One of them went outside through the door in our master bedroom and when they came back in left the door ajar... it was still a jar when we came home. Allowing anyone to enter our home. But... When they left they did remember to take the check my husband amount for $250. I did text Alexa and told her about the unacceptable job her husband and son had done. She apologized and said she would come and redo what they hadn't done... Which actually was almost everything. She made a date and I had to move it because we were not available at that time. I have sent her several texts several emails and made telephone calls ...she has not returned any of them. She never came. I definitely would not recommend them.

We do stay in an apartment complex so I can understand. I do feel as though if you are having trouble navigating the complex them giving the client a heads up so they know you are there and that you are trying to find the place could have saved some time. The cleaner did a great job cleaning the apartment and refrigerator and even took out the trash at the end which was super nice. Outside of being a little late I would definitely try them again. I do feel like the price did reflect the work that was done and the interaction with the cleaner was great.

I offered $300 for the initial cleaning but $140 per week thereafter, as that better fit our budget, and they agreed. They came out as scheduled for the initial cleaning and I paid them $300. Our house looked nice, and took the two of them right around 4 hours to complete the job, time stamped by text messages from them, which breaks down to $75 dollars per hour or $37.50 per person, per hour. That seemed high but because they claimed to be willing to work with me on the weekly rate, I didn't balk. They thanked me for prompt payment and told me they looked forward to cleaning for me the following week. When it came time for the next weekly cleaning, they were running late, and needed to let me know they would not make it that day, but could try to fit me in the following day. I didn't want them to rush so I proposed skipping that week and, yet again I would pay the 2x monthly price of $180 since it would be 2 weeks between cleaning. It was agreed and I was promised my home would be a priority moving forward. The day of the next scheduled cleaning came and it was no call, no show. I reached out for an update several times, and finally asked for a refund of the amount I paid over the initial quote, considering they did not own up to our agreement. I was refused, saying that $220 was only an estimate, and it would have been $300 anyway once they began cleaning, despite the fact that her and her partner both walked through my entire home for an accurate quote, and no other cleaning company I reached out for an estimate, came in at that hourly rate. They did a decent job cleaning, the one time they actually showed up, but the lack of professionalism, unwillingness to provide a partial refund when they did not own up to their agreement, and utter lack of any attempts to correct the situation, is extremely disappointing.

I had requested for their move out cleaning services, and was very impressed on how they left my 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. The appliances were left spotless, the windows and blinds were dust free, and the bedroom and bathrooms were super clean! They were able to clean everything in about 4 hours or so, which in my mind is pretty fast. They were all super nice and friendly! If you're looking for family owned cleaning service to hire for your home, I highly recommend Sparkle Cleaning!
