Server was ok, didn't know what we were missing until we heard another server at a nearby table telling everybody the drink specials and food specials, sirloin on sale $2 off, etc. ours mentioned nothing at all. Ribs were overcooked, I'm from the competitive rib world and they should have a slight tug to get them off the bone, not falling apart when simply cutting them. It was tender, juicy, and delicious. I ordered a cup of their Texas Red Chili as a side. It was hot and hot! Very good! My Shiner Bock was ice cold, served in a frosted mug, and refreshing. My wife and I wanted to hit this spot because it's been a minute. We were sat immediately and served with their famous rolls and cinnamon butter. I was not impressed with their rolls. I think it's because of my picky palate. Although my wife loved them, but I have made lots of breads and most importantly eaten lots. It was good, but I felt that it was missing the "love". Anyway, I ordered the 12 oz ribeye and she ordered the chicken critters. The critters were golden brown and the texture looked amazing. My wife didn't rave about the flavor so that meant they were good. She got the side salad and the baked sweet potatoes. Texas Roadhouse is known for loading your salads with cheese and baked potato with lots of "goodness". I opted out on the cheese and everything on the side. The ribeye that I ordered looked like a NY strips. It wasn't tender like a ribeye. It lacked the marbling of a ribeye, but had the texture of a NY strip that seems to be chewer. The temperature was cooked medium-rare. I asked for medium, but to me it was good for price point. I did try their steak sauce. It was not for me because it was too smoky. It's not fair to most restaurants because I could make better product at home. Overall, this is a solid place! That's why we always come back. The service and staff are always amazing. Our server, Emma, was very kind, attentive, and thoughtful. Never needed to ask for refills on our drinks. You should give this place a try. They're not known for their ambiance. We went to the new Location, I was surprised to see where they moved to. We have gone to the old location many times before This was a nice new building and the way it was laid out was nice. They have an early bird section on the Menu that is on there from 3pm to 6pm. The waitress was very nice, she had been with them for like 14 years. She was very pleasant and Friendly. She was on top of everything and made sure we liked the food etc I ordered a Sangria Margarita and it was so good. Nice and icy especially on a hot day it was so refreshing. I think I'm hooked, it was so good. My Mom ordered off the early bird menu. The batter was salty as well as the gravy they gave with it. I ordered the steak Ka-Bob, it was dry and overcooked as was the rice. My wife had the pulled pork, same thing dry and tough to chew. You would think the cook would have these staples down to a science, whereas they could cook these items perfectly in their sleep. The salad was good as was the bleu cheese dressing. No, seriously, it is "Where can I get an awesome steak?" They are both easy answers, but in the name of professionalism, I shall only address the latter. When asked about charred bovine flesh the first thing I mention is my personal non-chain favorites; however, hands down one of the best steak houses is Texas Roadhouse. Yes, the chain. In fact, their steak is better and far easier on the wallet than 90% of independent steak houses. Founded by a former KFC manager from Louisville, KY in a mall across the Ohio River in Clarksville, IN in 1993 they now have (as of August 2021) 627 national locations in every state sans Alaska, as well as 29 international locations in 10 countries. That said, a tidbit most people aren't aware of is that their steaks are hand-cut. Amazingly, it is still far less expensive than all non-chains at which I have dined. After having been seated and given some time to look over the menu, our waiter, Marc introduced himself. If the average waiter had an avatar, it would be Marc. 50% are worse than him and 50% are better. He was a good guy, he got a good tip as he deserved; no problems with him, just a personality drier than the Atacama Desert. I asked Mr. Unexciting for one 32 oz. New York Strip -- rare, with extra seasoning. Yes, a 32 oz New York Strip rare. It is hard to cook a steak this large to any other doneness. The human operating the grill was on the ball as my steak was executed flawlessly and tasted superb. The marbling was beautiful with just the right amount of fat. I also found it to be incredibly tender and succulent. The mixed vegetables were steamed to perfection and served in a cute little acetabulum and the house salad with blue cheese, while I don't think the dressing was made in the back, was also tasty on the palate. There are no pictures of the salad and while you may notice there was another dish on the table. They are both meaningless as the focus here is on the steak. Never a disappointment! I am not a fan of "chains" I like to support local businesses more when I can but sometimes you just need some Steak & Fixins! I'm a southern gal and though I don't crave the food often, sometimes I need that "fix". Texas Roadhouse has amazing steaks for a VERY reasonable price. It's hot, cooked as ordered every time, and it's always full of flavor. Generous portions and lots of yummy sides to choose from. The charm slash down side for me in the country music that's always on blast but again, that's just the atmosphere of this place and my personal dislike for the music genre. My meal was bad. Overcooked and so dry that I almost choked on a piece. It was to go and they left out 2 major items from the order. Luckily my partner realized it and went back inside and waited for them to add both. They had closed by the time he got home about 10 minutes later. It was so bad that I emailed Roadhouse right then on their website. I let them know that the meal (6 Oz sirloin and chicken critters) was almost inedible. I ate a few bites because I was starving. The chicken tenders were mostly just pieces of fried breading. The ones that had a bit of meat were completely dried out. They get 3 stars because the manager, James, contacted me the next day and took responsibility for the poor food and service saying it was not up to standard. He sent me a credit toward my next meal. I appreciate the good customer service from James. If I only based it on the meal and original service, it would be one star. I hope it was just a bad night. read more

Stop in early, rush hour, or late and you can always get a well rounded meal with great bread to nibble on. Steaks, Ribs, Chicken, and Chili are my go-tos here. Price (if compared to other local dinner spots) is actually cheaper, you get more food, and never leave unhappy. $50 for a huge dinner for 2, the seafood joints on the island cost us about $70-80 per full dinner. Large salad even though I ordered the small my sever was nice and thats the only thing he messed up or maybe ask small or large because this thing is fucking huge cactus bloom and the spicy ranch really sets it off but you need atleast two dips for each cactus bloom you eat. My family ordered takeout from this Texas Roadhouse on Christmas Eve. Our order was ready earlier than expected and the order was completely correct! (Unexpected given all the customization options when ordering). The curbside employees were wearing Christmas attire and working their butts off to get everyone their food (it was packed). They were very polite and helpful! My parents got steaks, salads and potatoes and devoured every bite. I got bbq chicken with carrots and a baked potato. To be honest, I wasn't impressed with the chicken or carrots and only ended up eating the baked potato (which was excellent). I was excited to eat here even though I don't eat steak because of the rolls which I thought I remembered being super squishy. Apparently I was thinking of the other Roadhouse restaurant because these rolls were kinda hard and not great. Loved the cinnamon butter though. Hoping to try the shrimp next time before I write this place off as a "for steak people only" restaurant. Me and my Fiancé ate here last night for the first time. We've been to the Viera location a couple times but the service and ambiance of this Texas Roadhouse definitely beats Viera! Our server Chris was so awesome!!!! He did an outstanding job, to service and everything coming out on time and quickly and exactly when it was supposed to! Our drinks were always refilled, he brought more bread when needed and he absolutely just went above and beyond in many ways! I believe we were his last table of the night, but that didn't stop him from being patient and giving us excellent service. I dine at Texas Roadhouse quite a bit, it's a very clean and their steaks are always cooked the way you like them, the waiter was very attentive,you get 2 sides when ordering a steak, their mash potatoes are yummy or you can get a loaded baked potato,both are delicious,they also make a variety of margaritas, I usually go about 4:30 for dinner as it starts to get really crowded around 5:30, highly recommend,you will not leave there hungry ! read more

We've been to this location twice since the whole coronavirus began. The food has been fine on both occasions -- basically the same as any other Texas Roadhouse I've visited in the last several years, AKA not five star dining but still decent Texas Roadhouse quality. To be honest though, their new COVID-19 policies are a bit odd, if that's something that actually concerns you. This location (not sure what others are currently doing) has you check in outdoors yet a hostess comes outside carrying your party's bread yelling out the name and then walks you back inside to sit down. They also put plexiglass between booths to create a barrier, yet the restaurant seats parties in every single adjacent booth while leaving entire sections empty. Not sure why that's the case since multiple servers are working. This Texas Roadhouse now offers a "scan to pay" option, which is nice yet a bit odd since the servers seem to disappear once you pay. 0n our more recent visit, we verbally told our waitress (who was very attentive by the way) that we paid via the scan option. On our last visit, our waitress disappeared on us, so we just left since that we had paid anyway. read more
