Been using them since Katrina (2005). Owner actually uses a bicycle, knows them well, his mechanics are actually riders... I've bought three bikes from him and been given four bikes in that time (I do give some of my bikes away when I know of a need, I'm not just running through bicycles). They've all been well maintained by Cadence. I'm an old lady and just want my bicycle to work properly every time, and I take my bicycle there every 6-months to a year for maintenance and I get what I pay for. Been trying to work up the courage to get an electric bike. The bad roads and the bad drivers in Mobile have me a bit scared yet. They charged me $175 to attach breaks, handle bars and check gears on a new trike. Silly me was going to buy a Vida Momentum bike from them today. I brought in a 2022 trek hybrid ridden 5 times $550 new, Brad offered me $25 for the trade in. When I tested the Momentum, they didn't even open the door for me to get the bike out. There was one other customer in the store. No customers the last two times I was there, obviously for good reason. I see no reviews since 2022 on yelp. Simply AWFUL. read more

I had a great experience with this place. I brought my bike in to get the front disc brakes worked on, I left it with them. They called me every step of the way and let me know what was going on and to make sure I wanted to continue and let me know how much it was going to cost before they did any work. The parts were ordered and the job was complete in 2 days of me bringing the bike in. I am very happy with the service. read more

My friend and I went in to get a valve adapter as the bike we borrowed has a Presta valve in the front and a Shrader in the back. Usually in the bike shops back home, they have a bucket of these adapters by the cash register, but I was surprised when the shop keep said, "I think we just sold it. We should have another one in by the end of the week." Wait, "it"? "One"? As in, singular?! I was surprised, but not disappointed. It seems mountain bikes are the norm, and they were incredibly helpful in helping us inflate the tires for the time being. Cadence 120 is a nice resource to have close to the university. read more

I ordered a sports nutritional supplement online from Cadence 120 and received an email confirmation of the order being received. Eight days later we reviewed an email saying the price on the web site was incorrect & if we still wanted the supplement they would fill the order at twice the original price! - I do not believe this was a bait and switch but this has left a bad taste in my mouth especially since there was no apology. read more

Never go to this place. If zero stars were an option, I'd give zero. I brought my bikes there to get longer handlebars. I was told they would call me with an estimate after checking on the cost for the handlebars and longer cables. No word at all until they called after doing the "work." $320. Ridiculous. The clerk was rude and took close to 20 minutes for me to pick up the bikes and pay the ridiculous price. When I asked why it was so expensive the clerk "brad" essentially told me we had cheap bikes that needed lots of work. Mind you these are brand new bikes from Academy we bought to ride on the beach - no reason to spend a fortune. All we needed were longer handelbars and cables for a comfortable ride. You would recognize the clerk. He looks like a wanna be but semi-intelligent stoner barista. Very lazy, didn't even help open the doors while I was trying to get two bikes out. Looking back I should have known better and test rode the bikes. So incompetent that they didn't even adjust the gears. Neither bike will go into first gear and both click like they are between gears. I considered returning to there and asking them to complete the job. After thinking about it, I wouldn't let them air up the tires. NEVER WASTE A SINGLE HARD EARNED DOLLAR AT THIS INCOMPETENT ESTABLISHMENT. read more

I went to this shop after much research for a new road bike. I am fairly new to biking and wanted to purchase a better quality bike to ride the 10-20 miles daily. I am a plus-sized woman and when I walked into the store I was totally ignored. I have never felt so slighted in a store before. I was not offered a test ride of any of the bikes or given any information. There were 4 employees in the store. I will never go back to this store and ended purchasing not 1 but 2 bikes from a much friendlier store who knew how to treat their customers. read more
