    Lettuce wraps YUM!
    Katie M.

We popped in for appetizers and sips on a Sunday evening. Their indoor patio is lovely. Service was good although the restaurant was busy. For food we ordered the beef carpaccio and lettuce wraps. Both were delicious! The lettuce wraps were definitely the star of the show. I've heard others rave about the lettuce wraps at Cactus, and I have to say they lived up to the hype!

Cactus Club is always on my list of rotation. It's the perfect spot for a quick bite, happy hour, or if you have a large group. I love stopping by during HH, despite the busy atmosphere--a testament to its popularity. Expect the parking lot to be full. Consistency is key here, both in terms of food quality and service excellence. Every visit guarantees a delightful experience. While there's no bad seating, I have a soft spot for the patio, especially on sunny days. The added touch of heating ensures comfort even during chilly weather. My recommendations: -You cannot go wrong with any of the food here, but I personally LOVE the Caesar cocktail, hot chicken & pickles, salmon aburi roll, & prawn crunch roll. -Make an online reservation in advance. Wait times can be a little crazy (we've gone when it was 2+ hrs!)

We had a great experience bringing our large group in for a suprise party. All the host staff were excellent in making things go smoothly, and the servers were excellent. All the details were looked after, and everyone enjoyed their food. Cactus Club always has a great variety of food for every taste, and they're great at accomodating allergies/dietary needs, IME.

I love Cactus Club, so whenever I'm in a new area and come across a CC I have to stop in for a meal or snacks. 5-stars for the food. As always it was super yummy. What was meant to be a hot dish was hot and what was mean to be a cold dish was cold. I'm only giving a 3-star this time for two reasons: #1 we were seated outside in a covered patio area and was told it's nice and warm because it was enclosed and they had heaters on (it was windy and raining). It was warm at first, but each time they opened the door to enter or exit a huge gust of wind blew through. I was cold and uncomfortable the entire time. #2 our waitress was very friendly and super nice, however she forgot (several times) little things we asked for. At one point my daughter started eating her salad with a toothpick (normally used to keep her burger together) because she didn't have utensils. I still recommend this Cactus Club though. Ambience is important but not as important as delicious food

They gave my Father in Law a free meal and dessert for his 90th Birthday! SWEET!

Wonderful Vegan options as well as non vegan. This is our go to place to take my Father in Law. Service is excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and timely. Food was perfect. Drinks (Nigroni, and beer selection) were awesome!

One of our favourite restaurants to dine in. Ambiance is excellent with great service. We like the food a lot. Prices are at par with the restaurant category, which is reasonable. I recommend the blackened chicken creole or the equivalent in steak.

What a beautiful evening spent having delicious food in a lovely environment! I highly recommend the patio area and the chicken burger and ravioli starter ! Server was sweet and the ambiance is amazing. Reservations are only done online and highly recommend unless you eat early!

We had reservations made in advance for my nephew's birthday. The waitress sat us at a tiny booth outside and said she had no other tables for 6 people. We spoke with the manager and got a snarky response that we had to take it or leave it. When you have 3 big guys they won't fit with 3 other people in a tiny wall booth. Service was so slow and the waitress kept spilling drinks on me. The iced tea my father ordered took 45 mins to replace. My father was told he couldn't customize his order, yet other locations had no problems in the past. The Spaghetti was so small and the prawns were half the size of a regular pasta restaurant at double the asking price (you could go to Superstore and Save-on and get the same sized prawns in the freezer section). I'm not coming back... ever.

Ceviche (quite good, although the tortilla chips were a bit salty) - July 2023

There's a reason Cactus Club is one of our favorites and this location didn't disappoint as it lived up to our previous visits of other locations. The ambiance was clean, trendy, and modern. Parking was plentiful and we were greeted right away and taken to our table. A big shoutout to our amazing server, Elise, who made our experience all the better with her friendliness, promptness, and kindness. Loved her! As for the food, we decided to try some of their new features as well as some tried and true options. We got the Ceviche (quite good, although the accompanying tortilla chips were on the salty side), Crab Cake (this one was okay, but nothing to write home about), Mini Burgers (they were a bit on the dry and bland side), Chicken Wings (we got the salt and pepper flavor, and they were pretty good), Truffle Fries (cannot go wrong with these, especially with the garlic aioli dip), and Four Mushroom Steak (upgraded to the New York striploin, it was perfectly cooked and the highlight of the meal). For a non steakhouse, I am constantly impressed by how well Cactus Club cooks their steaks and wouldn't hesitate to order a steak from here anytime. Finally, as we were celebrating a birthday, Elise was sweet enough to comp any dessert of our choice to end the meal. We decided on the Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bar, which was scrumptious and devoured within minutes. All in all, the food was delicious and beautifully presented and executed, the service was stellar, and we left highly satisfied yet again with our Cactus Club experience. Without a doubt, we'll most definitely be back!

We got a reservation a day before and there were plenty of spots available. They had a big drinks menu and quiet a few food options as well. Best part was that they had lots of veggie options! Here's what we got: Drinks - :: Zero-proof pineapple fizz - it def looked as good as it tasted. Very refreshing and fruity! Really enjoyed it. :: Guava aperol margarita - delicious! I could taste the guava and the spice on the rim of the glass was perfectly paired with the drink Food - :: Parmesan plenta fries - was so excited to try it, I wasn't sure what to expect. The presentation was amazing, just wish they were a big more crispy but the dipping sauce it came with was really good :: Burrata Bucatini - calabrian chili vodka cream sauce, pancetta, burrata, ricotta, thai basil, grano padano 3/5 :: Brick half chicken - pretty good! I would give it a 4/5 it was really creamy and the chicken was cooked well but I don't think it was seasoned that well. I would say for the portion size and the food, it was a bit overpriced but definitely 5/5 for the ambiance!

It's a stunning space, maybe the best in Langley that we have seen. The entrance is physical, with a wallpaper you'll never see, the shell shape is a statement. The hallway to the washrooms requires some attention with the light and to the reality of the place. The service was top notch, with the two staff members taking care of all of the tables with a well choreographed movement of product. The food, we wish, had reached the level of the service. The best item that we had was the Polenta fries with real Parmigiana Reggiano and a spicy Calabrian chili mayo and chive ash was in our mind fantastic! We'd come back for that alone. My Falafel pull apart sandwich had good flavour, but the corkscrew fried pickle was underwhelming and greasy. I don't know how they made the fries so dry, but they weren't good. The lovely K had the Spicy Peanut noodle bowl, which needed far more peanut flavour, more acid and maybe a little heat. The menu is quite eclectic, but might be a little too much so for some diners. That said the Polenta fries will bring us back, and we'll be trying to copy them at home.

I loved the crispy exterior with the sea salt on top, and the inside was so pillowy and buttery - then topped with the blue cheese butter... yum! So good. For my entree, I ordered the truffle tenderloin steak and my dining partner had the ahi tuna. We also added the Brussels sprouts and Brie mashed potatoes to share. A really cool feature is they bring over a selection of steak knives that you can choose from. I really love this concept and whoever thought that up is a genius. I chose a gorgeous, elegant-looking knife with a handle that looked like mother of pearl. The steak was easily one of the best steaks I've ever had. They shave black truffle directly on the steak when it's served, which adds such a nice richness. The sauce is also one of the better sauces I've had on a steak. It was so tempting to want to lick the plate! It was a cooked to a perfect medium rare and so tender. It's been a long time since I was really blown away by a great steak, but this just hit the mark in every way. The Brussels sprouts were great, but there was something in the dish that was a bit odd - almost like wasabi or something. It wasn't bad, it just had a kick that I wasn't expecting and made me cough a little bit. The potatoes were creamy and buttery but I did think the Brie flavour wasn't coming through enough. Maybe because all the other flavours on my plate were pretty strong. I didn't try the tuna but it looked beautiful and apparently tasted just as good. We finished off with a couple of desserts: the beehive pavlova and the crème brûlée, the latter being my typical go-to dessert. Unfortunately, I didn't really care for the salted caramel flavour here, but can't really put my finger on what exactly I didn't enjoy as I normally love salted caramel. One bite was enough for me. It looked amazing, though. I did enjoy the pavlova, but it wasn't a traditional style as it had ice cream inside instead of whipped cream. It was more like a baked Alaska without the flame. The flavours were good on this dessert, but I probably wouldn't order it again as I was really craving the more traditional pavlova. Service was good, but we did wait quite a long time after being seated before placing our order, and then waited again after dessert before getting our bill. We weren't in a hurry, but I think we were there for over 3 hours. Still a very enjoyable meal and I would definitely return for the steak alone.
