I went to this place recently to see a movie, and it was my first time being there since their…read morerenovations. Let me tell you, they did their big one with those updates. I almost didn't even recognize the place. It still has a very down-to-earth local eclectic feel, well also giving modern new and fun. This is the kind of place that makes you proud of Tucson and want to bring your out-of-town visitors! I was in love with the outdoor movie screen setting they now have as well. I can't wait to partake in that. I also enjoyed the snacks that are provided. They have some vegan treats as well which is nice to know for those with different food needs... and they also looks yummy too! This time around I just got a lemon cookie, which was everything I needed it to be. I also love that the theater houses local film festivals, and what not. I know that they also show films for the culture , yet somehow they're never playing when I look up Showtimes here. I really wish they would do this more often. I asked about a refund, and the on-site manager--who appeared very young and inexperienced--told me he'd have to "check with higher-ups." There was no attempt to resolve the situation or offer any real help. Just dismissive and unprofessional. Sure, I could have taken my purse back to my car, but it was parked over a mile away. That's not a reasonable solution once you're already at the venue and in line. Policies like this need to be clearly communicated in advance. Leaving people stranded at the door is unacceptable. Overall, a frustrating and poorly managed experience.

Love the loungers, I'm a Cinemark club member so I can order ahead tickets and food either to pickup or deliver to seats with discount. They keep this location pretty clean, they should do a deep clean of halls and common areas, bathrooms at least once per month if not weekly. Just a comfortable location to watch films. They do have a bar and minimal food beyond popcorn and soda (which is in self serve flavor vending machines).

I like picking my seats ahead of time before the show which is what I did today. The location is always very clean and they always have well stocked clean restrooms. The parking is relatively close to the entrance, which is nice. I think it's just a great place to go see movies and I've never had a negative experience here. I noticed today that there's some new restaurants right outside the theater, to go to either before or after the show; so that's a nice plus.

I really appreciated how kind he was to me. The theater was comfortable and clean. The concession lady was also very kind and patient as I figured out what I wanted to get. I'd definitely return. I was looking for the gentleman when movie ended to get his name but I didn't see him. I would've definitely given him a shout out by name.

The Prime theater is where I went and it was solid. Seats were nice. Most viewing angles were subpar given the way the seats were aligned though. Ordered a drink at the bar and it was really good so props there. Overall a fine experience, but I would pretty much always go to Harkins for the popcorn in the future.

One of the worst AMC experiences I've ever had…read more I went to watch Spider-Man: Brand New Day and was extremely disappointed with the experience. As soon as we entered Theater 12, there was a strong smell of old sweat, and the theater was extremely hot. It felt like the AC was completely off. I tried to sit through the entire movie, but I was sweating throughout the whole thing. It honestly felt like sitting in a sauna. I eventually had to leave mid-movie to complain to one of the staff members, but nothing was done and the AC was never turned on. After waiting through the movie and staying for the after-credits scene, one of the staff members came into the theater. I asked him, "Hey, is the AC broken in here or what?" He told me that the AC was broken. That honestly made me even more frustrated. If the staff already knew the AC was broken, why was Theater 12 still being used? They should have simply closed the theater and moved everyone to another room. Instead, customers were left sitting in an unbearably hot theater for an entire movie. Even the person sitting next to me afterward said how ridiculous and uncomfortable the temperature was. I understand that equipment can break, but knowingly keeping a theater open without AC--especially when it's hot enough to make people sweat throughout the entire movie--is unacceptable. It completely ruined the movie experience for me. By far the worst AMC theater experience I've ever had. I honestly don't think I'll be coming back to this location again.

The theater however, was good but could be better. It was very dirty by the consessions with popcorn all on the floor & sticky floors from soda being spilt. They could use a good deep clean once in a while. I also didn't like the fact that there were no cashiers helping you to buy your tix. Inside was good with recling seats but, a little warm. Should have the a/c goin on auto or something. Anyways, all in all, not too bad. We will come back
