I almost didn't even recognize the place. It still has a very down-to-earth local eclectic feel, well also giving modern new and fun. This is the kind of place that makes you proud of Tucson and want to bring your out-of-town visitors! I was in love with the outdoor movie screen setting they now have as well. I can't wait to partake in that. I also enjoyed the snacks that are provided. They have some vegan treats as well which is nice to know for those with different food needs... and they also looks yummy too! This time around I just got a lemon cookie, which was everything I needed it to be. I also love that the theater houses local film festivals, and what not. I know that they also show films for the culture , yet somehow they're never playing when I look up Showtimes here. I really wish they would do this more often. However, today I went with my mom to see project Hail Mary and we had such a positive experience. I would say the last time I came was two years ago and I had come with my mom and my mother-in-law to see King Richard this location has great concessions, comfortable traditional movie theater seats with cupholders, the stadium seating. I like picking my seats ahead of time before the show which is what I did today. The location is always very clean and they always have well stocked clean restrooms. The parking is relatively close to the entrance, which is nice. I think it's just a great place to go see movies and I've never had a negative experience here. I noticed today that there's some new restaurants right outside the theater, to go to either before or after the show; so that's a nice plus.

I dislike being showered with popcorn and peppered with empty water bottles. The teens were standing at the front of the screen filming the movie with their cell phones, which is prohibited and illegal. At no point did theater staff enter the theater to intervene or escort unruly teens from the premises. If you love Minecraft mayhem, then by all means go here and have fun.
