I have been looking for a new salon so I thought I'd try Amazin Nails. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. They asked what services I needed, then seated me to pick my color. The salon was impressive. It was large and clean. They were reasonably busy. My tech introduced herself and seated me. She was very professional, friendly and talkative. She gave me a beautiful gel manicure. She repaired a cracked nail with a dip, and applied an acrylic thumbnail to a broken one. She did a fantastic job! I will be going back for sure!

I moved back to this area not too long ago and I've been looking for someone to do a dip powder manicure. I tried another salon in town and regretted it. After going to Lilly I am not going anywhere else! The salon is so clean and they are very welcoming. They have a ton of colors to choose from. I am SO pleased with my nails! We recently moved to Redding and I've been on a journey to find a solid, trustworthy nail salon. I came here after another salon in town messed up my dip nails (within a week I had multiple cracks, and within two weeks one of my nails had completely broken off). I am happy to announce that Amazin Nails did a wonderful job rescuing my botched nails. They are strong, healthy, and look great, and it's been over a week now. Not only that, but it was even cheaper than other salons I've been to! Finally, I appreciated the lovely atmosphere, clean work environment, and excellent customer service. I highly recommend them and will be going back regularly! read more

Keep in Mind Appointments Highly Preferred. With that said on rare occasions I've been able to get my nails done by walking in. Very fair and reasonable prices for the area. Super clean and they do a thorough job. read more

I have recently moved to the area and finally got a chance to start looking for a nail salon. This was my first pick after a google search for pedicures and I think I have found "my place" . I assumed I'd have to try a few places before I found one I liked, but crossing my fingers that this wasn't a fluke. Made an appointment for after work. Was seated in the spa chair almost immediately upon arrival. Three nail techs, two had clients so not too busy for a Wednesday afternoon. The gentleman that did my pedi did a great job. Because I've been busy moving and job hunting, I have just been putting quick polish on my toe nails myself at home. Needless to say, there was some cuticle cleanup and whatnot to be done. He took his time and did a really nice job and the paint job was pretty perfectly done. Will definitely come back here for my next one. Stay tuned to see if it was beginner's luck :) read more

I went here b/c a few reviews mentioned how clean and gentle they were. I did not experience that. I think it might be the culture of Redding b/c this happened at another nail salon, but throwing my nail clippings in the water where my feet are soaking and then using that same water to rinse my leg before adding lotion to massage is DISGUSTING. The standards need to be raised. Will never go back. Looked at my polish and cuticles the very next day and very disappointed. Very messy strokes and not going all the way to the cuticle is pointless. 2 stars b/c i believe they think that was good service. read more

I have called this place everyday to make an appointment, each time I call I am asked what I need, as soon as I tell them I need a fill I am told "I'm sorry were booked for today"! So I attempt to book out the next day, day after that, day after that and am consistently told "we have no appointments! Wonder if I just walk in what they will say .... never mind not worth my time! Lily at Amazin nails always gives me exactly what I ask for! Always amazing me with how well she can bring my nail idea to life. Plus they last forever! Only place I've ever gone where my dip manicure and gel pedicure last 4+ weeks! You have to make an appointment though as they don't take walk ins but it is worth it, they have their system in place since their staff is reduced. Definitely worth what you pay for. read more

I really wanted to like this place since the place was so close to my area & had amazing reviews. I went for a full set of coffin nails & the price was $40. I had just removed my old acrylic stiletto set the day before so my nails were in rough shape & super thin. When the lady was putting the fake nails on my finger tips she accidentally misplaced the one on my middle finger & tried to tug on it to see if she could get it off and position it better. Unfortunately that was the finger that was in the roughest shape because when I removed it the day before it was showing some flesh from underneath the nail so as she tugged the fake nail, she was slightly ripping the nail that was left on my nail bed. & this is even more unbearable than the pain... I ended up with a super duper crooked nail!!!!! The only thing that was good was the fact that this place was close to me & the lady was nice aside from the nail tugging. read more

She asked if I'd had another pedicure recently and I told her not, that I'd basically hacked at my cuticles a little myself a couple weeks prior. So this led to.. no cuticle remover, no cleaning out under the nails, barely any pressure used at all for my calluses, which I did pay extra for. She said as she was doing it that there was nothing for her to do. Tell me why I went home and was still able to get stuff out from under my toenails (mind you, it's hard for me since I'm overweight and have back problems), and plenty of callus removed with what I have on hand? Also the polish on the second toe of my left foot chipped that night. I'm so disappointed because I did enjoy this place. I hardly ever get any time to be able to go get a pedicure, not to mention it was a waste of money with what I had to put into it when I got home.

Two-it's a good thing that I have tattooed eyebrows because she waxed off half the hair on each brow. I should've read the reviews before going there. I would not recommend this place for waxing.

I received a text later that day offering an appointment in two days! I was thrilled and accepted. Today I went in and was amazed at how cute the whole salon is designed. It is clean, well decorated, and beautifully set up for all of the services it provides. Regina was my nail tech and did a great job. She asked about my preferences for length and style, and designed a cute set with my color of choice. Price was excellent and we finished within an hour. Would definitely recommend!

This is the best nail shop in Redding by far!! Super clean and sanitary. Tim and Lilly are so personable and attentive! My prior salon had so many distractions, i.e. children, cartoons, obvious dirt, reuse of the same tools and foot scrubber right on over to the next client! I will never go anywhere else! Tim and Lilly are amazing. The place is clean; they always use new files, sponges, etc. on your so you never have to think about items getting reused. I get gel nails and they always look superb!! I highly recommend an appointment at Amazing Nails. read more
