for a 30 min SHARED experience. They allow observers who are not doing the dolphin experience but they conveniently put them far away from where the dolphins are so it's impossible for them to take any pictures or video. Note: females you are NOT allowed to have anything in your hair such as hair ties or clips which there is no mention online or even when you check in. They don't give a reason why and it really sucked because the day we went it was super windy and our hair went everywhere ruining a lot of the photos plus making it hard to see in the water with hair in your face. My poor daughter had to take out her cute braids :/ Many other great and reasonable experiences. Go elsewhere and do NOT support Cabo adventures. Shame on you guys. UPDATE: I'd like to respond to the manager Lorena who tries to justify these ridiculous prices instead of listening to her customers' feedbacks and making adjustments. No, it's not optional to get the photos because what's the point of doing this experience if you do not have pictures to keep as memories? Yes, I understand there's safety regulations about not having cameras with us in the pool but forcing bystanders not in the pool to be over 100 ft away to take pictures which will be blurring, you leave us no choice but to purchase the photos. Nobody is asking for free photos but charging $500 is a scam. Even Disneyland only charges $80 for unlimited photos for a whole week! And respect gets respect. After spending over $800, YOUR employee is the one who was disrespectful to me first with her attitude about the price and not even trying to talk to your supervisor or work something out with me. Clearly, you only care about profit, not about customers leaving happy or having a good experience.

Amount paid in full to Amstar a month in advance excluding the $25USD cash entry fee per person which we paid day-of. Also on day-of, we were offered upgrade options. The only option we proceeded with was to upgrade each vehicle 1 horsepower level up which was listed as $85 USD per vehicle for a total of $170 USD.  This was also explained to us that upgrading to that vehicle power meant insurance was included so no need for additional insurance purchase or security hold on the card. We declined ALL other upgrade options.  No private tour, no higher vehicle power upgrade beyond the 1 level up, NOTHING else. We provided a credit card and the staff member took the card for the transaction.  Again, the staff member insisted on upgrading to a private tour but we declined (which we later realized was because they didn't have any other parties booked at our time so it inevitably became a private tour anyway, they just hoped to get more $$ for it). He ran the card and handed us the receipt while rushing to direct us away to the locker area. Later upon arrival back to our hotels, we finally had a moment to review the receipt for the upgrade charges and saw it was actually charged $7,200 MXN (about $400 USD) with no itemization.  This isn't inclusive of any transaction or currency conversion fees, that is the amount directly on the receipt. This is DRASTICALLY way more than the upgrades we agreed to with no explanation or breakdown. Despite saying otherwise in other review replies, their website is not transparent in charges as the "upgrade" sheets they have in the lobby show charges differently than the website displays. The charge in MXN should have been roughly $3,060. I was overcharged $4,140 MXN, more than double what the true upgrade charge should have been alone. I went back and forth for days with Cactus Tours via calls and emails until after a week they finally stopped answering me completely. I'm in the process of filing a fraudulent chargeback with my credit card company since Cactus Tours chose to ignore my attempts for an amicable refund of the difference. Be VERY aware of all charges and do NOT let them rush you day-of at check-in without doublechecking everything if you still choose to do any activity at Cactus Tours. The tour guides will now also insist it is customary to tip $50 per vehicle at the end of the tour. This tip pressure did not exist in 2022. An additional $50 tip on top of the $25 per person entrance fee, any upgrade charges, plus initial reservation fees is wild.

The chef prepared the most amazing meal we've ever had in Cabo, and the bartender's piña coladas were hands-down the best. The Magic Miguels put on an incredible show--so much more than just a quick performance. They're truly talented entertainers, and it was a highlight of the trip! Dani was a fantastic pole dance instructor, and the boat crew made the entire experience so much fun. I felt like we were on the best and liveliest boat on the water compared to the others. To top it off, we got to see playful whales in the water--an added bonus to an already incredible day! This was by far the best trip ever, and we're so grateful to Cabo Party Fun for making it happen. If you're planning a trip to Cabo, book them! You won't regret it!

They offer many types of bach services, and I ended up booking a sunset yacht cruise. About an hour into the ride, the whales started playing and singing, and it was such a beautiful surprise for the group! Despite a few of us being hungover and seasick, Diego and his crew were so much and knew how to keep the party going! Our driver Bradley was patient with us and kept us safe. Rachel was always just one call/text away if we needed anything. Lastly, Suzanne has been fantastic! Always there to help through all my endless questions. THANK YOU!

What that means is that you must ask strangers to slide over so you can sit. If you are a family of five, it means to sit, you may have some members on the top floor others at random tables. They oversell the ship especially around whale watching season. Avoid this tourist trap!!! Do not believe the tour operators at your resorts. The boat is okay and the food smelled good, but you will be standing for two hours or seating cramped with close to 200 strangers with only about 150 seats, half of which are benches with no backs. If the operators weren't so money hungry and full of spiteful greed, the tour might have been nice. Say they sold the ship to the true seated capacity. The horrible captain made an announcement asking people to scoot over. Families with kids or the elderly (the majority of families) were not interested in moving. I wasted too many precious vacations hours on this tour. I wasted too many precious dollars on this waste. If negative stars were ever an option this would be it. This tour is horrible, horrifying, horrific, abominable, awful, terrible, tragic, and all other adjectives that express regret and anger. This tour will lend to the ruination of your vacation day. Avoid it like the plague. Avoid it at all costs. I rarely write such negative reviews but today is that day. I wish I would have trusted my intuition and gotten off. Should have just jumped overboard. Sugar Honey Iced Tea show writ large. Negative stars and damn sure would never ever ever recommend!
