Worst service across the board from appointment booking to referral authorizations for insurance to prescription orders. Constant chaos and confusion. I was diagnosed with a condition 4 months ago and was sent to the wrong specialist and it is December and I still have not been able to get a referral for the correct specialist to get the correct tests I need. The right hand never knows what the left hand is doing there and if you try to call in to discuss it, they go in circles give you inaccurate info and waste your time and money. Waste of time. First, patients are required to have a consult with Paul Weinstein's daughter before you can get an actual appointment with Paul Weinstein (Cardiologist). OK - no problem. Via the online scheduling system I booked a Zoom appointment with his daughter. About 36 hours later Caduceus sent me a confirmtation of the Zoom appointment and a link to complete the online check-in. After spending an hour+ completing the extensive online check-in, I recieved a call from a Caduceus admin staff indicating that I could NOT have a Zoom meeting since they don't do "consults" via Zoom. So basically, about 48 hours after making the Zoom appointment and significant time spent doing the check-in process their unpleasant & unapologetic admin staff called me and said my appointment had been cancelled because they don't do 'consults' online. What a stupid, unprofessional and incompetent manner of doing business. Seems their online booking system's first priority SHOULD be to determine whether a patient is elligible to use the system in the first place...? Complete waste of 2 days of my time. Also, Caduceus showed no regard, and actaully were disrespectul of my need to see a Cardiologist ASAP as my primary physician had instructed me to when he saw my test results. I saw the podiatrist with this group with pretty much knowing going in what was needed. After discussing everything I told specialist/surgeon on the 1st visit to schedule both procedures. I get call from his m.a about a week later only 1 procedure is scheduled. Go back for another visit discussing everything again & re-iterate both procedures at one time. I'm told I'll b contacted, about a week later m.a calls me again with just one procedure scheduled so again .....it's two procedures. Get a call today explaining what my benefits are but STILL no procedure scheduled. So overall, the surgeon & his staff do not listen & continue to just waste time read more

Horrible service from doctor, front desk and level of care. The wait was over an hour to see the doctor then we waited over 30 minutes for the paperwork which did not included the prescription or doctor's note for school which we requested. The doctor spent 10 minutes with my son and failed to even order the prescription. When we called back to get he note and prescription we waited on hold for over 30 minutes. I have been seeing Dr Dennis Flood for my knee pain. He has been absolutely Amazing explaining my X-rays and the game plan for my knee. Today due to the pain we discussed having an injection which I was scared about only because of hearing other's experiences with outside facilities and my FEAR of needles well Dr Flood and his M.A. Jessica O just talked to me she even offered to hold my hand we were talking about the Super Bowl and she says are you good it's done. The reason why I am giving a 3 star rating is due to the fact that I have not once actually see Dr. Kaufman since having to reschedule three times already due to him being out of the office on my schedule day and times i booked pretty far in advance. The Caduceus Specialty Group in general is amazing non the less. I am just frustrated that every time I get a phone call needing to reschedule. I know emergencies happen or something else comes up when the Dr wont be in the office. How am I ever going to address my concerns with my on going sinus issues with the Dr if I always have to call back and set up new appointments? read more

I am so unhappy with this group. First, the hold time to talk to someone is super long, to make an apt., cancel an apt or discuss anything. Second, My daughter had bumps the size of eggs on her legs and they took a sample and promptly lost it. They didn't even take another sample or try to get to the bottom of it. Stay away from Dr. Kwok for pain management. My pain was completely dismissed, because I am a 23-year-old female. I have been seeing doctors since I was 14, and they have not been able to find the cause of my GI pain. The pain is so severe that I do not sleep and cannot move from a fetal position. All he kept saying repeatedly was that I was so young and that he was concerned about possible addiction. Yes, addiction is something we should all be concerned about, but so is being immobile and unable to function and in absolute despair after so many years, tests, and doctors. All he kept saying was to do pelvic floor exercises and that I was so young. This was insulting. He could have offered me a few pills of some pain reliever or muscle relaxant to try and not just tell me some women will never find a cause of the pain. read more

They never answer the phones and I mean NEVER I was waiting while in rang and rang and rang for 30 MINUTES! I could not make an appointment to see my regular doctor when I had mastitis so bad it led me to the hospital. They are moving offices and I have no idea where to & they don't have the option on the phone to book a call back. Definitely done with this office after my 6 week postpartum check up and switching. This whole Medical group is great. They have everything in the same complex, my primary care, specialists, pediatrics, lab, x rays, its all here. My primary care Dr. Jordan is really cool & chill. My cardiologist Dr. Weinstein is the greatest, he understands that we are not doctors, gives results to us in lay terms with the proper tools to use, my nutritionist Dr, Marin is young & contemporary, giving me great tools & processes to use. I have lost almost 30 pounds in 3 months, WITHOUT exercising or putting me on a (starvation) diet, just cutting out sugar & portion control, eating "closer to the plant". The only part I dont like is sometimes the parking is tough & waits canbe long in the office. read more

In late December 2018, I had a consult with Dr. Shokes. I did wait a bit, but not so bad. The meeting went fine, he said I needed two things (1) Some surgery and (2) "Procedure A" and I need to see Dr. Kwok the procedure. He would get insurance approval on the surgery, and he sent me off to a man with rainbow dyed hair (NOT a slam, just don't recall his name). An appointment was made for January 10, 2019 10:30AM with Dr. Kwok. Rainbow told me insurance approvals could take 10-15 days. I came to see Dr. Kwok at 10:30 on 10 JAN 2019. The wait was OK from what I remember. So, I get in with Dr. Kwok and he does an exam and said he did not think I was a good candidate for "Procedure A" and he recommended "Path B." and that my surgery was related, but actually a different matter. He said he would do either A or B but it was up to me. I said B. So, he sent me out to see his nurse, and another man (yep, Rainbow - again NOT a slam). Rainbow and the other nurse promised to check on the surgery insurance and would get me a referral for "Path B"...and they would get back to me shortly. On 11 JAN 2019, I received a call from Dr. Kwok who wanted to know if I planned to schedule "Procedure A." What????? I reminded him we had agreed on "Path B" and that Rainbow or Dr. Kwok's other nurse was supposed to get back to me with a referral. He said, "they didn't?" He then promised they would call me "by the end of the day." I am still waiting. I am still waiting for the call saying Dr. Shokes office has received insurance approval. Knowing that phone calls to this place are useless, I physically appeared at their office at 2:25PM on 21 JAN 2019. There were four people in line just to check in. Knowing that this could easily mean a 30 minute wait, I left and opted to write a one star review for poor customer service. I am sorry to ream this place because I have been going there for YEARS and the quality of care has been excellent. Got a referral to another facility for my ultrasound where they actually bothered to check my benefits. Turns out I don't have a $50.00 co-pay for ultrasounds at all--that is only for specialty physician visits. My 20% due for the ultrasound was far less than the $50.00 they tried to collect at Caduceus and the new facility was more than happy to bill me. read more

Once again a problem with scheduling. Arrived for a scheduled appointment to have receptionist tell me I had no appointment. Oh great another screw up. The receptionist asked if I was sure about appointment and I showed oh confirming my appointment and was seen promptly. I had a medication check up with my current cardiologist today at Caduceus Medical Group in Yorba Linda. My appointment was to get a medication RX refill until I could transfer over to another physician after the first of the year since my insurance was changing, at my request. I might add Caduceus requested that I make an appt in December with them knowing I was leaving their medical group come January; not allowing me a 1 month pass in meds until my new insurance kicked in. I get it, get the most out of my current medical insurance while you can; kudos to management & Dr. DiNicola, but what I can not stand any more is being treated by their physician who only works until 1:00, 3 days a week in filthy attire. Today I arrived 15 mins early as instructed for a 12:45 appt., not to be called into the room until 1:30 p.m. Once in the room, I could hear Dr Zamarra ask his medical assistant (MA) what I was being seen for and once she replied I was there to get meds until I transfer to another doctor he seemed disturbed. When he arrived to my room he was sporting the most disgusting, dirty, less than white doctors coat. I finally decided to tell the MA how disturbed the Dr's less than professional attire has disturbed me. She was kind and apologized for him siting he had no wife; SAD excuse for a doctor. I've been meaning to update this review. Tina reached out to me shortly after posting my first 1-star review to apologize for their lack of phone availability. She acknowledged it is an issue and said they're more responsive via online methods. She connected me with the individual doctors office I was attempting to reach and made sure that they were working with me quickly. I've had a much better experience since my first post so I feel its fair to update my review to reflect that. They have some work to do on the phone system but seem to want to improve things. read more

I took my young daughter for an Ultrasound a couple weeks back and I have to say what started out as a nervous visit quickly turned into a easy going visit. From the start we were greeted at the front desk with smiles and Natalie made my daughter feel extremely comfortable and talked her through every part of the test to put her at ease. As a longtime RN manager, I can see the systematic issues with this office. I, too, would give a "0" if possible. I am consistently battling for decent service. The consistent problem is NO ONE answers the phone. I've never been on hold like I am when I try to reach Cadeucus... no matter which department I'm trying to access. And this is every, single time. The only dept that answers immediately is billing, which is a 3rd party. I can't even reach a manager. After seeing the MD yesterday for lab results, a new diabetic med was ordered for my husband, as well as an increase in the dose of another med. When he got to the pharmacy last evening, he was told only the med increase was called in...not the diabetic med! And when the office finally called me back today, I was told only that "sorry...we were really busy". Seriously??? So they could only tell the pharmacy about one med and not two? I felt patronized by the person I spoke too. She didn't even care enough to give me a better excuse. And when I went to the website and found manager phone #s for urgent issues, under the Patient Support tab, I called 3 times--it rings 12 times and goes dead. Not even a VM available. Our MD is great but the office is awful...every, single time. Unfortunately, we're stuck for now. read more

My mom (94) sees Dr Kwok for pain mgmt. Doctor really listens to mom and doesn't rush to a conclusion. We especially love his nurse Becca. She is especially wonderful with my mom and if we have to call with a question, she always gets back to us right away. Both Becca and Doctor are compassionate and skilled. read more

So my Dr. moved here recently and because I really like him I decided to stick with him even though it's more out of my way! Yesterday was my first appointment there. The receptionist was great and kind and very helpful. Waiting area was good and even free water and cookies!! Now here comes the bad part! I get called in by the nurse I smiled and said hi, no smile back, no hello, no conversation, told me to step on the scale and then showed me to my room told me to sit on the chair. No conversation nothing that would seem like she enjoyed being a nurse. At his old clinic his nurses were kind, asked how your day was, how you are doing. This one was just robotic. She took my vitals as she is taking out her blood pressure cuff she drops a piece of paper on the floor she never picked it up it fell right on my foot. Then asked why I was there, typed up some things then said dr would be in shortly! I told my dr his nurse needed better bed side manners, he said it wasn't the first complaint! I had a great experience with Caduceus Specialty office today! I've been suffering from an allergic reaction for over a week and have been going crazy. Katie, the front office girl and Terry Landis their dermatologist made my whole week. Katie is so sweet and got me checked in right away and I only waited a few minutes before I was called to the back. Once I was in a room, they took my vitals and let me know Terry would be right in to see me. I expected to wait like you do at most doctors but literally Terry walked in to see me not even a minute later. She was so attentive, comforting and knowledgable. She examined me and told me exactly what was needed to help me feel better. She even personally made sure my medications were sent in to my pharmacy before I left the office. I went straight to the pharmacy, got my medicine and BOOM, I'm starting to feel better only hours later. I will be recommending this office and Terry to anyone in need of a dermatologist. I have been a patient at Caduceus for many years. I recently started seeing James the Registered Dietitian with the Specialty Group. I have had 3 visits since April 1st and have followed his recommended diet. It has been a huge success. He takes the time to review the consequences of eating both good and bad and he is engaged with me on each visit. He even emails a list of recommended foods and where to find them after each visit. I am thankful for James and this entire office for helping me with this lifestyle change. read more

I have to take time out to thank the staff and Dr. Constantine. I had a irritating issue with my left foot. Dr. C (as he also goes by) was very cautious with the treatment, letting me know pros and cons along the way. He is patient, and explains things in detail, or keeps it simple, what ever approach you need. Eventually we agreed that surgery was the best option. The day of the procedure he once again made me feel very confident. Surgery went great, and except for a minor infection, I am healing well. Taking his advise, I feel I will be 100% again! Dr. C, you're simply the best! I must also give a shout out to Natasha, his assistant. Natasha ALWAYS has a smile on her face, and makes you feel that you're truly important. I still did not hear from anyone since my last update. They sent me another bill and flagged that this is in collections. I currently have excellent credit rating and I am not going to let this office destroy it. My husband said to just pay the unethical charge and get the monkey off my back for now and not to ever deal with this office again. I decided to pay even though I feel that the charge is not legitimate, it's like pleading guilty even though I'm not guilty. Since this office is so imcompetent, I don't want to take a chance of ruining my excellent credit rating. Everyone in this office is unprofessional from what I observed. I am being completely ignored. If this office is to be rated, it would be an F. They secretly charge an unethical "procedure" and when I ask about it, they ignore me. I have filed a complaint to the CA Medical board for unethical business practice and they will look into it. I just don't want the office to get away with it with future patients. When a patient take a skin allergy test and gets charged somewhere between $1,500-$1,600 and talks to the doctor about the results, the patient should not be charged another fee to discuss this results. This is just not RIGHT. This is UNETHICAL. The office just wants to squeeze as much money as they can from the patients even though they have collected a hefty sum already.
