Service was super quick as 1 server managed the whole restaurant on Taco Tuesday. AND this is the best taco deal going: $2 chicken/beef or $3 carnitas street tacos. BUT the homemade are super: lite almost greaseless chips, 2 flavorful salsas AND one's fire-toasted too. Tried the Fried Avocado stuffed with ground beef smothered in white creama and queso. Delish!! Loved the service and food, ambiance is typical for strip mall; had some chatty regulars come in that raved about everything on the menu, so there's that. read more

Honestly quite disappointed. I ordered some shrimp nachos to go for 18 somethin , 20 with the tip added. When I got home I opened the box to a total of 8 chips and maybe 9 pieces of shrimp with a heavy layer of melted shredded cheese on top. They were just tucked into one corner of the box. It just looked sad. If it weren't for the queso and complimentary chips on the side I would've gone back for a refund. I could've made better nachos at home. The server was nice at least but I will not go back there for "nachos." read more

If Taco Bell opened a "restaurant" this would be it.. Our server was okay, he didn't come around unless we hailed him, and he forgot our cheese dip. Although it's decorated like a Mexican food place; the food is as American as it gets! My tacos seriously tasted and looked like I made them myself at home, and so did my wife's quesadilla. I really like the thin chips and choice of two warm salsas in a bowl. But the chicken quesadillas I ordered were below average. I'd take Chipotle's chicken quesadillas (and Taco Bell's) any day. Try them again!! I was here a couple months ago, and thought it was "just okay". Today was GREAT! The salsa was so good, so fresh and tasty. I had the chicken chimichanga and it was great too. Even the beans were a pleasant surprise. Service was the best I have had in a long time. Melissa was friendly, attentive, but gave me space to enjoy my meal. Overall experience was very good. Visited Cabos Bonitos Grill & Cantina last night for our Friday Night First dinner. First let me say I am not a food connoisseur, I like what I like. Anyway the food here was delicious!!! The fried avocados were amazing lots of good flavor in those. They serve a warm salsa and a cold salsa and they were delicious. The guacamole and queso cheese was really good also. My wife had the chicken fajitas and I had the steak chimichanga. Both meats were so tender and full of flavor. For dessert I had flan and it was so creamy!!! The staff and severs were very nice and accommodating but the food was mediocre at best. I had a burrito with grilled fajita chicken but it looked and tasted like it came from a bag of frozen Tyson chicken. Even the rice was lacking any flavor. I think the people working there were great but the food tastes like it was cooked by a white guy/gal not a Hispanic. I really hope the owners can get it together but until they do, go somewhere else. read more

Food was horrible. When we told our server chips were way salty he shrugged and said that's how they come. I asked if they salt them there or if they were store bought (assuming if I can get unsalted fries at McDonald's I could get them unsalted on these paper thin chips) his reply was I don't know they are what they are. Ordered an appetizer called mini chimi(s) which I understood might be smaller. I wasn't aware it was ONE mini chimi cut in half for $6. Appetizers are usually regular portions for lower costs to bring guests in. I've worked in the service industry for 15 years. When I addressed it the manager became unreasonable and quite rude, I'm a nice person and never complain at a restaurant since I waited tables unless the food or service was horrible. read more

On South St. formerly Marias. Inside interior is refreshed and looks great! Went with 2 other couples early (4:30ish) and seated easily. Started filling up quickly after that. Food is delicious and fresh! Our server was amazing. Very reasonably priced. The new location on Sunshine has plenty of parking.

We ate there again tonight and it was even better than we remembered. James promised us he would have flautas and he did. They were excellent. We will continue to go there. This place is the best Mexican food in town. My wife and I have become regulars and we've never had anything other than an exceptional experience! They do have two minds of nachos. If you want more than an appetizer size portion get the Garbage Can Nachos! We love the single layer of individual chips that someone else reviewing took exception to, but we love those! Our server was nice and the food came out quick. Yet the food itself is nothing to write home about. Other Mexican restaurants in town are much better for the same or lower price. Got a burrito and it was basically a plate of soupy refried beans and rice and a tiny burrito on the side (that was mostly tortilla). Salsa was incredibly salty. Atmosphere was fine. If zero stars was an option I'd select it. Only people leaving 5 starts either get paid to do it or own the business, this place is garbage and way overpriced. Their "drunken beans" are just ham and beans from a can. Every piece of chicken or steak has the same exact grill marks on it and the meat is all rubbery which tells me one thing...it's from a frozen bag of precooked meat. I expect this place to be out of business before the year is over. Take your money somewhere else. Service is terrible too, but who would want to work here if the food is terrible leading to a bad tip. read more

After three meals here I feel confident saying it is a great place to get a hot meal that is fresh! The requisite chips are crispy and the salsa is homemade and more complex flavors than your standard salsa. The Drunken Beans are a savory tasty side dish! The margaritas are very well done. This is honestly the worst restaurant meal I have ever had. I ordered a $10 burrito and it was just a flour tortilla with less like a tea spoon of beans and nothing else inside . my kids got the kids meals and the quesadillas were barely cooked and the side of beans that came with my meal was just Luke warm canned black beans . The nachos was just chips with precooked frozen chicken and shredded cheese . when someone at our table complained the employee snickered and laughed . Taco bell is an upgrade to this place and their entrees are 15 bucks a pop for garbage. This place was dead while everyone else had a 30 min wait for the table . I would never step foot in this place they may get your business once but not twice. They have to be paying for those good reviews. Just terrible . read more
