One day a friend and I were bored. We decided, "Hey! Let's get new piercings!" Neither one of us had a lot of cash, and I knew that Caddy Daddy's was cheap, so I suggested it. After being ignore for about a half hour, the piercer (whose name I will not mention, for respect) pierced a very thick piece of cartilage on my left ear it was supposed to be a "snug" piercing, but was done so deep that it never healed properly. I went back to the shop a few weeks later because I was very uncomfortable with the jewelry and was going to ask to get it changed out to something longer (the balls were getting stuck in my ear because it was so swollen) and I was ignored for about 45 minutes because the only piercer on duty was eating lunch, right in front of me, and I had to wait for him. After the wait, he told me that it was fine, and to just go home. I live 20 miles away from the shop, so it's kind of irritating to make that trip for nothing. After a month or so I gave up and went to a different shop to get better quality jewelry, but even that wasn't enough to save it. This was about a year and a half ago, and I have since let the piercing go. To this day my left ear is slightly misshapen and I don't believe it was any fault of my own. Prior to coming here, I always did my own piercings. I finally got to a point that I needed the help of a professional. I visited most of the shops in redding and was not pleased with my experiances. A few felt unclean, all made me feel uncomfortable in their own special ways. Most of them where rude and thought they were better than everyone. Wow Eden! Sounds like you had a bad peircing experience. Are you sure it was Caddy Daddy's you went to? Chris, the piercer is THE BEST. He has been my piercer for over 10 years and I would never go anywhere else. I am a nurse here in town and if your piercing didn't heal correctly, it must have been something you did or didn't do. Healing and how you care for your piercing is the individual's responsibility. And as far as you waiting 45 minutes for him to eat a sandwich?? Are you telling the truth? THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL anyone who works there would ever make a customer wait for them to eat a sandwich!! Caddy Daddy's is very proffessional, sterile, friendly, and has an inviting atmosphere. I LOVEEEEE Caddy daddys. Ive been going here since 2008 to get pierced, and the other day i finally got my first tattoo, and after going to all the other shops in town (of which one shop boss in particular was very rude, and the others were just crazy expensive and charged for odd things) of course i ended up here, getting an AMAZING tattoo, as did my fiance. The price was right, we were taken care of immedialty, getting Joeys (our tattooer) undivided attention. Chris and his team are always super helpful, very attentive, and they take care of their customers very well, all of my piercings are perfect, and me and my fiances tattoos are doing great they look amazing!!! They are clean and professional, the shop has a great vibe, with music, and just overall friendly workers. I had my nipples pierced by Chris and Lorrie, and besides the pain, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The piercings are straight and healed within 2 weeks! They enclosed me for privacy, and let me take all the time I needed to gather myself after the shock of the pain. That's when I noticed the paintings on the wall and asked them about where they acquired them. I was in luck, because the artist tattoos there! His name is Dan, and he ended up doing a portrait on my thigh the next day. It turned out beautiful, and I paid a very fair price for it. I have gone through different piercing parlors in the 530 area and have honestly only really had luck at two places. CADDY DADDY being one of my top two. Chris and Brea (the piercers) are amazing, they communicate and really make you feel "safe". You can reach them via phone or social media, response times are amazing. It was an amazing experience. It was my first time going there to get my second lobe piercings done and they were very kind and explained the process before doing anything.
