I love Cactus Club, so whenever I'm in a new area and come across a CC I have to stop in for a meal or snacks. 5-stars for the food. As always it was super yummy. What was meant to be a hot dish was hot and what was mean to be a cold dish was cold. I'm only giving a 3-star this time for two reasons: #1 we were seated outside in a covered patio area and was told it's nice and warm because it was enclosed and they had heaters on (it was windy and raining). It was warm at first, but each time they opened the door to enter or exit a huge gust of wind blew through. I was cold and uncomfortable the entire time. #2 our waitress was very friendly and super nice, however she forgot (several times) little things we asked for. At one point my daughter started eating her salad with a toothpick (normally used to keep her burger together) because she didn't have utensils. I still recommend this Cactus Club though. Service was so slow and the waitress kept spilling drinks on me. The iced tea my father ordered took 45 mins to replace. My father was told he couldn't customize his order, yet other locations had no problems in the past. The Spaghetti was so small and the prawns were half the size of a regular pasta restaurant at double the asking price (you could go to Superstore and Save-on and get the same sized prawns in the freezer section). Parking was plentiful and we were greeted right away and taken to our table. A big shoutout to our amazing server, Elise, who made our experience all the better with her friendliness, promptness, and kindness. Loved her! As for the food, we decided to try some of their new features as well as some tried and true options. We got the Ceviche (quite good, although the accompanying tortilla chips were on the salty side), Crab Cake (this one was okay, but nothing to write home about), Mini Burgers (they were a bit on the dry and bland side), Chicken Wings (we got the salt and pepper flavor, and they were pretty good), Truffle Fries (cannot go wrong with these, especially with the garlic aioli dip), and Four Mushroom Steak (upgraded to the New York striploin, it was perfectly cooked and the highlight of the meal). For a non steakhouse, I am constantly impressed by how well Cactus Club cooks their steaks and wouldn't hesitate to order a steak from here anytime. Finally, as we were celebrating a birthday, Elise was sweet enough to comp any dessert of our choice to end the meal. I'm not one for chain restaurants but Cactus Club changed my mind for the better even after waiting 20 minutes for our table, despite making reservations. Nestled in a cozy booth, we had an incredible birthday dinner. Starting with the beef carpaccio, its accent of fried capers and sharpness of fresh horseradish had me wishing I ordered two. Hands down the best I've had in years. The main dishes were cooked perfectly. The creole butter on the steak was smoky and spicy and the velvety demi glacé on the chicken was superb. Our cocktails were a little disappointing. Both were unbalanced with a heavy handed pour of bitters which made them undrinkable. Our pleasant server replaced them promptly with frozen Aperol spritzes that were bright and punchy. We finished our feast with a decadent chocolate lava cake that oozed comfort. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the food. Cactus has always had amazing food. They blocked off the bathroom so only 2 people can enter at a time and they wear masks, but other than that, we were walked through the entire restaurant to our table within 2-3 feet of other tables. No tables (that I saw) were blocked off for distancing. It was a packed lunch and we were in a booth with people in the booth behind us, and beside us on both sides. This place is racially bias to asian people. They wanted us to be out by a certain time while other people were not told the same.

Server in the lounge was a complete bitch. ( blonde hair, glasses ) I went into the lounge, as I just wanted a drink or two. It was seat yourself, so I did. This girl was wiping a table besides mine, and she didn't say anything - completely ignoring me, making me feel very uncomfortable. I didn't realize she was my server, until she came back to my table. I could of sworn it was 3 o'clock (Happy Hour ) or just after, and I ordered a Bellini thinking it was HH pricing of 5$. If it was just a min or two before, any other place I have ever been to, would always mention Happy Hour and would've rang the drink up when it started or at least asked if I wanted to wait- but not her. She was straight up rude to me, especially when I declined a menu . This I dont understand as I am always extremely polite. I had to wait for the drink, although it wasn't busy at all. When it came it was runny and wasn't full unlike any other Bellinis I've had from CC in the past. I drank it quick since there wasn't much too it. I ordered a second one, and it wasn't much better. I requested the bill. She dropped it off, and didn't ask if I needed a machine. I had cash, but I was really disappointed and pissed off that she charged me full price for my first drink! This is extremely out of the ordinary for CC. All servers I have ever had at multiple locations have had such great attitudes and been so friendly and helpful. She really made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome then i left pissed off. Never again will I go to this location.
