The world's worst tour experience! The boat is over sold and the too few seats are supposed to be "family style." What that means is that you must ask strangers to slide over so you can sit. If you are a family of five, it means to sit, you may have some members on the top floor others at random tables. They oversell the ship especially around whale watching season. Avoid this tourist trap!!! Do not believe the tour operators at your resorts. The boat is okay and the food smelled good, but you will be standing for two hours or seating cramped with close to 200 strangers with only about 150 seats, half of which are benches with no backs. If the operators weren't so money hungry and full of spiteful greed, the tour might have been nice. Say they sold the ship to the true seated capacity. The horrible captain made an announcement asking people to scoot over. Families with kids or the elderly (the majority of families) were not interested in moving. I wasted too many precious vacations hours on this tour. I wasted too many precious dollars on this waste. If negative stars were ever an option this would be it. This tour is horrible, horrifying, horrific, abominable, awful, terrible, tragic, and all other adjectives that express regret and anger. This tour will lend to the ruination of your vacation day. Avoid it like the plague. Avoid it at all costs. I rarely write such negative reviews but today is that day. I wish I would have trusted my intuition and gotten off. Pretty great experience! On the pricey side but you get a lot for your money honestly. My favorite part of the tour was the camel ride, tequila tasting, and buffet style authentic food! The tour guides were very informative. They do a great job of capturing the moments; however, the pictures are really expensive. One picture printed was $39. I think our group pictures and videos were $200. They have different packages if you want the picture. The tour lasted 4 hours but honestly it doesn't feel like it. Booked a sunset cruise with the wife since wanted to see the sights from the water. While we did get some great visual shots of the island with the impressive rocks and architecture the vibe of this cruise is very young. I am well past the stage of my life where I enjoy going on a boat to get drunk with loud music blaring. I would pass on this type of cruise next time and opt for a private boat or excursion of my liking. This form of travel is too restrictive and commercial I will choose a quieter and more private form next time. read more

We had a blast on the sunset cruise. It's really a party cruise. The boat was pretty full, but everyone was having a good time. They provided a drink upon boarding, probably the only thing I didn't like LOL. But they had an open bar up top, the wait staff was great. Poncho Guacamole is there to pour tequila in your mouth (extra charge). He was a hoot. They served fajitas cooked on the boat. Surprisingly good. The views and sunset were great! Lots of fun. We also took the same boat for the snorkeling tour. We saw a turtle on our way out. It was a pretty choppy ride/windy. We went about 40 minutes out. The snorkeling was a little murky and not lots of fish, but we had fun. Not the boats fault, just a windy day. We also had tacos cooked fresh on board and again the food was good. Open bar (after snorkeling). You had a drink limit prior to snorkeling. Party music and dancing was on the upper deck. Upper was full sun and felt nice after the cool plunge! Do not book with Cabo Escapes if you are at all concerned with your safety! We were peacefully on another tour watching whales yesterday when this 'captain' decided it would be fun to come up on our much smaller boat and be literally inches away from hitting us. One wrong wave could have turned this experience into a nightmare. This photo does not show just how insanely close he got to us all the while thinking he was being funny. Other than the boarding process being so disorganized and crammed. I had a great time. The Sunset cruise included unlimited drinks and a serving of tacos/fajitas. We got our tickets through a time share presentation we participated in... We had to be at the dock by 430 for the cruise at 5pm. Due to covid, Masks were enforced. The dj entertainer was awesome and the music was really good. The top floor had the best view of the arc. The cruise lasted about 2 hours. At night, It gets cold on the water, so make sure you bring a jacket or coat to keep warm. The marina is massive. So, have your Uber or cab drive drop you off near the circle in front of Breathless hotel so you can be closer to the dock. There was also a photographer on board taking pictures. I took off a star. Because We forgot our coupon in our room but had a picture of the receipt. So, we were charged $80 until we brought back the original sales receipt the next day. Next time, I'll do more of a Catamaran cruise. If you want a basic cruise , to drink and enjoy the water, this is the cruise for you. read more

Advertised as Cabo Escape Snorkel Fun to lure in tourists for a snorkeling adventure when it really is a party boat with an option of snorkeling. The cruise is great if you want to drink booze and be on a party boat with loud music, eat lunch on a boat, and hang out for a couple hours. If you're looking to snorkel, it's the worst experience. It's a long boat ride to get to the snorkeling destination, maybe 40 mins to an hour. They provide googles and snorkel, but note there is only one size available, so if you pay for kids, it likely won't fit. Fins aren't provided. The total snorkel time was not long, maybe 30 mins total to get in and out of the water, and there's a lot of people. Everyone was pretty much in the same area since it was difficult to explore. It was really crowded and uncomfortable. They throw some tortilla in the water to get some fish to see, but aside from that, there wasn't much to see. Then they call you on the boat for lunch. Then you're on the boat again to head back for another 40 mins to hour. The lunch was decent, but I could do without it. Wanted a good, let alone decent snorkeling experience and this was the worst. read more

This is a booze cruise for the party goer. I wouldn't recommend this cruise for kids younger than middle school age or anyone that doesn't like loud music, vulgarity, sexual innuendos or mediocre food. This was our 4th or so time taking this cruise and over time it has become more of a dance club on water. We have older kids, so it gave them a chance to dance, but they allow any type of dress or lack of which is sad because it's a sunset cruise not a snorkeling cruise. The arch is beautiful, but other than that their expectations of their riders has diminished. It used to be more family friendly and the DJ would incorporate that into the show but now it's all about tequila shots and drinking. As the DJ says all party poopers down below which I found sort of offensive. Since not all persons are able to climb stairs or want to be upstairs shoulder to shoulder with people. The staff passed out baskets of chips but there were more people than food. The fajitas were ok. Anyone on the top deck had about 10 min to get below deck to get food before shutting down the kitchen. The chicken was on the dry side with little taste. The quesadillas were on the cold side and the beans were soupy with little taste as well. I do give shout outs to the crew. They hustled to keep the crowd happy. They kept the boat clean, drinks in hand and mingled among the crowd. The pictures were ok at the arch. If you have a good camera you probably can get better shots because the photographer doesn't wait for other boats to get out of the way. He tried his best. Definitely a booze cruise. I didn't go upstairs because it was too crowded. The upstairs had the bar and the downstairs had the food. Open bar and a fajitas buffet. I liked how they handed out drinks to people downstairs so they didn't need to go upstairs. The frozen margaritas were good. The fajitas were mediocre. Good music. It got really cold, so if you're going, I recommend bringing a warm jacket. One hour in and I was already over it because it was cold and there's only so much ocean you can see. So I'm staying at a hotel on the marina that recommended this "all inclusive" boat ride for fun, good music, and good vibes. I was super excited and boarding the boat that excitement stayed. The boat is two stories, the bottom being the food area with tables and then a slight smaller area on top to dance and drink at a bar. We were told it was all inclusive drinks and food. They did three "calling" to grab food which wasn't the best but also not the worst thing I've eaten. It was a plate with rice, beans, one small quesadilla, and two small tortillas to go with either a choice of pork or chicken fajitas. However, they only gave us max 35 minutes to grab food, when it was advertised to be open the whole time. While the drinks were served the whole time, they were clearly watered down. I asked the group that I was with what they thought of the drinks, we all agreed that they definitely weren't the best but also not the worst. I personally could have dealt with all this and still had a great time. The music was good and the people I went with always try to make the most out of everything. But I had a really bad experience with the shot server "Pancho guacamole". While dancing with my 6 friends he approached three of my friends and offered them shots. He didn't tell them it would cost money beforehand. They thought it was part of the experience so they took the shots but then he tells them to pay $30 for 3 shots. They felt sorta blindsided but paid anyways and kept dancing. However, when he approached my other three friends, I pulled one to the side and let her know that the shots cost money because they didn't know what happened with our other friends. Pancho overheard me and decided to say "don't worry, I wasn't going to give you a shot, I know you don't have money." I told him to go back to working but he continued to call me "broke" said to "fuck off". I think it was incredibly rude when I had 0 previous interactions with him and just wanted to take care of my girls. I understand people run their own business and it's hustle to get what they need but his behavior was uncalled for. My friends and I were incredibly shocked at his comments and anger when I never said or did anything to him. I personally wouldn't recommend this ride even if that personal experience happened. I think there are other ways to get a better "party" or "boat" experience. read more

We did the snorkel & lunch cruise. Overall it was fine, but not the best. It was 12:30-4:00, but lunch wasn't served until AFTER we went snorkeling, so it was 2:30/2:45, which is superrr late for lunch. The staff were not amazingly entertaining or hospitable (we experienced great service on SunRider Tours), but still did their jobs well and made sure we always had something to drink. read more

For $89 pp, I expected a higher quality cruise. People were packed in, the drinks were watered down and the food was subpar. The music was so loud on the upper deck, it was difficult to have a conversation. The staff was impersonal and didn't seem to care about the experience of the guests. What a fun evening and dinner cruise in Cabo San Lucas! Our experience started with the crew all meeting and greeting us as we boarded. After a short safety briefing, we pulled out of the Cabo Marina and headed out to sea. They took us out to the Cabo Arch to see both the landscape and the marine life as the staff served cocktails, played music and prepared the fajita dinner. We quickly got to experience a pod of whales moving alongside the boat. The fajita dinner was ready and the crew organized the passengers to go through the line to be served. I had both chicken and beef fajitas with all the fixings. Great meal. We continued to cruise towards the sunset before it was time to return to the marina. I put one star just because there's no option to put 0. On April 7 I went to the sunset dinner, as I was doing my checkin to get my "boarding passes" the guy up front offered me to pay extra to get a bracelet and 6 extra tickets for alcohol as he mentioned they served very cheap alcohol. On April 9 I went for the "snorkeling" which it was not really snorkeling anyways, I still had blue tickets from 4/7 and one of the guys advised me to use my left over tickets to get better alcohol which I did. Later on one of the guys comes questioning me if I did buy the tickets which I said yes he started taking pictures which I already felt uncomfortable. The whole way back he kept questioning us about the damn tickets if they were purchased yet he kept offering us alcohol when we had said no few times. As we were getting down I had to use the bathroom and in the corner of my eyes I saw him following me! At THIS POINT I FELT HARRASSED. As I'm walking out, 2 guys stop me questioning me. That's when I told them the whole situation and how I felt they apologized. This guy that works in Cabo escape was something else. He is the reason I will never be returning back to "Cabo escape" my first and last time. Oh and the tip I left I hope he doesn't get a single Pennie. He does not deserve it. read more

This was beyond awful. This was the worst snorkeling trip I have ever done. Here's why: 1. It was more of a party than snorkeling. Dancing with open bar and DJ on top deck. 2. We only snorkeled for twenty minutes while they chummed the water with tortillas. There were a lot of just one type of fish. They were about a foot long and dark blue-ish. Compared to HI or the Virgin Islands, I give this a 1/10. Waaaay to many people in the water. This was amateurish and unsafe. After reading all the 1 & 2 star reviews, I feel so dumb for not doing my research first. 3. Then we ate a 3 taco lunch. 4. We got to see some whales. 5. My kids, 14 & 17 went up to the top deck to dance to the music. Turns out, they gave my 6'3" tall 14 y.o. 3 gin & tonics, 1 margarita, and shots of vodka. He puked on the dance floor. My daughter came down and told me what had happened. Bystanders helped him. I am so thankful for them. I feel like a bad parent for not knowing this was happening. We got him back to the hotel, and he spent 1.5 hours in the bathroom. read more

Not satisfied when you get there they offer you a VIP Ticket for additional 50dollars for me and my wife which allows you to cut in line so you get first choice on selecting your seats and exclusive drinks which they told me it includes 1942 and ClaseAzul tequila which I thought it was a deal. Once in I tried to use my tickets for the ClaseAzul they told me they where not included with my tickets I needed to pay extra for that tequila along with the 1942 after speaking with the manager he wasn't able to help me basically they scammed me for additional 50 dollars by giving me false information. read more

We did the sunset booze/dinner cruise and it was exactly what it was supposed to be - rowdy, fun, and loud. If you're picking a sunset cruise, know what you're in for - there are lots of options in Cabo and this is not the white tablecloth, enjoy the sunset quietly sort of thing. Music starts pumping immediately and the tequila guy is pouring shots right away. The DJ/MC did a great job keeping the energy up and kept control of things - including stopping the music when a drink went flying, and shutting down the bar early enough to stop folks from completely going overboard. The food was okay, not bad, not good, that's not what we were paying for. The boat took us out to the arches and past it to the other side of the point, which you don't really get to see otherwise, and then hung around in the marina were you could see the city lights and the rays jumping out of the water. There was a photographer on board but we never did see the pictures, so that was kind of a bummer. I am only giving 4 stars because my daughter, who was the only one who drank water out of the water jugs on the bar, ended up with a stomach issue the next morning - not sure that the water jugs were filtered or bottled. So bring your own water. The rest of us had the drinks and food and had no issues. read more

This Booze Cruise is a must if you're in Cabo! It's located in Cabo San Lucas, 45 min away from our Hotel in Cabo San Juan. We purchased this evening pass through our hotel which included transportation to and from the port. Before boarding you must stand in line to show your ID and sign a waiver. Next, they'll assign you a color group and ask you to wait in the outdoor patio bar area. The Bar area has 2-3 full bars and plenty of seating space. They have a silly show of pirates that call out our color group to board the boat. The top deck of the boat is where the fun is! That's where the DJ and full bar is. Downstairs is the restaurant area. If you wanna party, and dance go UPSTAIRS and grab a seat. The cruise crew was very energetic, music was fun and the dinner portion of the day was amazing delicious! There is a schedule for each stop, party portion and dinner. The top deck is ideal for the duration of the boat ride by I urge you to go down stairs before the dock because people upstairs rush to the stairs to get off the boat and it's a little hectic. Bring sunscreen because they're isn't shaded area on the top deck. Overall, we had a great time and DRINKS WERE UNLIMITED, DELICIOUS AND STRONG. read more

Was looking forward to the sunset cruise. We waited too long to book on the boat we wanted so we ended up with this cruise. To start off with boarding was very chaotic and unorganized. Everyone was not knowing what was going on. Then once we were waiting to board the little dance number the crew did before boarding was a waste of time. We just wanted to get on the boat. Unless you paid for tequila shots the drinks had no alcohol in them. Food was ok. No complaints really. Music was ok if you were 18 to 21 years old. I would probably never book with this boat again and will make sure I book in advanced for a different boat. The captain did an excellent job at maneuvering the boat. read more

From the moment I contacted Cabo Escape tours about chartering a vessel for our Norwex incentive trip and a couple hundred of my friends, they were incredible!!!!! They were willing to create a tour plan that includes both whale watching and snorkeling, incredible food and drinks for breakfast and lunch, and an amazing time sightseeing the beautiful landscape of Cabo. What we didn't know were get: an INCREDIBLY knowledgeable whale guide (even better than in Maui!!), an insanely attentive staff, out-of-this-world food and drinks, and so much entertainment!!!! The dance party, the trivia game... ya'll know how to entertain!!!!! Here's the deal: I've chartered vessels and created tours in Panama and Maui, but this tour with Cabo Escape Tours is hands down the best we've had!!! The amount of people who said this is the best excursion they've had, the highlight of their trip to Cabo, and even the BEST experience they've had with their spouse in all their marriage.... that's all on the incredible hard work of our tour guides!!! We did the Sunset Fajita Cruise on Monday and booked through a timeshare deal. Our reservations were initially for Sunday but I wasn't feeling well so we had to postpone. Initially I asked a lady at our resort for assistance in rebooking but she stated they wouldn't allow us to. Good thing I didn't stop there. I called the company, explained the situation and they were happy to rebook us for the same day (Monday). It's located at the marina behind Breathless Hotel. Once you arrive head to the counter to check-in and you'll be given a ticket (if 2 people, 2 tickets, etc.). The boat is already there and being prepared for the us to enter.  While you're waiting, there are bars to eat and drink. There's also little shops and a bathroom to use before boarding.  The party begins even before you board- staff does different dances and really gets you excited. So much energy! At about 5:45 they start boarding the boat. You hand the staff your ticket and they hand you a drink. The drink we had was something fruity mixed with house vodka. You can either sit upstairs or downstairs. Majority of older people sat downstairs but if you want to party & have a ton of fun head upstairs. They go over a few rules and before you know it, the music cranks up, shots are flowing and people are all over the dance floor. The drinks and food are all inclusive but they do offer premium liquors for purchase, which are really reasonable compared to US prices. The cruise is about 2 hours.  It does circle the famous arches, Lovers & Divorce beach and some other spots for pictures. There's also a professional photographer on deck who'll take your pic and provide digital prints before unloading.  The pics come out really nice.  Can't remember how much they cost though  (2 much liquor lol). Overall, we had a great time, met some fun people and will always cherish the memories. I highly recommend you do this cruise the day before you leave- it's a great ending to a fantastic trip with beautiful scenery. read more

My Wife and I got free tickets after having to endure a grueling time share presentation. Can't argue with free! Well drinks are free but if you want the good stuff you gotta pay. The fajitas were great, staff was energetic and friendly. They will come around and take a photo of you and whomever you came with and then charge you $28. The views were top notch, especially when you go by the Arch. They bring you farther out after that and the music starts blasting and you better be ready to dance. Avoid this place like the plague. We did the 12:30 - 4:00 pm snorkeling, paid $110 only to find that the bay they took us to had thousands of jellyfish that prick you like little tiny needles. The "host" of the place is friendly until I confront him about how they should've warned us about how badly the jellyfish hurt instead of saying "if you like acupuncture, you'll enjoy this" and then saying "did I force you to jump in the water?" I should've known better than to trust a company that only wants to make a quick buck. You're better off chartering a small fishing boat that'll take you wherever you want. Never again. Booking was very confusing. We attended a Timeshare seminar and was awarded a voucher for 2 to a sunset cruise. The brochure we were given was for Oceanus, but when we booked it was for Cabo Escape. Glad everyone was able to sort it out. The cost on the brochure was $65 per person for a sunset cruise out to the arch and around the coast and back. It included an open bar and a Mexican dinner. The Mexican dinner, was chicken and beef fajitas, with rice, beans, veggies, and tortillas. The food was solid, nothing amazing. If we had paid for the cruise it would have been a let down, but since it was technically free it was decent. As far as the drinks, when you first arrive you are handed a glass of their punch. Once the boat starts moving, they bring out chips and salsa and you can order drinks from the waiter. The waiters are actually top notch and bring you your drinks immediately. You can get any kind of beer or a selection of mixed drinks. They had pina coladas that were good. They also, did FREE shots, but they have to pour it directly into your mouth. However, you can pay for premium liquor at about 4 bucks a shot. The views from the boat were beautiful. They wait by the Arch for a long time to take plenty of pictures. They have a professional photographer on board, but they give you free reign to take as many selfies as your heart desires. Once it gets dark the whole upstairs turns into a mini club. If you've been drinking the punch or the shots, this is a blast. Overall, the whole cruise was 2 hrs and the service was very efficient. read more

I would not recommend the dinner/sunset cruse with authentic Mexican food. We booked the cruse at our hotel for 4 people, paid over $400. We waited almost two hrs in the hotel lobby for our ride after a nice bellman helped us to call our booking agent we were sent a taxi only to find out once at the port we were told our Cruze was scheduled different than we were told, our actual reservations were not till the next day. The cruse company got us back to our resort. Once we were on the Cruze for the right day the boat was overbooked, and had to set down in the dining hall. To top it off the tequila was a fake or non-alcohol because after multiple shots we were all stone cold sober. The views were good but the food was not authentic Mexican and the alcohol was a disappointment. Would not recommend. Don't wast your money. read more

We booked the Snorkel Fun Cruise Los Cabos from 11:30 to 3:00 PM and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The entire time we were on the ship, it was endless sights and sceneries. This was our first time in Mexico so I was constantly worried that we would be kidnapped... That turned out to be false and we ended up having a wonderful time. The snorkeling portion was relatively short and they do give you life jackets and snorkeling gear. Being the terrible swimmer that I am, we opted for the shorter of the two snorkeling options. There are loads of fishes near the reef by Lover's Beach and it was easy to move around even if you aren't a strong swimmer. After that, it was continuous partying until we got back on land. The staff was friendly, enthusiastic and attentive to all of our needs. They managed to get everyone to join in in all the festivities. This is more of a party boat, so a lot of younger adults. Everyone is there to have a good time so everyone was extra friendly. If I ever find myself in the area, I will definitely book another tour. read more
