From the beef Carpaccio to the tuna stack, we enjoyed every bite and cleaned the plates. Our server was very attentive and kind with our service throughout. Went here late night to get desserts. We got 4 different kinds. Everything was good. I was excited for the sticky toffee pudding. Out of all of them, this one was just ok. I would say that this is most lively restaurant of all times. Located next to sandman hotel, its location is easily accessible. Abundant parking available. Huge space divided into main floor dining, first floor n then the sexy rooftop. Beautiful bar all stocked up and on the side is the stage for live band. Some local musician with melodious voice was playing beautifully composed songs from 1960 n maybe longer. Rooftop has water spray pumps with fans so its not too much hot on the roof and of-course umbrellas/gazebos do the perfect shade. Amazing servers who have mastered the serving skills. Food is good and many options available. Tofu lettuce wrap was so juicy and fresh. I have never had this distinct flavour of tofu with lettuce. The tacos were yummy and overloaded just the way i love. I will be going again for another good experience and you must check it out. read more

I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2 stars because the service was friendly and one server apologized and asked to give them one more chance. I'm very considerate in ranking restaurants a d I do want to give them a 2nd or 3rd chances. I find that the food here are so salty. I mean all even the aioli dipping sauce that came with the Truffle Parmesan fries. If you already have parmesan in your fries maybe ease up a bit on the salt. Parmesan is already salty and when you add salt then what do you get? A very salty fries. I had Beef Vindaloo. It's tasty. I can tell the ingredients were fresh but it's just too salty. Even the butter Naan was salty. Also I got a headache after my meal. I usually get headache when there's too much MSG on my dishes. I am not sure if the vindaloo had MSG but I felt like it does. Since I like the service at this particular branch, I am willing to give them another chance if ever we are in the area in the future. For those who would want to come to this place I suggest letting the kitchen know to use less salt on your dishes. read more

If you want to sit on a roof top patio and enjoy some good food then check out this patio on the top of Moxies in Langley. It's not well know or is really that visible but once you discover it then you"ll know why it's one of a kind in Langley. They have misters for when it's really hot and service and food is good. We came for my birthday dinner and I had been looking forward to this for months. The staff knew it was my birthday because the reservation asked if we were celebrating anything, and they took really good care of us. I felt very special. I had the NY strip and it was cooked perfectly. I hardly had any gristle to trim off. The mashed potatoes were so good and creamy. Booked a table for husband's birthday, but they gave it away because there were confusion with the reservation online, we get to sit outside in the patio, with rain dripping on my side and without heater. Secondly, we ordered 2 rounds of bellini but haven't received the second round. Third, desserts took a long time because they ran out of whipping cream. Fourth, already paid but noticed that they overcharged me with $22 for the bellinis that was never served, called them and offered to return it as a $30 giftcard, but we have to come back to claim it. They gave us $8 dollars for all the inconvinence. Food was great but you can't enjoy it because food got cold easily. Steak was enjoyed only for few minutes cause it got chewy and cold easily. I have been to this location on multiple occasions. I stay up the area while on business and enjoy the proximity of the restetaunt to the hotel. The food is always tasty here. I have done takeout, dined alone in the lounge, had a large dinner with many colleagues in the lounge and have had a good experience overall during all those occasions. The salt and pepper wings are a really good start to any meal with a drink. I've had the Biryani wings before but I don't think I would get them again. Something about them is off.. I much prefer the salt and pepper for dry rubbed wings. One of my absolute favorite mains is the Seared Ginger Tuna Salad. I usually go to Moxie's a couple of times the same week when on business here and always get the Tuna Salad at least once! The rare ahi tuna, avocado and dressing are soooo good together. The chicken Alfredo was tasty but lacking in chicken and presentation. We were very impressed with the Sunday from the kid's menu and the presentation was great. Dear Moxies. It's not me....it's you. We had a good thing going a couple years back before we went on a break (for covid) and now after tonight ....our first dinner together in ages I have to say you've changed....and not for the better. My beloved smashed guac used to be fabulous now...it's the size of a kids appetizer yet you feel free to charge me the same price. Then the soup...the Mexican tortilla soup that sounded so great ....Ive seen shot glasses bigger...and it was the equivalent of a can of Campbell's tomato soup with a chip on top...no veg, no meat....just plain ol tomato soup. Our family was celebrating a tri celebration of two family birthdays and a wedding anniversary. Reservations for 8 were made in advance for 5:00 pm. Appetizers for each table of 4 were ordered at the same time but did not arrive within close proximity of each other. The waitress seemed disinterested and lacked any friendly initiative to engage. We had to call her back to take our dinner orders. 2 men in our group ordered the ribs. She returned to advise all the ribs were sold out (5:30 pm) She said she had been there since 11:00 am and saw 6 orders of ribs go through. There was no apology. Both men chose alternate meals but only one was happy with the alternate meal. The other left most of his on his plate untouched. I was really disappointed in the service. It would have been a nice gesture to offer a free desert or acknowledgement of the obvious birthday celebrations notable at each of our tables. read more

Each time I visit the Moxies it is always a consistent and pleasant experience. Almost every time I go I always order the Sushi Cones and a Quesadilla, something about that Quesadilla and the cheese is great, the salsa is not too bad either. This time I was there I wanted to try something different so I ordered the Beef Dip. Wow, what a great meal! I have to be honest too, I would eat that without the Au Jus. The Roast Beef was tender and juicy, the sautéed mushrooms with horseradish aioli was great and the warm and tender pretzel bun finished it off. I was not disappointed. As always Bre is a great server, quick and friendly, and does not miss a beat. Jerome the owner is always smiling and up beat and you can see that he loves what he does. We went for my daughters birthday.... and pretty much every aspect of the evening was a disappointment. It took 20 minutes (and we had a reservation), for anyone to come around and ask if we wanted drinks. My granddaughter is 3years old, and when her dinner arrived, the server went to put it in front of her, stating, "careful, it's really hot!". Really? She's 3 - so we grabbed it from the waitress barehanded in the nick of time to make up for her incompetence. Dinner portions were sad for the price, and I'm familiar with small portions in the right setting. The taste wasn't horrible, but it wasn't divine​ either, and mediocre food should cost a mediocre price. If we were closer to Bowen Island, we would have gone back to Tuscany's and had them whip us up some gourmet deliciousness, but given the circumstances, we needed a Surrey venue. Service was slow to non-existent. To wrap things up, we had preordered a special dessert for my daughter, which they managed to lose track of - and all in all, it was 2 hours that could have been better spent elsewhere. I stayed at the attached hotel and stepped into Moxie's for a quick beer and to watch sports on TV - both were great. I noticed the staff was on the young and good-looking side, not a problem for me. Came here for my birthday with my girlfriends and was very pleased! Our server Hayley was upbeat, friendly, and courteous. Food was great as always and even when one of my girlfriends was given the wrong item, Hayley comped the correct one no extra charge. Overnighted here for a wedding. Decided to go to the local restaurant for lunch. We were there during happy hour. The happy hour menu to be honest was not to appealing. I ordered the loaded burger off the happy hour menu with no bbq sauce. It was actually a decent burger. I was surprised on how good it was. The fries while I left them. My partner had beef vindool it was ok. The nan was fantastic. The beef was a little tough. The sauce was good and dunking the fries into was even better. Would order the burger again. I came to Langley for work & Moxies is the restaurant located on site at the hotel I am staying at, Sandman Hotel. I ordered dinner & a very nice girl delivered my meal to my room. The Lemon Basil Salmon was cooked perfect & the flavors were so nice. There was a mix up with the steak I ordered & the server immediately took my meal back to the restaurant, told the manager & within 20 minutes came back with a fresh dish, a free dessert & a gift card for the inconvenience. Exceeded my expectations. They did not have to do that & it was so thoughtful. The food was delicious! Everything came out perfect. I am taking 3 stars off for professional conduct, mismanagement, and one of the waitresses cursing in front of my children. We saw employees on the clock eating and drinking wine all huddled together in the kitchen area by the door, then no evidence of washing hands but were handling other people's plates to be served. I don't want your dirty fingers that has been eating serving me my plate! The manager was there! She was apart of the celebration.
