I initially left a 1 star review due to a billing issue with insurance. My daughter was not told about a $100 copay until after she was seen. We have amazing insurance and typically pay a zero copay for all in-network visits aside from ER visits. After she was charged I called our insurance and found out that urgent cares can bill under different codes some of which make them fall under the ER visit category. My issue wasn't the fact they bill in that way it was that she wasn't told until after she had been seen and we didn't have the option to seek other care that would be covered for her non emergency issue. The doctor himself called me to discuss the issue and apologized for how it was handled. He adjusted the charge and refunded my daughter the copay. We did not ask for a refund or expect one because we weren't disputing his services. He was very kind, authentic and did not dismiss my concerns. I truly appreciate and am impressed with how he handled the situation. It is clear he cares more about his patients and practice then he does profit and truly strives to do the right thing. He could give a masterclass in customer service. read more

My Dad had already been at the ER the night before, but it was when you saw his test results, that you told us to immediately take him back to the ER the next night. Went in right before they took their last patient at 845 pm as my mom slammed her finger in my car door. We were greeted by the Dr himself and gave her direction on how to apply pressure to her wound. Dr Azeem was very professional yet personable. He was patient in explaining to my mom what he was about to do. (Numbing shot and stitches). I've been to urgent care facilities in the past but he was definitely the best Dr we've seen. Office is located in the food de chao/in n out plaza off imperial and state college. Have no fear on the parking situation!! They got it all figured out (with the traffic from in n out). Dr. Azeem is a excellent doctor and one of a kind! He is personable, professional and very thorough. It's so hard to find doctors like him. Can you be my primary care physician? He does not waste time and his main objective is to treat you and not to make money. Most important he is a doctor that stands by his oath "to do no harm". If you ever leave please let me know. I would like to follow you in wherever your practice would be as long as it's within a 20 miles radius. I also have to comment on this particularly. Many times especially dermatology clinics or private clinics (going on a tangent here) will have 4.5 or higher in their reviews because they ask for a review (which is okay if the service what great but then agai thats a patients perrogative. Some doctors have a product to sell and if you give a review they will give you that product for free (or Some type of incentive to give the patient). I kind of don't want to promote this clinic because it could become busy lol Dr. Afran is truly an excellent doctor. The first time my daughter bumped her head and was bleeding, he took care of the stitches right away. And this time, when I brought my mother in for a cold, he discovered it was actually sinusitis. Attention parents of toddlers! This is hands down the best urgent care to bring your child to. My son had a high fever and congestion, and I decided to again skip Providence in Fullerton and I'm so glad I did. Unlike some other places, this urgent care tests for everything so you leave knowing exactly what's going on and with the right medication in hand. During our visit yesterday, there was no wait, and within 30 minutes my son was tested for COVID, Influenza A & B, Strep, and RSV. No unnecessary back-and-forth just quick, thorough care and clear answers. It turned out my son had RSV again, and the doctor prescribed the medication we needed right away. No hassle, no guessing, just excellent care. If you have a child and want fast, thorough answers, this is the place to go. read more

Whenever the need to go to an urgent care arises, it's usually a bit stressful -- you or someone you love is not feeling well, the time in the waiting room might take forever, and the doctor you get can be a real crap shoot. Having said that, I am so grateful that we found The Fast Urgent Care. It was truly "fast"....even on a weekend when urgent care centers are customarily very, very busy! We walked in shortly after it opened that day. Took a few minutes to fill out paper work, and we were in an examination room for maybe 5 minutes when the doctor came in. Dr. Azeem was warm and personable, which put my child at ease, and he was very thorough, taking the time to explain and describe what he was doing, what he was seeing, what the treatment is, answering questions from my child, etc. Our experience at The Fast Urgent Care, with Dr. Azeem and with the front office receptionist, was top-notch. It completely restored my faith that there IS excellent quality healthcare out there after having had some poor, unfortunate experiences with Kaiser over the past couple of years. read more

If you need to find an urgent care, go here. Dr. Azeem was so incredibly kind and patient, and wasn't rushing to leave the room like a lot of urgent care doctors tend to be. I came in with some swelling behind my ears and he instantly identified the issue and explained what was happening so I would fully understand. He also explained why he was prescribing a certain medication- and directions on what it did and how it would help my situation. I luckily was one of few patients at the time of walk-in so I was seen very quickly and was able to get back home without waiting, but the whole process of being a first-time patient to getting my prescription was extremely efficient and not at all a pain. The front desk nurse was also very nice and I appreciated her helping me out. Stop looking for other places and go here if you need urgent care. I'm sure you're in a rush to find a good clinic. Fast indeed!=) very very clean facility and great service. Dr Azeem is extremely caring, explains EVERY POSSIBLE CAUSES, and spends great amount time with patients. I took my kid for lingering mucus in his nasal area for about a month that just didn't go away. His pediatrician had the soonest appnt available in one week but I didn't want to wait in case my kid's lung wasn't clear. Thoroughly examined and I am relieved!
