    Mojito with fresh mint

This is a tiki hut/ dive bar on A1a... that is a major recommendation in itself... 300 yards to the Atlantic ocean. Decent menu seafood options and regular bar food. I had the seafood dinner. I was very happy. Pretty sure my server was the owner. Took great pride of place and made a really good mojito... prices were what you would expect of a beach bar meal and two cocktails was under $50 m. I was not disappointed

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is cool. Outside with live band and inside with AC.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was packed last night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with Reuben tots and let me say....these have been missing in our life! They were awesome. Tots were perfectly crispy and Reuben toppings perfect. Jess had the Patellac smash burger on rye and loved it. I had chopped cheesesteak on Texas toast. Also delicious and very hot temperature which I love. The servers were friendly and had the Easter theme going on. Fun place, we will be back.

We went in for a drink and a snack just after 6 pm. We missed happy hour, but the fish dip appetizer we shared with a glass of wine and a beer was very good. Service was excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It smelled great because the grill was smoking ribs that night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will go back for those!

We Ordered oysters (mushy), fish dinner and crab cake dinner plus drinks. We got our food which my crab cake was really good. I had ordered broccoli (double steamed) and collard greens. Our food was dropped off by a food runner who left when we were asking for hot sauce and he didn't hear. Waited for our waitress we never saw her so I found someone else. My broccoli was cold and raw. I wasn't able to eat it. We never saw our server again. We had to wave down other servers for boxes and our bill. I heard her tell another customer she was even working. However as much as I appreciate her initial help it was such a bad experience service wise. I could get another cocktail. We had to find someone for our bill. Who happened to be the manager. She apologized and was great that's why I gave 3 stars. Service is 90% of the experience. The manager compt us $10 As for the ambiance it was fine. Little run down but tiki area was great. However There were two brothers on the next table were complaining about their wives Lori and Carol. Talking loud my advice Run ladies. These guys are looking for the next Mrs BeerGut. Though they loved Arie the bartender and stayed just to ogle her.

Fun outdoor tiki bar with big TVs. I happen to show up on a football Sunday. They have a band, lovely dog friendly crowd. Bartenders were pros. They are super busy but still give good service. 5 stars for good food in a tiki bar setting. Food is good. The sho nuff shrimp was fun and lightly breaded with a fun sauce. Mahi sandwich I ordered blackened. Cooked perfect with grilled bun and LTO. It's a bit loud with the band. I had water and had a great lunch at the bar.

A local's place for sure. Has been a few different places over the last five years but it is all that it appears to be. Lots of drink specials throughout the week and live music Fri-Sun. Our waitress got our drink order then was absent. Fortunately another server took our order and we were ready to eat when the chef brought our food out. I can appreciate not letting the food die in the pass. Chicken Tenders were really good. Batter was tasty and they are a do over for sure. My smash burger was a bit smaller than I thought 1/4 pound would be but I will tell you the carmalized onions were very good. I did not even pick up on them being on the burger. Fries were pretty good and hot. Looking around at the clientle there were some definite locals with their pups on the patio. I would recommend the patio but beware....there is a smoke pit that if the wind is blowing the wrong way will ruin your experience. The inside is a bar and looks it. Dark and should never be seen in the light of day. Looks do decieve and I was pleasantly surprised by the food.

Ahi Tuna, mac and cheese and Roasted Garlic Butter Clams Ahi Tuna $14.00 This was my first time visiting Cadillac cove in Melborne FL.. I come to Melborne often and am always looking for a great place to eat, relax and get some entertainment.. let me tell you, I guarantee you will get all that and more coming to this wonderful establishment... not only is the food amazing but the wait staff and entertainment are awesome... I ordered the Ahi Tuna Crusted, the clams and a side of Mac and cheese. Roasted Garlic Butter Clams $13.00 Roasted Garlic Butter Clams Steamed in a Roasted Garlic, White Wine, & Fresh Sage Sauce. Served with Garlic Toast. Turn into Dinner by having served over pasta for $3 The food came out quickly, taste amazing and drinks were never empty. Our waitress was constantly making eye contact to make sure we were ok the entire meal, smiling, and being just plain polite. There was a live band there ( we were here on a Saturday) , they sounded amazing and really kept the crowd.. Let's just say I'll most definitely be back!

The storefront is not anything special. However, the interior was quite nice though it was very small. There was capacity for perhaps 25 people or so inside and it was full when we visited on a Wednesday morning at about 10 AM. But there were also a couple of outside tables and we grabbed one of those to enjoy our food. In addition to bagels, they offered some enticing baked goods. Our grandson chose one of those items, a lovely, nice-sized cinnamon roll which he enjoyed very much. My wife and I both had the Breakfast Special "Eggle", which was an Egg, Meat and Cheese on a bagel. We chose bacon, though my wife skipped the cheese. My Everything bagel that I selected was particularly good. This was a great deal as the bagel was bundled with coffee for only $5. Overall, our expenditure for food, drink, tax and tip was about $20. This was a terrific deal by today's standards. The service here was excellent. The people working were efficient and quite friendly. If you are in the area and looking for a moderately-portioned cost-effective option compared to pricey hotel breakfasts, this is a pleasant choice. It's got a great local vibe with good food.

The Culinary Institute of America. Our daughter actually graduated from their Baking & Pastry program in San Antonio, so we were already inclined to give the place a try. But I digress. The moment you walk in, the smell of bacon smacks you right in the face. In the best possible way. So. Dang. Good. We stopped in on a busy Sunday afternoon. The dining room was hopping. A few tables could have been bussed a little quicker, my chair needed a quick swipe-down before I sat, and there were a few chips hanging out on the floor. Normally I'd notice those things more, but then the bacon smell hit again and suddenly none of it seemed quite as important. I ordered two perfectly cooked over-medium eggs, sliced tomatoes (instead of potatoes), and a biscuit. I chose the biscuit over toast or an English muffin with absolutely no intention of eating it. My plan was to take it home for one of the kids. Then I took one bite. Friends, this was THE best biscuit I have ever eaten in my entire life. I don't throw around statements like that lightly. If you visit Banana River Cafe and order absolutely nothing else, order the biscuits. They deserve their own Yelp page. My husband got what I think was called the Power Bowl--a delicious-looking pile of rice, beans, carnitas, and all the ingredients that make a great burrito bowl. Our son absolutely housed his French toast. Our daughter ordered the Rosemary Chicken Salad Wrap with pasta salad. I sampled the chicken salad. It had a whisper of rosemary. A polite suggestion of rosemary. A rosemary cameo appearance. If you're going to call it Rosemary Chicken Salad, I'd personally vote for a little more rosemary. My daughter loved it, though. She also loved the pasta salad but wasn't a fan of the Parmesan sprinkled on top. If Parmesan must be involved, let's keep it to the kind that comes from a block and not the green plastic shaker. Just my two cents. The staff was friendly, service was great, and soda refills appeared before we even had to ask. I also loved the local artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. Every piece has a price tag, so if something catches your eye, you can literally take it home with you. Great food, great service, incredible biscuits, and enough bacon aroma to improve your mood instantly. We'll definitely be back.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more It is only fitting that I check out another breakfast/brunch place with the iconic American breakfast staple "biscuit" mentioned in their name. As for such locales within the Space Coast, this is the third one (off the top of my head) I have had the pleasure to dine in, right after "Oh" and "Twisted." So was Grumpy's Biscuits (which I will shorthand simply to Grumpy's for the remainder of this review) just another fine establishment to add to other fine breakfast estabishments here on the coast that shoots off rockets, or did they standout. I am happy to review that Grumpy's has enough subtlety to standout without smashing the competition. That is something I admire because I prefer options within harmony, Competition amongst competitors to improve one's self. Even though an address is provided, Grumpy's is located on Highland Ave., just north of the westbound part of Eau Gallie Blvd. within the EGAD. If it helps, it is right across the street from the EGAD Civic Center. First and foremost, the building Grumpy's is located in is an iconic landmard within the EGAD. Grumpy's shares the building with other businesses in which they occupy the southernmost business space, which is quite small with a small indoor eating area and a small outdoor patio with each table having individual umbrellas for shade or rain cover. It fits as Grumpy's is said in two phrases: "simple and trendy" and "cozy." The workers and owner are friendly and hospitable, and they assisted me in deciding on what to eat, which they have given each of their biscuits/sandwiches/etc. a female name. I chose "Lisa," a breakfast biscuit consisting of bacon, over easy egg, smoked gouda, mixed greens, and housemade balsamic glaze. Couple of notes about this amazing biscuit, the bacon were thick cut and candied. Truly amazing. And the balsamic glaze. Whatever their recipe is, it is amazing. I could definitely have that on many a meal. Yes, I know exactly how I wrote that! As for the coffee, I got an iced coffee which is premade and ready-to-serve. They use half-and-half and stevia in the raw. Ergo, the coffee was what I wanted. Finally, the restroom. Take note the "water closet" is outside in the hallway. Since the restaurant is small, it is a single-server. Fortunately, it was stocked and clean. There was also an "ambiance" of class, which is nice given the fact the restaurant is... well... small... and the restroom is probably shared with the other businesses, too. Ultimately, Grumpy's was an amazing initial visit and I look forward to visiting them again. Since this is the first and only time (so far) I have been here, I will give them four out of five stars. After a couple more visits, if they stay consistent, I will add their fifth star for consistency.

Unfortunately today was a really bad day! I called and told the woman on the phone we want to eat under the pergola. She said we aint got that. I responded on your deck with the plants. She said we ain't got a deck. Have you ever been here? I said yes many times. I just want to eat our food on the patio under the pergola. She said I don't even know what that is. I explained, but then I said we would like to order an orange soda with cups. She said we dont do that on the phone. You can do that when u get here, we dont do that on the phone... Okay? We arrive i go in to pay. I ask if the bathrooms are available, she said no we don't let customers use them. I said Im sorry I know last time we were where here they were under construction, but we need to use the bathroom and wash our hands. She responded we don't let anyone use them. I told her thats a violation and you cannot deny a paying customer a bathroom. She said she would ask. I asked if the owner was around. She said I am the owner and my mom is here. She went to ask and never came back. I stood there for a few mins. Realized I never ordered a large soda for the table. Still she never came back. She went outside to talk to her man instead that was outside. I peered over to a familiar face (blonde lady, very sweet always). I told her I wanted to buy a soda. She came around. Then as I walked out I peered through the open door to the kitchen and I asked if her and the other lady ( who is also the owner, never met her. Only the gentleman who is probably her husband?).(male owner i have met handful of times is very nice). Anyway they told me like the daughter at the counter to use the restroom next door. (Same as a few weeks ago). I wouldn't have even cared even though annoyed about the bathroom like the last time if it wasn't for the daughter's crap attitude from the phone call to paying... plus the daughters boyfriend that was outside smoking a blunt look strung out! So yeaaa great experience of 50, 60 dollars!!!!!!!! And the plants are slowly dying. Sad bc it was gorgeous for a while. Not a great experience. Still have four stars for the years of a nice time til the last two and especially this last time! I will be there again in the future with the family but I will make sure I do the same time (early lunch) to not run into issues at hand this time.

Was greeted at the counter overlooking the kitchen by Anna, who was very pleasant and answered all of questions. What's great is that you not only order by roll size but also by meat ounces. Anna did tell me their seasoned fries and beer battered onion rings are very popular as well so will have to try next time. Firstly, our server was really sweet and she got super busy minutes after we sat down. She did her very best but there were times that we were sitting for a long period of time without being checked on. This wasn't her fault what so ever. It is a very slow rollin restaurant. For instance, we had some apps and dinner and we were there for almost 2 hours. I have served my entire life and typical turn around for a table who isn't drinking should be 45 mins to an hour max (just my opinion from my experience). The food was amazing when it did arrive. The only thing I would comment on is the shrimp which you cannot tell in the picture but I believe this location goes through a lot of old bay if they pour as much as they did in our peel and eat. It was SO salty I had to dip it in my glass of water to even eat it. Other than that, the food was amazing as always. I have seen a lot of people complaining on here specifically about food temps etc but that was not our experience. The only thing I would suggest is to put the Mahi Rueben on this locations menu. That should be criminal making satellite and Melbourne residents drive to the cocoa beach location for that incredible sandwich We would definitely go again but this time it would likely just be apps for the meantime because we are hangry people and 2 hours is a bit too long for us personally.
