I ordered that Relenong Bangus and it was to die for! I finished the whole fish by my self.....without rice! That's how good it is. Also, their Tokwa at baboy tasted so heavenly with a well balanced flavor of the sauce that was not so overpowering with garlic and onions. It was mixed to perfection and can be drank by itself! Their Goto is also great! Flavorful and served fresh to our table, you just won't care how hot the soup is, you just want to dig in and savor the deliciousness of the dish. The only negative thing that I noticed are the faces of their servers. As always, they lacked friendliness and they had this irritated look in their faces like we are a bother to them. If it were not for the delicious food, I would have encouraged my party to leave and find a friendlier place.

The halo-halo was the standout for me--really hit the spot and perfect for the weather. The palabok was very generous with the sauce, which I appreciated, though flavor-wise it wasn't especially memorable for me since I've had better elsewhere. The sisig on rice was okay, but I wish there was a bit more sisig compared to the amount of rice. The place was packed though, so clearly a lot of people keep coming back for a reason. I'd still be open to returning and trying some of their other ulam next time.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. They have huge servings, so come hungry. Came for lunch. Ordered samosa sampler, hummus with pita, chicken shawarma plate, beef chelo kabab plate and a lamb kabab plate with basmati rice. Everything came out fresh and hot. I can see why Mr. Kabab has a huge following. Big servings of freshly made food. Overall, I thought the spices were very understated. The samosas were hot but not much flavor, the hummus was on the runny side and needed a little bit more cumin or something. The chicken shawarma was pretty crunchy, not how I prefer my shawarma meat. The kababs were juicy, but again barely any flavor. It's a good place to eat but if you're looking for authentic flavors, you won't find it here.

Taste has never changed. I docked a star though because my sizzling keema did not come in sizzling even as I dumped in the gravy. I was surprised on how the ordering has a new process now where you have to go to the counter to order. This visit also led me to discover that they also make very good pizza. My niece's cheese pizza came in fresh and its dough was perfectly made. Would always be coming back here!

This branch is in a really convenient location and is maintained well. The people who work here are also super nice! I bought my birthday cake (the Purple Carousel chocolate cake) here, and they gave me an extra bag of sweets! My favorites are their: *Lemon bars - really great lemon flavor and have a tart, refreshing sweetness *Chocolate revel bars - probably the best I've had *Chocolate Campfire cake - very rich, but in this amazing way where you don't get tired of eating it! I've also had their: *Purple Carousel chocolate cake - classic chocolate cake with these chocolate wafers on top *Mini Pecan Pie - not the consistency I prefer in a pecan pie but the flavor was still very good *Mini Chocnut Pie - light, could use a stronger chocnut flavor, I really liked the crust though *Cookies - I love cookies so I usually get 1 or 2 with whatever else I'm buying that day, theirs are crispy on the edges and chewy on the inside *Quiche Tinapa - Liked this a lot and just ate mine chilled, but I think it would be better to warm it a little at home

During the weekends and prime dinner times on weekdays, this place gets packed. I would come here during weekday lunch times to take advantage of the fact that there were no lines (in the Bay Area, lines look like the ones for Disneyland rides -- long and out the door). The restaurant is spacious but because it's in the mall, you do get some background noise from the foot traffic outside. Seating here is abundant and staff are mostly on top of service. My favorite ramen here is always the Red King. I have a high tolerance for spicy food, so when I ask for a level 10, staff always ask me a second time to confirm. It is SO DIFFICULT finding actual spicy food here in QC, so knowing that Ramen Nagi stays consistent across countries brought me some comfort. I needed my noodles firm and my soup garlicky and spicy enough to make me break a sweat. If I'm ever back in QC, this is basically my residential Ramen Nagi -- I recommend it to anyone looking for some real spice while in the area.

It was during a reunion with my batchmates in one of my college organizations. It was my first time to eat eggplant parmigiana, and it was then I realized firsthand how eggplant and tomato sauce - and of course, melted mozzarella cheese! - could go so well together. After that, I always ask to include eggplant parmigiana whenever I'm ordering with friends in whatever branch of A Veneto. Our group ordered a variety of pastas and pizzas - all good! - plus chicken wings, which my table companions swore were great. Our total bill was lower than I expected. A Veneto is definitely one of the more affordable Italian restaurants that serve good food. Perhaps because this branch is not in a mall, we enjoyed some peace and quiet while catching up.
