My husband and I stopped by for breakfast after visiting Sagrada Família. We immediately loved the homey feel of the place upon walking in. The owner was very sweet and appeared to be the only one running it. She was very attentive and prompt, and our meals were prepared (again by only her) quite quickly. We both enjoyed our omelette with potatoes and salad (mine) and toast with bacon and eggs (him). It was very simple but sooooo flavorful. My husband also really enjoyed the cafe con leche he ordered as well. Needless to say we will definitely return if we find ourselves in Barcelona again! read more

Cute little cafe that makes you feel like you're at home in Grandma's kitchen. Toys for children to play with, also adults :) we played connect 4 while waiting for our food. Small toilets and a small restaurant but cozy! Homemade sandwiches, which were very tasty! We had the pollo with apples and spinach and also the tomatoes, goat cheese pesto was awesome! Absolutely the best service and food! By our 4th day in Spain, we wanted a more substantial meal outside of bread and coffee and stumbled upon this lovely place. It's a small coffee shop that comfortable fit our party of 6. They serve breakfast items and pastries by the nicest and friendliest owner. They have menus in English which helped! The omelettes and arroz dishes were divine and everything we were craving. Each dish felt so home-y and full of love just like the atmosphere of the coffee shop. Cannot say enough good things. Definitely one of my favorite places we are in Barcelona! Will come back during future trips. Also get a cachito! It's delicious! read more

When we walked inside the place, we were super impressed with the interior design. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Everything was going great, until we saw the menu! I mean it's so overwhelming. You could literary sit there for hours trying to figure out what to eat. Everything is smushed in one piece of paper. My girlfriend and I were looking for a quick, high quality breakfast/lunch near Sagrada Familia and Cachitos turned out to be the perfect choice. I ordered an Orange Juice (fresh squeezed) while my girlfriend ordered the closest thing on the menu to iced coffee. This turned out to be a delicious concoction that was almost on its way to being considered a milkshake (no complaints). For our meals we ordered the Mediterranean Omelette and Smoked Salmon Sandwich. Both were cooked perfectly and delicious. The woman who prepared everything and served us was awesome. While she didn't speak a lot of English, she was very nice and we had no problems ordering (the menu has English translations). Highly recommended! read more

What a great place for a cozy breakfast after visiting the Sagrada Familia. Small, quaint and only one other person in the place so we immediately felt relaxed. The nice lady waiting tables was also the cook and the cashier. The cortado was absolutely perfect and the food was great - simple but flavorful and well made. The woman cooking probably has owned the place for decades as you could see pictures of a younger version of her on the walls in the same spot making food. Went to check out Cachitos because hubby loves tea. We were welcomed in and liked the grandma's house vibe. We ordered two half sandwiches, I had the bikini and he had chorizo & brie. They were very tasty and half a sandwich each was the perfect size. I also really liked the Cachitas chocolate caliente.
